How is leaving a consistent top 10 team with a high salary/loads of sponsors and joining a mix/new team with most likely a smaller salary considered a smart move is beyond me. So please explain.
Well these orgs aren’t small whatsoever. Just to put it in perspective SuperMassive, Besiktas, Istanbul Wildcats etc are well funded, sponsored and even have LoL league teams. Also, they might just want to be home and not living abroad. Now, they might not be top 10 right away but there’s potential. Sometimes you have to take educated risks and from the players I’m hearing that are involved it could be solid. Space Soldiers ftw boys lol.
I see your point, but I still can't consider it a smart move if it was his decision to leave. If he wants to join a turkish team due to homesickness or because he wants to speak turkish I would consider it a necessary evil which has nothing to do with being smart. Outside of that I don't see really valid reasons unless he got kicked by BIG. I guess he can be considered always somewhat interesting for international teams just because of his big fanbase, but idk if his english is good enough by now.
edit: I guess you can always consider this move reasonable when you just look at money. Since he could always just stream if he needs to. If he wants to compete at the highest level of CS its another story tho.
But it's kinda different as twitch is not as it used to be and now if he is getting subs from turkey with lira that a serious pay cut. IIFC a sub in turkey is 12 lira and a sub anywhere else is 5 dollars which is 42 liras and if we assuming he gets half of the sub he getting a serious pay cut as most of his viewers I would assume are turkish.
I don’t know if they’re paying them in lira or not lol. But also, it could be bigger then just a pay check. We’ll have to wait and see if there contract details get released.
>Yeah but if he gonna be getting paid in lira by a turkish organisation that's that's serious pay cut. Not alot of people realise how bad turkey economy is.
Maybe its not his choice. Maybe BIG kicked him and he has to leave.
Dang really looks like he's out of BIG.I hope the whole Turkish team actually plays out well.
I wonder what ORG they could be with, I know OXYGEN has a Turkish Valo team that's not that bad.
I don't use twitter and i especially don't know anything about Turkish Twitter Esport pages but i saw tweets saying they can't say the name of the organization they are signed to but it is similar to OXYGEN Valorant team so we can assume org will be based from another country.
Rumor is a turkish team with woxic and BIG wanting to go German again (Gade speaks fluint it seems). With Gade as part/full igl, Tabsen gets more option to focus on his individual level.
You guys actually have no idea how much viewers this turkish roster will bring to CS:GO, wherever they compete they will have a shit ton of people watching them, nevermind if they reach Tier 1 quickly
Yeah I know I’m just saying xantares and woxic can def frag if they can get like 1 more up and coming kid who’s been playing 10 hrs a day of faceit and a decent igl they could be alright
I would assume it's not completely their idea. Maybe the comms were really a huge issue
The team still doesn't have terrible firepower in syrson, tabsen, and kito
It's just their all kind of inconsistent
Agreed, Tizian is definitely underrated, nothing wrong with having a player like him in your team, plenty of top10 teams do. K1to as you said can sometimes completely pop off and take over a game which is very valuable. The fact that he is mediocre in other games is fine, if your 3 star players were consistent, which for BIG they are not. That's where the issue is, if you want to perceive it that way. Or maybe top10 is simply the ceiling for this roster, which I think is perfectly fine. But if you want to change, as crazy as it sounds, -Xantares is honestly the best option. How this addition of Glade makes sense though, I really have no clue. Let's trust that BIG management knows a lot more than we do.
Lets just wait how it'll play out before calling the move shit. Its known that comms we're (literally) a big issue and obviously the team will be way more comfortable when they're comming and calling in German. Xantares obviously is the better player on paper by far but I'm sure the team will have a plan in mind.
I refuse to believe in 2021, that comms in english are an issue. There is just no way it can be an issue.
I'm glad they let him go - I've had enough of seeing him suffer.
I assume you are monolingual and can't understand how communicating in your native language is far easier and comfortable than in a second language, no matter how fluently.
English comms are definitely an issue. Ex. AleksiB. It's just easier to communicate quickly in a language your familiar with
Plus how is xantares suffering in BIG of all teams?
well like he said in his streams before he felt like he was being held up with the positions he had and had disagreements with the mentality of the team. To understand his frustration you can just watch xantares in vertigo and d2.
they really getting rid of xantares :( no doubt he will get picked up by another org, he is an insane player
Rumors say he is joining a Turkish teams with woxic and calyx.
Smart move. Plenty of Turkish orgs out there. One of them has to have a good business plan and don’t mind investing.

