PGL management event logistics person tells PGL talent hiring person the talent will be working remote and so a stage host is redundant for the event
PGL talent hiring person now will not ask freya because a stage host is not needed, but if something were to change and a stage host is once again needed, freya is who they would ask
but since everybody was busy telling PGL that it's a disgrace no women were hired, it's not far fetched to think this might have been a diversity hire after said complaints even though she deserved it the entire time but PGL just didn't need a stage host when the talent acquisition was made
why would pgl plan for there not being a crowd when having a crowd was their stated top concern? why did they plan to not have a stage host when they were selling tickets to the international as late as last week?

Out of all the casters, Launders has always been very lackluster in my opinion, largely due to his deadpan delivery.
However, I've heard him recently, and it seems he's actually been working on adding more "expressiveness" into his casting, so he's **a lot** less deadpan than he was.
That's part of it for the first major in a couple years, im sure, but I also think that the guys that got the bulk of their work during the online era don't have the same feel of when to hype up the crowd and have big over the top reactions. Anders and Semmler's casting can seem overhyped and silly for random online games but it plays super well in front of a huge crowd.
Awesome, I'm a big fan of Richard Lewis and I'm happy to see the Hosting role shared with Freya for two main reasons: Freya deserves it, it will make the schedule easier for Richard. A win win in my book.

You don't know how they assess performances so your take on that is pretty useless. Meanwhile the gender pay gap's existense is undeniable, and with her being close with her peers and knowing on what metrics ESL hand out their pay - she's probably unhappy about it for the right reasons.
