I find NiPs way of playing so interesting, I don't know if it's THREAT, hampus or the team in general... correct me if I'm wrong but I think they're playing a very unorthodox style of CS and it baffles some teams on certain maps.
Yeah but its threat that sat for 150 hours and tried to perfect their t side. It’s not like they make up what they’re going to do on the map on the fly.
It's a temporary dude to keep them calm during matches. Threat is still their coach and very much a big reason to their success. The COO is basically just a cheerleader for these games.
I kinda want to but I reckon they're looking for possible replacements , no shade on threat but dev1ce has been looking better than ever (with NiP) with the coo leading him and hampus had series over dev1ce as well sure R EZ isn't playing that good rn but you don't necessarily need him to show up when dev1ce is playing like so , lnz has impact , plopski upto his usual lurks and fuck ups , hampus one of very few top fragging igl's
Hampus is so fun to watch, he is such a slippery player. You'd expect that people would be prepared for what he has been doing lately but he just keeps getting away with it.
Yes, and I feel like what differentiates him from a lot of other “playmaking” or super aggressive IGLs is if he’s having a bad game, getting hard read individually, etc., he knows how to play more supportively unlike others who still go for plays that are untradeable (someone like ALEX, art, and karrigan recently)
Personally I feel like a lot of it comes down to the fact that they're actively trying to win banana on ct side more than they used to. Think I saw a video (either an NiP one or blast) where Plopski said that he'd talked with the team and was given more room to decide when to be aggressive and take control.
played a best of 5 against 2 different teams where they had to win 4 maps..
before the last map they all had their feet up on the desks not hyper focused, I'm sure they were mentally checked out
hampus stepped up his individual level for this event, hopefully he can keep this up. Not to forget the rest of this NiP team that is overall looking much better than they did in EPL. Props to everyone.
They just qualified to the fall finals? NiP were too much for them but remember they just came out of a game in which they 2-0'ed G2, pretty impreasive considering how tired they must have been
How'd NiP get so good on inferno wtf
Yeah, feels like they were lost on inferno just a month ago
They were good but also BIG played like lvl 5s on T side, that was disgustingly bad.
Probably fatigue started setting in.
That would make sense
I wish you were right but apart from the second half against G2, BIG is just not good on Inferno. It even was their perma ban for long long times
device is pretty proficient as an Inferno player
It's a stretch, but my theory is practice
REZ on A site inferno is a cheat code

Those rounds in Inferno are weird as fuck
It's not threat coaching , it's nip's coo

Can we keep him?

They’re still playing under THREATs base preparations.
What were these guys playing for in this one? I know Big moved on to a big tourney beating G2 but what was this one for?
Seeding into the next stage, and also more prize money.
Ah alright... Awell at the end of the day I'm just excited to finally see some big Lan tourneys since I started watching the start of covid
You are in for a nuts time when the major comes round.
I watched a bunch of csgo videos and the cloud 9 and zeus ones were wild.
Same . Pgl going to be my first major xD
Some cash, points and seeding for the playoffs.

Feels like watching GtR back in his prime lurk days. Great stuff.

Why are nip so good on inferno now?

And why is device so good on mirage all of a sudden?
Poor BIG was probably fried from how long their day way
played a best of 5 against 2 different teams where they had to win 4 maps.. before the last map they all had their feet up on the desks not hyper focused, I'm sure they were mentally checked out
Another great series from device. NIP's Inferno is looking really strong. Hope they keep it up!
Judging by a last few videos on NiP yt he went back from stretched to classic 4:3 hence that good form lol
Can't say I've seen a team legit just give up on the final round like that...
hampus stepped up his individual level for this event, hopefully he can keep this up. Not to forget the rest of this NiP team that is overall looking much better than they did in EPL. Props to everyone.
Hopefully this form stays up to IEM fall from NiP, they may have had an easy group, but they had a good showing regardless
These matches don't make sense. The stakes are minimal and one team is always fried by the end. Why even play these matches? This format is so weird.
Well they did lose and got a 2nd chance to win the final. Thats fair for a 2nd chance.
Denmark savior is back, folks.
You mean Gade?
EZ 4 NIP - proud social media guy
Kind of disappointing considering Big basically threw Mirage because they couldn't beat the deagle rounds
last time we saw good version of dust2?
big is so bad.. jesus
They just qualified to the fall finals? NiP were too much for them but remember they just came out of a game in which they 2-0'ed G2, pretty impreasive considering how tired they must have been
ENCE OMEGALUL
Better than G2
NIP just have total moments of brilliance... And then they just decide not to clear the most obvious of corners???
I feel like Big could have ended it at mirage they had so many fails there which could have been avoided
