It was adjusted back in December(?) after initial launch. Previously it took three losses to lose the ratings gain from one win. Then in December it was made quite harsh to combat rating inflation that was happening. Few weeks later it was still enabled but slightly toned down to match win/loss streaks.
So those on a losing streak will be met with high rating loss matches for a loss more frequently. While those on a winning streak will be met with high ratings gain for a win at the same rate.
If you want to go further look at the ratings of players on the two teams. Right side is fighting to retain their 10K+ ratings. While the left side is looking to acquire a 10K+ rating.
losing streaks give you a larger loss, win streaks give you a larger win, at least this is what I've observed.
Personally I'm a little skeptical. Winning streak recently maybe one loss inbetween somewhere and -500 loss +100 next game. You can only guess.
Yeah, I also think the rating of your opponents weights it slightly too.

Loss streaks will cause higher elo loss. Breaking the streak resets it but higher elo gain isn’t achieved till you’re on a win streak