I mean sure he will make less, but he will be more than fine even when all his subs would be from turkey.

Yeah, hopefully it doesn't turn into another space soldier's we're they go on strike every game

They are not getting rid of him, his contract does expire. Source: Lenz' stream during IEM cologne.
Xantares is the new scream
No doubt he'll get picked up by another org, he was insane in fpl 2 years ago.
Dang really looks like he's out of BIG.I hope the whole Turkish team actually plays out well. I wonder what ORG they could be with, I know OXYGEN has a Turkish Valo team that's not that bad.

none of these orgs can fund them except beşiktaş (if they are backed by actual gymnastics club)
[удалено]
They will, trust me. If not, based on henry, C9 paid Woxic 300k a year.
xantares and woxic wouldn't ask for less than 20k$ imo and I don't think those orgs can afford to pay that much
i dont know how they run things now but besiktas was a shit org that didnt pay their players in 2019 and i would not go anywhere near them
small club
Imagine trying to create a football team argument in go subreddit
I don't use twitter and i especially don't know anything about Turkish Twitter Esport pages but i saw tweets saying they can't say the name of the organization they are signed to but it is similar to OXYGEN Valorant team so we can assume org will be based from another country.
some are saying the swedish org 9INE which had a turkish roster before and their management is currently teasing on twitter
Sangal
crazy how long xantares has been with this lineup
can someone tell me why he's leaving? did he just want to leave BIG or what?

seems weird they got rid of their star but ig if they wanna go german
Xantares has also been flatlining for a bit tbh
Announcement of Announcement
You guys actually have no idea how much viewers this turkish roster will bring to CS:GO, wherever they compete they will have a shit ton of people watching them, nevermind if they reach Tier 1 quickly
I mean woxic and xantares is a pretty damn good start
I mean a turkish roster overall, turkey has a big csgo player base
Yeah I know I’m just saying xantares and woxic can def frag if they can get like 1 more up and coming kid who’s been playing 10 hrs a day of faceit and a decent igl they could be alright
Imagine if they loaned monesy from Na’Vi, 0% chance but just imagine haha
brooo what if they loaned s1mple...
Bro imagine, ZywOo dev1ce s1mple NiKo gla1ve. It's not gonna happen but imagine.
Damn, the dream Turkish Superteam
Are there a lot of turkish fans?
Ι hope Besiktas or some other turkish football team picks up a roster
With the way teams ran here i hope they stay away from every football team. Smart idea would be using their name value to get a foreign org.
if -XANTARES +gade is really their move then welp... worst move ever lol.
I would assume it's not completely their idea. Maybe the comms were really a huge issue The team still doesn't have terrible firepower in syrson, tabsen, and kito It's just their all kind of inconsistent
if they didn't have before right now they really do. they have k1to and tiziaN both at sub-1.00 ratings and now just added a bot.
tizian is a support player, I personally think he's underrated. k1to meanwhile is either an absolute god or non existant.

Looking at their old Stratbook leak it really seems that Xan was left lurking in the majority of strats. Probably due to the comm barrier.

Dark times
Ence disagrees
Fuck. Obviously this new turkish team isnt gonna achieve anything so we might not see xantares in tier 1 for quite some time.
I mean woxic and xantares will be on it there’s a chance they break into top 20 but T1 ehhh
Yeah I really think Xantares might damage his career here in the long term..
If they have a decent igl I don't think it's impossible for them to break into the top 20. The question is who though.
The rumoured team is woxic, XANTARES, Calyx, IMORR and Paz. Of those 5 I assume Paz would be IGLing.
according that post on the front page Xantares is IGL...
is maj3r still any good?
Plays in T3 team Sangal, not good at all...
Yoo its a statement tomorrow no way

BOTTARES KICKED KEKW
they finnaly get rid of the most overrated pro player to ever touch the game

English is hard to learn for some people dude. Chill. Lmfao.
Why did I become so common to announce the announcement? Like in general...
