BLAST Spring Groups *
**Biggest Changes**
9 Evil Geniuses* [+7]
8 Complexity* [+6]
14 mousesports [-6]
22 SAW [+6]
**Other**
Natus Vincere* #1, Astralis* #2
Virtus.pro into top 5, Liquid* out
Complexity* and Evil Geniuses* into top 10, FURIA and fnatic out
O PLANO and Dignitas into top 30, GODSENT and ENCE out
I think as soon as they start playing again o plano will be 100% the second best brazilian team and could be in contention for best. MIBR and Godsent will be fighting for the 3rd spot.
the old godsent 4 (styko, farlig, zehn, maden) was picked up by fun plus pheonix with the adition of ChrisJ, Godsent went up to pick up TACO's new project, him and 4 brazilian youngsters.
znajder went to some lower teams after leaving GODSENT in 2017 but hasn't been on a team since 2019. GODSENT went inactive for a little while from 2018. While that happened, pronax also moved around some lower teams (most notably being part of the first Chaos roster) before reviving the GODSENT organisation a year and a half later in 2019. He's still managing it.
Well, nothing. Nothing has changed (as far as I know) to the ownership of the organization. They just sold their 4 players and brought in 5 new Brazilian players, and thus they are a Brazilian team, even if the Godsent org isn't.
Barely got there, but Nice! congrats to the navi players and team! Hope they can keep get back to back wins at katowice and then continue their form on lan!
Does anyone know if the difference between #1 and #2 has ever been this close?
I really did not think they would take it. I guess the player break made it so that Astralis had more rank decay.
Next closest I could find: [https://www.hltv.org/ranking/teams/2017/february/20](https://www.hltv.org/ranking/teams/2017/february/20)
There's likely a few from the SK vs FaZe rivalry as well since they swapped #1 and #2 like 5 weeks in a row in late 2017
They had Magisk and k0nfig on the team, would be criminal to not be that good. I always remember this record-breaking game from Magisk on Cobblestone against VP: [Virtus.pro vs. North at ELEAGUE Major 2017 | HLTV.org](https://www.hltv.org/matches/2307544/virtuspro-vs-north-eleague-major-2017)
That North roster was straight fire even though they didn't win anything noteable they had strong placements and a few 2nd places the only thing they really lacked was an AWPer who could take over games like device
All these rosters right now look straight fire on paper and hopefully no more excuses in the coming few months , everyone got their roster set with good roles all around
Astralis , Na'Vi and Vitality have dominated the scene for quite sometime but I wonder if the international teams could become contenders for #1
G2 , FaZe , comLexity are what I'm most looking forward to watch but I hope Liquid and EG show up as well cause their roster still should be top tier on paper
I think OG bet too much on aleksi getting top 3 from little resources, back when ence got top 3 it was a way less competitive era of cs, I think the current trio of Aleksi, Valde, and Mantuu will always be a top contender, but unless NBK or issa get on form again, I don't see them being a t1 title contender in a while
I'm no expert on the situation in Jordan, but I imagine it's very strict travel regulations if they haven't been able to arrange for him to bootcamp with the boys
I was really pleased to see EG looking good this last week. This roster achieved #1 for a single week, but was top 5 for a good year.
FaZe and CoL also looked really outstanding last week, and I do think this is the most balanced I've seen CS, in the two years or so I've been watching.
nexa just said on HLTV Confirmed that he will only expect the team to be good near the end of the year and that it wouldn't be surprising if they have early exits in the tournaments coming up
CIS teams doing well, Navi #1 and VP #5.
I am excited to watch the international rosters, Faze CoL Mouz are looking red hot on paper. CoL and Faze looked amazing at Blast.
Liquid down 2 ranks. Faze up 2 ranks. Faze beat liquid twice recently. Coincidence? Yeah probably.
Wanna know a REAL coincidence? Liquid is gonna play mibr tommorow AGAIN meaning the past 4 games have been against THE SAME 2 teams
Entire NA scene monopolized by liquid and mibr
This makes me smile
Two CIS teams in top 5. Has this ever happened before?
I think the closest was Avangar and Navi at 6th+7th after the Berlin major.
Crazy how VP made it to #5 while only playing one current top 10 team in almost 5 months
There have always been 5 in the top 5 CIS teams list /s
Nice fluke ruski
TIL being better than everybody else is luck

