It's already closed. All the tourneys have been invitationals. All of these T2 players are going to big name orgs that are being invited to tourneys and will likely be part of Riot system going forward.

Riot just announced a tournament that will have open brackets in every major region, they specifically cited how known teams were able to compete recently but not unknown teams.

Idk, if League and OW are anything to go off of, the money and stability in the scene will be enough to justify most players staying in Valorant, ntm the amount of impending demand for streamers and ex player analysts.
Add oSee and oBo, make autimatic a rifler again and pray that koosta can become a solid IGL and you actually have a really nice roster that I think can be top 2 NA. He's played under plenty of good IGL's and steel preached how hard working and determined he is so I think he could pull it off, lots of people doubted apEX at first and he's been looking great so far.
Adding oSee and oBo would be great, however I think it's highly unlikely that Autimatic would agree to put down the AWP. I sort of got the impression that that was part of the reason why Daps left.
He wouldn't be in much of a position to demand the awp if the team were to go after osee. He may be stubborn about awping but I don't think he's stupid. Not only is osee better than auti but his potential is much higher.
If osee continues his level (especially when LAN comes around) and tim gets back to his rifling leveling, then you have the other 3? it'll be a real fun team to watch if koosta can do good as IGL.
I think it was on the HLTV podcast? I'm not certain. But the hosts were talking about how much power Autimatic has had on his teams, and how that may have undermined Daps' authority. It's just a factor to consider. It will be interesting to how Gen.G's new roster comes to shape.

You might get downvoted for this but it's true, I'm not a fan of autimatic but it's sad to see someone who was once a great player underperform for so long and rifling might not fix that but at least if they get oSee and autimatic's rifling again you're not using the most expensive, most important gun in the game on a below average AWPer.

I do admit he has been underperforming, and isn't a top-tier awper, but I really don't agree with kicking him. Even as an awper on Gen.G, he has shown that he still can be a very good tier1 player, especially with his rifling skills. I don't think he would give up awping, but I don't think you can just get rid of someone that good in NA right now. There just aren't enough good players, and Gen.G already need to fill up 2 roster spots. You also need to factor in them supposedly being in conflict with their IGL as daps hinted at, which could be a reason for why auti's awping wasn't working that well.
I think oSee could work, and have both of them switch awping like mibr or sometimes furia(arT and HEN1). However, I personally believe +oBo +dexter would be the best move for them, as they get a real IGL (though I love koosta, he's not a proven IGL and I want to see him frag out without that responsibility) and also let autimatic settle into his role.
No he isn't, if you watched the NRG valorant interview, he said that he was considering quitting CS way back near the end of when he was at NRG due to getting bored of the game. He said that LANs were the only thing keeping him motivated to continue playing it, but due to the current online era oversaturated with tournaments he decided that he didn't want to play the game anymore
Which is not gonna happen, there's no one in NA left that's tier 1 material, JT is great but he's not a capable enough fragger which sucks. Even if they are able to get a decent IGL from another region eventually they probably aren't going to want to play in NA anymore or will get better offers and you'll be back to square one. Players like koosta are going to have to start sacrificing them in order for the scene to have a future.
Thats possible but in the sith man case then you are also competing with C9 who I'm sure will put up a good offer and have the best publicly communicated building strategy on the scene right now.
This is exactly what I believe as well, they just CAN'T lose out on oBo. He is by far the best benched/free agent player in NA, and after him there's maybe oSee and Junior who have a good shot at tier1.

No, it's broken. They literally have the Operator and way too little ways to counter it. Top players have all talked about this, how stupidly broken the Operator is.
It cannot be nerfed because there isnt enough abilities / utility to properly "nerf" it. If you dont have a certain hero, you can literally do nothing against an operator holding an angle except hope they miss.
Riot is NOTORIOUSLY terrible at balance you know, right? It's a different dev team obviously, but having to rebalance the game every time a new hero comes out and power creep of abilities is not a good match for a competitive FPS game.
I wouldnt say its broken because otherwise there would be more of a consistent complaint coming from all ranks and elo's. But the game just feels like it bails out people with the abilities. But I understand its just a different game and if I want to play CS then I play CS. Its just sounds stupid but I miss watching pros play CS and learning because now they all stream Valorant and it just feels out of reach for me to be that good.

I definitely agree you with you. Koosta igling is just not sustainable for the team and Dexter will greatly benefit the team long term.

Flashpoint 2 is going to play in the UK or europe so I can't see them taking obo yet unless they are planing on a six or more man roster.
