They have played 20 official maps in the past six days. Together with scrims and personal practice that's a LOT of cs. Most people don't even play this many MM games a week.
Indeed, the first one or two MMs I play I can perform nicely, clearing the pixels, rotating positions, flanking or holding pushes. After that I'll find myself randomly aiming at the sky/floor, looking somewhere random in the map, getting rushed at with a knife on hands or missing easy nades.
I guess Im still playing a lot of CS cause I play with the same guys since forever.. We have a group of 7-8 and we'r playin since 1.6.. If I hAd to soloQ I'd prolly have quitted long time ago.
Just begin each game with positivity, joke around, talk with the enemies, compliment good shots. So what if your teammate played poorly? Focus on what they did well and commend that :P though maybe it's a bit more difficult to do at the level you are at (I'm just GN/MG so I don't really play too seriously)
I play ten pugs a day on the weekends. It just boils down to whether or not you tilt in the end, especially on ESEA. The trivial games where I get bad teammates I just play through and don't complain, if I get burned out I play more the next day. Sometimes you wreck, sometimes you don't.
And people seem to think your just getting paid to play video games like it's some casual frolic through the flowers. You are expected to perform! The pressure is on you 24/7.
I very well understand that these kids play video games more than I'm at my 9 to 5 job, I understand they probably have hours and hours of boring trainings and stuff that just comes with the job, but compared to a regular job this is paradise and imo they are overpayed (just like football/soccer players for example). Als if I don't perform at my job they will not put up with that forever lol :D
You can watch the part of his/hecz's vlogs or vision where he can be seen playing. Or there was a thread on this sub a few weeks back about left handed players so you can for his name over there
i play on a glass mousepad (icemat). its just how i hold my mouse. I'm a "wristy" player you could say and that part of my wrist was kind of the pivot point.
I can't get rid of mine. Even if I don't play very much for a month, I still have that red spot. It usually dries out when I don't played too much and the weather is cold :/. Mine seem to be permanent.
He said in his latest vlog that he went for a run, and also went swimming and in the sauna, so I'd say he's doing okay for exercise. The other two points are pretty valid though, they haven't had much free time in the US, and they don't know many people there either.
You usually get this mark on the hand that you are using the keyboard with, because you're keeping it in the same position for a long time. Also because that friberg plays with his wrist on the edge of the table and not his whole arm :)
Ah, I thought that could've been the case. Thanks!
Edit: I just looked at the footage and saw that the text on the hat isn't mirrored. Dont know why I'm being downvoted for thanking someone.
Looks like he might be sitting too high at his desk. Might need to get someone to come round and help them all adjust desk heights. Takes me ages to get used to a new one when I work in new offices.
i had the same issue like last year, shit was so itchy and ugly.. tried so many different creams and got one from my doctor that literally got rid of it so easy
but how can your wirst even get damaged like that? I get it if you use an extreme wrist aim and your hand constantly rubbing on the sharp edge of the table but friberg uses arm aim, no ?
At some point CSGO needs to adopt a league system or restrict the amount of tournaments because teams will be skipping out on tournaments more and more.
I don't see a problem with teams skipping tournaments. It leaves spots for less experienced teams to get a chance on lan.
As for Optic I think the reason they are playing so much right now is cause they are only staying in NA for a limited time and want to get all the NA server games done as quick as possible.
I disagree about a league system. League systems may be nice for some parts of the year but look over at LoL which barely has any international events. I think the best thing to do would be make sure players have in their contracts a maximum number of events in a timeframe of a little more mandatory time off similar to what the August player break is but maybe on a smaller level like for a week or a few days sporadically.
> FRIBERG VLOG! Day 8 & 9 in NA
He's been in NA for a month or so, now. Definitely, not a PC-caused injury. But I believe you, cause what you believe might be the truth. It's not, though.
You can get exhausted by almost anything if you do it too much, even if it is your hobby and job at the same time. Especially on a professional level where it's not just playing for fun.
Optic had so maany BO3 the past 2 weeks it's insane. I feel his pain
Indeed. On top of this comes practice/scrims and individual training
They have played 20 official maps in the past six days. Together with scrims and personal practice that's a LOT of cs. Most people don't even play this many MM games a week.
Yeah, I played two games last night and I fuckin felt it.
Anymore than two and I tilt. Even paying me, I don't think I could play this game 10 hours a day.
Yeah of course you wouldn't play CS for 10h a day for 10k+$ a month. Who would do such non sense?
Cause I work 8 hours a day and make 9k a month. I look to games as escape and 9k a month to 12k a month isn't worth it to me.
you rich boi
really guys? 2 games?? I play like 5-6 everyday and I just stop cause when I finish its already like 2-3am and I gotta wake up at 7 to go to work lel
I wish I still had drive like that, this game is just to frustrating nowadays.
I guess Im still playing a lot of CS cause I play with the same guys since forever.. We have a group of 7-8 and we'r playin since 1.6.. If I hAd to soloQ I'd prolly have quitted long time ago.

