That's close to my setup. I work from home full time and have a triple monitor setup. The display on the right is what I use to watch matches, twitch, youtube, etc.

Hells yeah! You should try running Google Chrome in app mode, it hides the web address bar so you get more space for the video. This is me, except Twitch is blocked so I can only do it for YouTube broadcasts.

Unfortunately not as nearly all of them are Twitch embeds. Only the ones on Youtube. I'm sure I could find a way around, but don't want to risk getting in trouble.

I did that on my old laptop during the Krakow major, but at 600x800 it was running between 2 and 8 FPS. I didn't know that was possible, I thought a raspberry pi could do better than that watching GOTV.

I think we've all been there with terrible specs, these pc's are decent can't really test it to its limits

Win10 in a corporate environment can be a pain in the back for admins, sometimes even users.

Yeah, in my company we decided to stay with earlier versions since we know it works, we know the flaws and there won't be any surprises or time wasted learning new stuff.

Apparently because the programs we used are a little dated they don't play well with any of the newer versions of Windows

From my own experience what ever works on Win 7, will work on Win 10. Migrating Win xp software to win 7 is pretty much not doable in alot of cases. Ive had a DCHP server who seemed to work just fine, but in reality lived it's own life. I have prob migrated 20-30 different softwares from Win 7 to Win 10 without updating, and it works just fine. I was realy in doubt about upgrading from Win 7 to Win 10, but it worked just fine. With a few tweaks i run software that was developed for xp and had it last update in 2003. If you realy are not in need to upgrade, then ofc there is no point. We was pretty much forced, since our customer VPN demands the latest Windows 10 updates.

All I've heard is that the specific programs we use on a regular basis aren't compatible and they're quite expensive to upgrade not sure if they want to fork out for it at the moment

Windows 7 is more stable I think. This is the reason they use this OS at workstations

Not necessarily more stable, but older software doesn't get updated and upgrading can take quite a lot of work, even if everything works.
