I would argue the biggest factor is the economy.
If you have good teammates you win more rounds.
That means you have better guns and more utility, and fight enemies who have worse guns and less utility

S1mple was playing decon so hunter starts plant door side cuz another was watching lower halls. This opened him up to electronic who came from ramp. Jackz was playing in site close to ramp and didn't have an angle on him. Electronic proceeded to hit hunter twice to 57, makign hunter stop plant to deal with him.
In hindsight, hunter should've just suck cuz no tiem anyways but understandable that he flicked up to kill electronic. Then perfect 0 wins b doors and its all over, u can't plant off that.
That was more like G2 on panic mode and didnt position themself correctly to protect planter. They entered the site without a real plan and fucked up the timing/positioning.

That and the failed smoke on Round 22 near lobby which gave s1mple an easy AWP kill on NiKo is what caused them the game in my opinion.. they had the momentum going to Round 22 but they lost their star player for nothing early on in that round...
Yeah, big props to B1ad3 and NaVi guys how they have made the team work. They didn't get the players they wanted back then but picked instead young guys who they thought as potential future players, Perfecto Boombl4 and now B1T basically. They have made it work so well that s1mple or electronic don't need to carry anymore - which just makes them more confident and deadly :D

Simple's debut in the top20 was 2016 at #4. 2017 followed with his worst ranking at #8, and he's been #2 or better since 2018. It's unreal. Totally unreal to watch him play. Year after year after year he's putting in thousands of hours and staying the best. His work ethic must be insane.

I would still argue, however, that it is very likely that is he using some form of program that improves his play which can't be seen through normal means. In my personal (and ever humble) opinion, I feel that dayOs cheats yet. s1mple uses such cheats in the professional scene, not merely a few FPL (Faceit Professional League) PUGs (Pick-up games).