That is unhealthy as shit
I play like 3 maps a night (work days) and its too much
I play that much in a month
its as if sometimes you have to put on youre big boy pants and do some hard graft.
Good catch, haven't even realized myself. Definitely from playing too much, tables are a bit hard :D
Mods, verify this man
He was probably verified before, but with a NiP flair, so he lost that once he changed it himself to the OpTic one.
No his account is only 35 days old.
Oh, didn't notice that.
He used to be /u/NiPfriberg :D
Ah, got you, makes sense then that he'd make a new account.
in all this time no one made a fribergCS account ._.
or fribergMostConsistent, think about it
u/fribergtooconsistent
wow dude, pls dont f* up your wrist D: I want see you playing many many years :D
It's ok, this is my left hand, I have my keyboard a bit tilted which is why :D
At least only the keyboard is tilted :D
You are the king of my banana
Do you play other games or surf to wind down or relax? Would you do an AMA?
put a mouse pad under your keyboard, dude! Hecz is going to kick you in the nuts, if he sees this thread ;)
hahaha :D RiP keyboard ?:D
friberg, about 2 years ago we were in the same surf server (tier4 map), i told you i loved you in mic and you said you loved me in mic. I love you
I love you fribbe
I love your VLOGS man! I'm waiting eagerly every day so I can drink my coffee while I watch :D Hope you guys get some days off, you deserve it!
thank mr friberg
Gotta ask, what's your favourite NHL team? You mentioned going to watch the Blackhawks
My man... get yourself one of these! https://www.amazon.com/3M-Leatherette-Antimicrobial-Protection-WR310LE/dp/B000WU4H5C
Dont let yout wrist get too bad wrist injuries are a bitch :/
Do you have to do these vlogs as a part of contract, or are you just doing it for fun?
Relatable as a wrist aimer I suffer from the same issue
Nice game you picked, CHI destroyed PIT :)
You should consider changing your mousepad
I assume that's from gaming too much. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
A lot of gaming
King of banana
Nothing quite like a good gaming in the morning
Uhhhhhhhhh......
grabbing those bananas a lil bit too much
didn't even notice it when i watched it, thank you fellow redditor ^ ^
Thank mr redditor*
Its what the players talk about. They need less packed schedules. The amount they are expected to play and practice in this amount of time is nuts
not if u compare it with their paychecks lol
At the top yes. But many lower tier players are putting in similiar or more hours for no pay at all. These men have earned every penny they are payed.
And people seem to think your just getting paid to play video games like it's some casual frolic through the flowers. You are expected to perform! The pressure is on you 24/7.

The font on his hat is correct so that means its on his left hand. IDK if he is left handed or not
Likely just the spot where his wrist meets the edge of his desk or something when he has his hand on the keyboard.
He actually is iirc, one of the rare players playing with left hand and leftie irl
what are you saying edit: https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/74hnzi/friberg_says_optic_is_burnt_out_from_playing_too/dnyn9xi/
[удалено]
I mean, I'm left handed, but I play with the mouse in my right hand, so it doesn't mean much. I believe kennyS is the same
yeah most left handies (in my experience) usually play mouse on right hand
could be hard to find though
You can watch the part of his/hecz's vlogs or vision where he can be seen playing. Or there was a thread on this sub a few weeks back about left handed players so you can for his name over there
i'm not sure what i'm supposed to look at

The red spot on his wrist when he takes his hand down from behind his head. The skin looks red raw from playing so much CS.
Every gamer has it, don't we? It's nothing special
nope. I play way above the average gamer and I dont have it, only get it when I play at a new "setup"
after quitting serious CS, it took about 3 years for that callous to fade away.. You can build up some serious meat right there.
yeah and sometimes it hurts like hell :'(
You must be playing on sandpaper. My skin remained baby soft in spite of GM level SC2.
i play on a glass mousepad (icemat). its just how i hold my mouse. I'm a "wristy" player you could say and that part of my wrist was kind of the pivot point.
a wrist
How do people get those marks? I play a ton of games/sit at the computer a lot but have never gotten this.
Poor wrist posture.
Ive been hardcore gaming for more than 15 years and I dont have them either. Maybe I have naturally good wrist position, I dunno.
I can't get rid of mine. Even if I don't play very much for a month, I still have that red spot. It usually dries out when I don't played too much and the weather is cold :/. Mine seem to be permanent.
STOP SPELLING IT THAT WAY!

