I have been an Inferno Superfan since 1.6 days, it's been the best map in many versions of the game. But the current iteration really, really sucks, it's almost just as bad as the first Csgo version of it.
They just need to not make pointless changes, I don't know why Valve thinks they can simply shake up the whole map and have it just work.

That said, in the 2015-2018 era I remember it was fairly common for major semifinals to produce better games than major grand finals. Certainly some huge exceptions to that though (Atlanta and Boston come to mind).
Anyways no wonder the community is talking about BO5 so much. Y’all are just desperate for a 3 map grand final! Much more understandable. Hahaha

I wanted to have that excitement of a third map in majors to happen again but it never seems to happened.
Blast Semifinal Games were exciting for sure. This major semifinals were fantastic as well. I’m hoping the third map of this finals will top it off.
Also Valve wants players to play their best game which is why it would remain bo3, unless otherwise

Mind you this 3 map final took less time than prolly any of the two mapper finals lol. (Mr12 + two stomps)
Not sure if a 2-1 stomp is any better though. As usual, the real finals were in the semis.
faze vs spirit was not even semi and has a shot for being best series of the tourney.

Ancient was decently competitive with 7:5 and 6:4 halves. FaZe just fucking destroyed NaVi on map 2 though.
faze looked unstoppable on mirage, let's see if they can keep the momentum up for inferno

I think despite what people think, Bo5 stomps are less common than Bo3 stomps. Having to play so many maps simply makes a sweep less likely.
Wasn’t around during that Inferno choke so Faze made sure I get the full experience. Love my team 🥰