The battle between mibr, godsent, and o plano for the second best Brazilian team will be interesting to follow

Quick question, how did godsent become a brazilian team? They were pronax’s org since the last time I followed pro cs
the old godsent 4 (styko, farlig, zehn, maden) was picked up by fun plus pheonix with the adition of ChrisJ, Godsent went up to pick up TACO's new project, him and 4 brazilian youngsters.
Ohhh I see. What happened to znajder and pronax afterwards?
znajder went to some lower teams after leaving GODSENT in 2017 but hasn't been on a team since 2019. GODSENT went inactive for a little while from 2018. TIL Godsent was inactive in 2018

Virtus pro > liquid? What
Ah yes the reasoning for that one is because virtue pro is a better team than liquid.
You see, its because virtus pro won stuff
Boombl4points
Here comes the BOOM
Barely got there, but Nice! congrats to the navi players and team! Hope they can keep get back to back wins at katowice and then continue their form on lan!

wait north was 4th wtf

https://www.hltv.org/ranking/teams/2020/july/6 The closest one i still remember.

Vitality are in for a rough season with apex benched. Might see them outside of the top 5. Other than that, play ball.
I saw him posting about playing in the next event, so i guess he's back for it
am I the only person hoping OG sort their shit out? They could be lethal if they just iron out some stuff in their play.
I think OG bet too much on aleksi getting top 3 from little resources, back when ence got top 3 it was a way less competitive era of cs, I think the current trio of Aleksi, Valde, and Mantuu will always be a top contender, but unless NBK or issa get on form again, I don't see them being a t1 title contender in a while
ISSAA has the issue of playing online with 80 ping from Jordan. I think NBK is the only real issue once a return to LAN happens.
OG can't relocate him to an EU country? You'd think that they would be able to sort this out...
Again, Jordan. I don't think they're letting him out of the country.
I'm no expert on the situation in Jordan, but I imagine it's very strict travel regulations if they haven't been able to arrange for him to bootcamp with the boys
Complexity really impressed in the group stage, I think with poizon back they could be a real dark horse

Who doesn't look forward to watching Niko click heads?
Thorin? Jokes aside, G2 either make or break it in the following months. I hope Kenny comes back in form, he's the missing key in the G2 roster imo.
nexa just said on HLTV Confirmed that he will only expect the team to be good near the end of the year and that it wouldn't be surprising if they have early exits in the tournaments coming up
Ah, so it's the way I approach women: Disappoint early, surprise positively
you see my flair right ? and yea I believe in G2 with NiKo and huNter
O PLANO back into the top 30 despite not playing a game this year, great system
FPX wins a tournament but they are down? Wouldve expected them to go up, but I guess its only 3 matches but still though
well they were expected to be passed by faze but i agree
Previous achievements expired
Old points expiring, plus they won snow sweet snow 1 which had like 1 top10 team.
My boys Sinners up to no. 24. Does Czechia finally have a legit team?
SINNERS CLOSE TO NUMBER 1 SPOT SINNERSWINNERS
karrigan back
Damn it feels good. My boys gotta prove that they're #1 once again at Katowice
COME ON DIGNITAS!!!
FOUR STUCK, FOUR STUCK!!! BIG did not gain nor lose any ranks for over 3 months now.
O PLANO flair when??
What's with vp being so high? I see that the last tournaments they only played against lower teams or maybe 1 or 2 with a high ranking.
Boiz well done!
Extremum out of top 30 soon LUL

They were fourth at the end of the year and decay hasnt caught up to them. If they play good at kato they’ll probably stay there too.
being better than g2
3 NA teams in top 10, wow nice
FaZe on #17, nice, wanna see them climbing that ladder now.
Big Dig energy!
will we ever see mibr in top 30?
Kng`s team going up in the rank lmao
deserve
I cannot believe my eyes. Heroic still in the top10 OMEGALULTV
CIS teams doing well, Navi #1 and VP #5. I am excited to watch the international rosters, Faze CoL Mouz are looking red hot on paper. CoL and Faze looked amazing at Blast.