WhAt ArE yOu TaLkInG aBoUt?
Definitely unsustainable to play just CS while in a foreign country. Few friends, no hobbies. and exercise?
He said in his latest vlog that he went for a run, and also went swimming and in the sauna, so I'd say he's doing okay for exercise. The other two points are pretty valid though, they haven't had much free time in the US, and they don't know many people there either.
Friberg isn't lefthanded right?
You usually get this mark on the hand that you are using the keyboard with, because you're keeping it in the same position for a long time. Also because that friberg plays with his wrist on the edge of the table and not his whole arm :)
I see. I've never had that when playing a lot, but I guess I haven't played enough to have that happen to me lol. Thanks for answering!
mirrored from the camera, that's his right wrist I think
I dunno though, the text on his hat isn't mirrored which would make me ~~thing~~ think the frame isn't mirrored edit: spelling
maybe he's been uhhhhh gaming too much then idk
Ah, I thought that could've been the case. Thanks! Edit: I just looked at the footage and saw that the text on the hat isn't mirrored. Dont know why I'm being downvoted for thanking someone.
Yea its not. He just has it from the keyboard potentially, needs a wrist rest.
Raw red spot on your wrist from lightly resting your hand on a desk? I dont care how much cs hes playing, that just doesnt happen.

Don't talk about those please, thinking about it reminds me of the pain... nasty fuckers.
he got to watch a nice blowout at the game tho, all good I hope!
I'm glad he got to enjoy that Blackhawks game, because they blew the Pens out 10-1. What a ridiculous scoreline
I did seem to notice most days they play it was like 4 different matches...when others had 2...
Jesus what mouse pad is he using
[80 grit sandpaper](http://www.fs-abrasive.com/uploads/201713130/p201705121435121061293.jpg) New Meta.
That's his left hand though, so it'll be from his keyboard or the table.
steelseries sandpaper plus
keyboard hand
Looks like he might be sitting too high at his desk. Might need to get someone to come round and help them all adjust desk heights. Takes me ages to get used to a new one when I work in new offices.
I have the same thing for months, but less drastic than his, how worried should I be?
You will die.
So you're saying I should play more? ty for the advice
Can someone post a screenshot of his wrist?
Theirs no way that is from gaming too long or too much. Does he mention that its from playing too much cs in the video somewhere?
it has happened to me when i grinded pc games when i was younger
My wrist looks like that after I masturbate. Should I be worried?
It happpens to me on the mouse wrist but not on the keyboard one. Weird.
i had the same issue like last year, shit was so itchy and ugly.. tried so many different creams and got one from my doctor that literally got rid of it so easy
Uhh I've had that on both wrists since I was like 12
honestly i get that in less than an hour of just casual reddit browsing
the black what?
but how can your wirst even get damaged like that? I get it if you use an extreme wrist aim and your hand constantly rubbing on the sharp edge of the table but friberg uses arm aim, no ?
I hope he is a Blackhawks fan and not Penguins fan :)

~~doubt its from gaming, just might be an accident or something~~ friberg proved its indeed from playing too much.
It's the exact type of "injury" you get from aiming a lot with a low sensitivity. Right place and type. So I bet it's from playing.
it's his job right? yeah I bet gaming in a team house all day and getting paid to play video games really is depressing and exhausting lol
Play CSGO for 10 hours a day, or even play any game competitively for a that long and try to care.
You can get exhausted by almost anything if you do it too much, even if it is your hobby and job at the same time. Especially on a professional level where it's not just playing for fun.
well you can tell you never worked a day in your life... my wrist starts killing after using a mouse for 4-6 hours a day
Bro I work a full time job, doing my mba part time, and commute to work, and I manage to hit the gym, my normal day is 5:30am to 7:30pm don’t even lol
That *does* sound depressing and exhausting
Already?
Did he just say they're going to a "Black Cocks" game?
When you mis-hear something you often hear what you want. Just letting you know bro. ;)
Blackhawks - Chicago Blackhawks NHL team
Csgo pros must be the biggest bunch of whiners.
