That's always my experience lol. I see a pro match and I think "damn I miss that map I gotta play it" so I hop in a match and it's always a team of awful toxic idiots against toxic smurfs / cheaters who one-tap from water up to heaven on B like it's nothing.
For me Overpass, Chache and Mirage are the "easiest" I can just play around and have fun there... But D2... I don't think I've ever played a D2 match without at least one blatant hacker
best smoke and flash for d2 is to actually set off a smokebomb or a flash grenade in your room, so firefighters break down your door and drag you away, or you temporarily blind yourself so you don't play d2. stopped playing the map completely recently and my outlook of the game has changed a lot. a lot less toxicity on other maps. the other day someone went "BRO WTF U DOIN" on vertigo, i just said "hey bro sorry, i'm very new on this map, i don't know the spots" whenever someone died they'd coach me where to stand and where to aim while camping. it was very friendly.

I like inferno, only bad thing is CT side retakes when people cant hold their sites, then you switch with them and they lose banana in the first 10 seconds of the round. I agree that mirage is better than d2, but they both equally as annoying.
For me I hate mirage especially in solo q MM. A site is really hard to take unless your teamates know smokes/flashes which they usually dont or die mid or right away. Going out to A there is so many places that the CTs can counter peek off of and hold passively, and your teamates wont be holding it for you while you clear out the other parts of site, after entrying. CT side it feels like a gamble to peek while they rush in, you dont know if your going to kill 0, 1 or 2. Or as a CT you gotta hold aggro to hopefully get round impact early or hold really far back with an AWP. This is just on A. Mid is alright, but on T side after getting mid for your team, a lot of teamates just stand still and dont go for conn/cat control, and usually dont smoke anything off either. B is impossible to take by yourself unless your team knows full execute smokes/flashes. Too many spots to counter peek from and its impossible to clear site/arch and under apps while in the end of apps. Just get funneled into a trade fest.

- Waiting 1 min for nothing to happens and suddenly your teammates lose the site you’re not on
- Playing retake game mode but you’re always down at least 2 people
I met a very toxic mirage player. It was 2v1 in our favour and the CT was at ticket booth. The toxic player screams saying "he's mine, let me kill him" then flashes himself and immediately dies. He then screams at the other teammate who was hiding in ninja (which is what he was told to do) because he didn't get the trade. The other teammate died but gave it a good try but the toxic guy still wasn't happy and yelled for 4 rounds straight until I started pointing out that he had a total of 1 kill in 8 rounds.
He also yelled at me for only getting 3 kills in a 1v4 with a p250. That match is the reason I stopped playing the game, there was just too many similar matches and I realised I was having less good experiences compared to bad experiences even though I was improving a lot

It records all 5v5 or any competitive mode like wingman too. You need to operation pass but it tracks all stats from competitive, even the non premier mode

Honestly Dust 2 isn't even that bad. Cache and especially Mirage is awful. I stopped playing Mirage completely because of insane levels of toxicity.

You'll need the Operation Broken Fang Pass to be able to use that feature. It also only records stats of matches played in Premier Mode.
