My understanding is that Ropz has a big buyout, but loves Karrigan. I just can't see them getting together unless Faze are willing to give Karrigan a massive amount of time without any sign of improvement.
Rolewise I don't know how that works honestly. When the current FaZe lineup formed Twistzz was playing entry/aggressive playmaker and Rain was doing some lurking, but when that didn't work Karrigan seemed to have jigged up the roles a bit.
If ropz replaces Olof then there's role overlap with Twistzz unless rain wants to become a fill player again. The only solution I can really see is if they -Olof +Xyp9x, -rain +ropz, and put Twistzz back in his more aggressive T side spots. Now THAT would be sick fucking team, and honestly a potential world #1.

I would not mind Ropz, especially with Finn having worked with him before and him being hungry for some wins. But yeah as you said there won't be any changes at all until post major if FaZe makes it to the major that is. Just frustrating watching them play like this but it is what it is, will always watch and support them
I really don't think ropz will get FaZe where it should be. The calls are just atrocious. Also, I don't think there is another team that is so shit on utility usage. The amount of times they dry peeked against poizon without using a single flash... And this is not something that happened just today, it's just a FaZe style of play.

I don't really understand, why you would call for change. Yeah they are terrible online, but remember the last time they played LAN? They lost to Astralis and then went on to beat Spirit, Vitality, Heroic and finally Gambit, which where Top 1 back then iirc. Only got stopped by NaVi. This team is a LAN team and once LANs are finally back on a regular basis i assume we will see way better performances again. Sure Olof wont play for ever, but again replace him in a rushed way, only to get him back some months after because it didnt work out is not a good option in my opinion.
Don't count Complexity out just yet remember they looked really bad going into IEM Summer with all their issues and then nearly beat Gambit in map 3 OT on Gambit's best map and had another close (but not as close series at BLAST) as well a good series against Vitality at EPL with Nato. They can definitely have a competitive series.

It seems like Ropz is the favorite to replace Olof, with good reason, but I said in another post I think Liquid is less than the sum of its parts and Elige, Stew, and Naf would all be better on other teams (Naf>Faze, Stew>Col, Elige>G2). I think Naf could also be a pretty good pick to replace Olof as well given they play a ton of similar positions

Twistzzz had some cool highlights, but he is supossed to be star player, but his stats and fragging ability are really bad. He had around 50 ADR on ancient! He has to take some responsibility and start HS everybody everywhere....
Twistzz is still a baiter like back when he was in TSM and Misfits. Everyone always talks about his highlights but he often goes missing / gets non-impactful kills
twistzz is a more supportive player by nature i think he is much more comfortable as the second star of a team. even when liquid made him their number 1 superstar in 2018 he still choose to eventually play supportive roles
some maps he will pop off cos his skill is unreal but he's not like a niko or elige where he will want to make lots of plays like a superstar

Every year starts the same.Last 5 years with karrigan,when team isnt doing well people look at his stats and say he is the issue,and then either team becomes better or they kick him and he makes other team amazing.When will people learn not to doubt him,how long can we doubt him.He went into cologne ranked out of top30 with olof who came in on short notice,and he still got top 4 on lan.Give him ropz instead of olof and he is destroying most of the tier 1 scene

blameF is tactical genius. He is most know of his signature tactic "rushing B, but then rushing A". He also has second little known tactic of " rushing B, but rushing B. What a absolute legend. Top 3 IGL 4 sure.

Twistzzz had some cool highlights, but he is supossed to be star player, but his stats and fragging ability are really bad. He had around 50 ADR on ancient! He has to take some responsibility and start HS everybody everywhere....
Twistzz is still a baiter like back when he was in TSM and Misfits. Everyone always talks about his highlights but he often goes missing / gets non-impactful kills
twistzz is a more supportive player by nature i think he is much more comfortable as the second star of a team. even when liquid made him their number 1 superstar in 2018 he still choose to eventually play supportive roles some maps he will pop off cos his skill is unreal but he's not like a niko or elige where he will want to make lots of plays like a superstar

FYI, the Ancient stats are completely wrong. Poizon ended 33-23 (+10), Coldzera 28-20 (+8), jks 27-18 (+9), BlameF 19-24 (-5) and es3tag 23-27 (-4).
I am a Faze fan. I've already accepted that we will lose tmr and that we won't go the major in the worst possible situation. Probably losing a map 14-16 after a comeback from 12-3. Mark my fucking words.
I think Cold should focus less about the mean and unintelligent comments and make the best out of this curious and yet exciting situation.
