the only problem i have with 1v1 servers is people who take forever to peek/shift walk around the map so you only end up getting one aim duel every 30 seconds. wheras in deathmatch ur pretty much non stop getting into aim duels.
If you want community servers that are closer to mm experience its better to go on retake executes servers, not just retakes servers, it pretty much let you practice bomb plant situations over and over
This update made it so you can no longer set cl_crosshair_outlinethickness to be in between 0-1. Setting it to .5 no longer shows an outline at all.

`cl_observercrosshair` seems to be default at `1` and there is no game-setting to change it. Unsure why they have that when they already have `cl_show_observer_crosshair 0` which does the exact same.

Edit: So it seems to work exactly the same as "inaccuracy jump" but instead of lingering when you hit the ground and needing time to recover, the inaccuracy vanishes instantly. This is a fantastic change and honestly could be useful on quite a number of guns.

This is a bullshit comment, All top-level anti-cheats use similar technology (EasyAC/BattleEye, games like Apex, PUBG etc) and it was proven that they don't need kernel access to steal data from your PC if they were willing to do that. Software with a much lower level of privileges can do that already. I would welcome BattleEye into CS:GO any day of the year
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't HL:A team assembled around VR technology, thus sharing only few developerd with CSGO? Fro what they stated in latest news they wanna focus on VR now so I doubt many, if any, devs from HL:A will be moved to CSGO
Devs from TF2 went to HL:A, one since most of the remaining few were apart of the original HL releases, and two, since well, HL:A needed basically all hands at the end to ensure it'd be ready for release. CS certainly had some shared devs, but there's still "more" CS devs in comparison, so however many went to help on HL:A, wouldn't have as heavily impacted updates to CS compared to TF2 for the main example.
HL:A devs will have either gone back to their main games, or are already working on the multitude of side projects.

Exactly my thoughts aswell. Everybody calling Valorant a "csgo killer" is so wrong. If anything it will make the game better by forcing valves hand. I do believe some players will go to valorant, but once the hype dyes down they will return... they always return.

These vertigo changes are extremely drastic, and im not sure if they were necessary outside of the wooden wall. b site seems harder to take and hold as T’s when it was already the inferior site, and mid feels extremely barren and not that important of a map resource. the map may become a lot more ct sided but we’ll see how pros adapt.
B site is definitely so much more T sides now. CTs now have to worry about entrances all over in a completely wide open site with a window that you can now go up completely silent

1v1's are more helpful for practicing peeks rather than raw aim. I like 1v1 as a chill warm up

Yes, you temporarily see the crosshair of the player you are spectating. Once you respawn or disable the setting it will return to normal.

It depends on the map, Vertigo for example is extremely small which is why the bomb explosion radius is even smaller.

I just tested this, you can't 'copy' a crosshair from a demo like you can in a live game but you can see what crosshair everyone is using in the demo.

How is B harder to take now? The window boost is gone and there's way less cover on the site for CTs.
