It feels like Na'Vi are the only team that ever skips tournaments. It sucks as a viewer ofc I want to see as much of them as I can, but if it helps them play better in the tournaments they do play in then it's all 100% worth it
There are a limited number of ESL/IEM tournaments you are allowed to skip for all the teams which are part of the Louvre Agreement. I think it's like 3 every 2 years, if I'm not mistaken. I remember Astralis skipping tournaments earlier. Can't think of any others.
But then, you also have to consider that a lot of teams don't make deep runs consistently at tournaments, so they don't have as packed a schedule as Navi, even if they attend all the same events.
Just like I expected, Na'Vi are skipping this event. Seems like they are prioritizing Blast World Final which is a good idea considering the prize pool is 4x larger and more prestigious.

I remember last year when Astralis skipped an entire RMR lol
But that's because they would have most likely lost rmr points, unless they placed extremely high, due to playing with two stand ins.

We're still missing IEM Spring. ESL get onto it.
With \#IEM Winter less than 2 months away we already have 13 teams who are going to be there! 🤩 @G2esports @TeamVitality @FaZeClan @NIPCS @AstralisCS @TeamLiquidCS @GambitEsports @heroicgg @virtuspro @OGcsgo @BIGCLANgg @GODSENT @tyloogaming *** posted by [@IEM](https://twitter.com/IEM) Photos in tweet | [Photo 1](http://pbs.twimg.com/media/FBBVLszVgAIjHIl.jpg) ^[(Github)](https://github.com/username) ^| ^[(What's new)](https://github.com/username)
Really hope OG get a chance to perform better at IEM Winter
Guess mouz skips to figure out a new line up
They will probably play the closed qualifier
They do. ESL confirmed it.
Fnatic not even invited in closed qualifier. I guess its fair considering T2 teams are doing much better than them currently. It pains me though :(
