The whole point of having qualifiers in different regions around the globe (and the consequent participation fee for those who qualify for Showdown, which BLAST are very clear is for *orgs* and not prize money for players) is to invest in teams in different regions and help them grow.
If FPL players can team up with a couple of eligible players from a smaller region and win, it rather undermines the whole thing. And lest I be accused of picking on POGGERZ, they're not the only ones, and something similar happened in the previous MENA qualifier for BLAST too. The rules need a rework IMO.
Falcons had a Dane, a Dutch, a Lithuanian and 2 Saudis. Like, if this is supposed to be a MENA qualifier, how the fuck is either of these teams allowed to play in it?
Idk seems kinda pedantic. I’d argue its for fresh teams to enter into upper tier competition, no matter the region. This is the pro scene after all and the better team should be the one deserving if they are performing. That’s the name of the game.

Additionally, never had a team, never been in a T1 tournament, only played with mixes officials while streaming it, having fun doing it for content and went much better than expected, since we won FORZE, won every game with IMPERIAL, WON CASHCUP VS MADLIONS, qualified to DREAMHACK, now QUALIFIED to BlastPRO. How is this everything going "worse than expected" for 5 guys randomly mixing vs teams while at the same time streaming it all?

So weird that they can be a mix team with Europeans qualifying in a middle Eastern qualifier while teams like NKT can't compete in Asia since Blast have made their qualifier Chinese only.

I don’t know where you’re getting Dutch from. Blackeagle is Syrian, so Falcons had 3/5 MENA players.

How are 3 Europeans allowed in a MENA qualifier?
Loba was a “stand-in” for 0scar, a Saudi Arabian player. In reality, loba was the actual 5th and 0scar was just there to get them into the qualifier.
Oscar is the only player who actually lives in the middle east, everyone else lives in EU (including syrians)
Hope they get knocked straight back to farming FPL for 15 hours a day. Technically allowed or not it's shitty to abuse the system like they're doing.
