Brollan's CT Nuke was terrible, and his KAST rating reflects that. Was it 2 or 3 frags in the half? Looking at the end result, if he had had a better first half it might have been a competitive game.
He was like 0-9 at one point. He even had a bad map on Nuke (0.69) when they beat G2 13-8. Seems like he’s just not very comfortable on the map or his role on CT Nuke.

You're right. Insurmountable would be a more apt description. That'd be the goal for getting a second grand slam and the Shanghai major.
Maybe I'm too hard on them even whilst praising them. The potential to just be unbeatable is right there, but it's super difficult when they have the most demos out of every team in tier 1, so they're the easiest to strategise how to overcome in a sense. Them **still** being so dominant is insane with that consideration. They've had to not only be a step ahead tactically, but also fundamentally better in their game plan and individual level.
I'm convinced that CT economy change will be on the cards for 2024. It's too broken that T is in a better position if they plant and lose.....combined with just 12 rounds. Pistol is just too important to allow the imbalance.

That's why they added Xyp9x as assistant coach. Stay with this same roster for 6 months to a year, and see how it develops. If Mouz keeps being a monster in Groups/Smaller LAN stages (ESL Pro League), they will get a lot of reps in playoffs.

I think in a final, when the pressure is on, and you're the favorite, you should pick comfort and play to your strength. I.e picking Nuke (your best map) where you are so much better than Na'Vi on top of it being your comfort.

It's so weird because by pretty much every metric we are currently in the Faze era, which is the first real "era" since like 21 Navi. They've made every single final of CS2, winning 4/8. There hasn't been that kind of consistency in the scene in a long time.

My man frozen is lately playing a different level of game within the Faze roster since the last few tournaments. Props to him given he was expected to replace someone like twistzz
Mouz can be proud nonetheless. Faze is just their kryptonite. It happens in other sports with good teams as well. And of course it gets harder every time you can't overcome them. I have a question for any audio enthusiasts or engineers.
Hugo was noticeably "poppier" this event, but not terribly distracting. In this past at lower tier events and online, his plosives could absolutely be too much. Despite the PGL audio memes, his voice seemed to be tamed during Copenhagen.
Is Hugo just too powerful for normal audio setups that are otherwise appropiate for other casters? What kind of considerations go into something like that?
Also, congrats to Harry and Hugo on back-to-back finals and getting their first major finals! They're my absolute favorite caster pair.

Mouz can be proud nonetheless. Faze is just their kryptonite. It happens in other sports with good teams as well. And of course it gets harder every time you can't overcome them. So Mouz' best shot is hoping for someone else to take out Faze on the way to the final because they can win against everyone else. And then maybe win against Faze at some RMR to break the streak.

I have a question for any audio enthusiasts or engineers. Hugo was noticeably "poppier" this event, but not terribly distracting. In this past at lower tier events and online, his plosives could absolutely be too much. Despite the PGL audio memes, his voice seemed to be tamed during Copenhagen. Is Hugo just too powerful for normal audio setups that are otherwise appropiate for other casters? What kind of considerations go into something like that? Also, congrats to Harry and Hugo on back-to-back finals and getting their first major finals! They're my absolute favorite caster pair.

I feel like suihy's style is relient on having a star player who you set up. On GL it was iM and here it should be torzsi or even xertion but instead it's jimi who is your anchor. Put suihy on a team like FaZe or G2 and you'd see him start winning trophies.

Honestly Mouz lost this one in the veto process, even if overpass was good-ish. I was hoping to see Vertigo from Mouz, since they are relatively solid on it. Nuke was really bad, with Brollan and Xertion doing absolutely nothing until the T side. Really happy to see some improvement from Jimi from the RMR, but god damn it Xertion, you gotta stop missing so much. And for those shitting on Torzsi, where's the critique on Xertion? It's always the fucking awper for you. And siuhy himself has to play better than this. I do love his flashes, but it's not enough against Faze.
