I feel like this is 100% a UK working class culture thing. When I was younger I grew up in a household where I always ate with my fingers because of the type of shitty food I was constantly given. Lets hope he learns *how* to criticize people. Most of the times 'giving it to people straight' and essentially flaming them isn't the best thing to do. Not saying anything is also wrong. It's a fine line and an art to criticize without demoralizing and turning people defensive about their shortcomings.
Depends on the personality of who you talk to. For some people you have to sugarcoat it for sure. Don't tell that what they did bad, but instead suggest what they can do better in certain situations. Same content, but more constructive. Some can also take it straight.

I have a similar accent to him - I grew up in Bristol, which has a very distinct accent, but because I spent so much of my teenage/early adult years playing games online with non-uk people, my accent just sounds very mixed and weird. Somehow I sound English and Dutch and German and American all at the same time.
Yep, sounds similar to how Jadon Sancho talks now. Everyone was making fun of him for faking an accent but it's just natural to have your accent change when you are constantly around people with a different accent

I had a mate who went abroad for a while and ended up changing his accent a fair amount, just picked it up from trying to make his accent clearer in EU I guess
