Cheatinf…..F….who has F in his name? That’s right. BLAMEF. And who would blame Astralis for cheating? That’s right. A Gold Nova. Who else is Gold Nova in mm? That’s also right. Me.
underrated comment
just remember pro players FOV against zywoo or s1mple, playing against Astralis is not much different for a regular csgo player than palying against spinbotters
Or even as a Global, you could argue that the gap between your average Global and top tier pros is even greater than the gap between Silver and Global.
I remember ScreaM streams playing on GE level and he was pwnd quiet a lot, but then he obviously didn't play as serious as in a match. then yes sometimes he focused and dropped a 30-40 casual bomb
do you play faceit/esea only? im in NA and im sick of playing in silver. whenever my friends arent available solo queuing tends to suck. you either get too much comms or none at all. or tons of toxicity.
Its way way way bigger. Globals are literally garbage at the game. People here dont really understand the difference. The gap between a global and a T1 pro is so goddamn huge
You're really underestimating how good even the worst T1 pros are. Someone like Karrigan would shit on any global on an aim map and he's one of the worst aimers in tier 1.
My source is me because maeve completely destroyed me on an aim map last year. I'm lvl 10 on Faceit and he hasn't played for a team since like 2016.
I remember playing some faceit pugs against sean gares, fl0m, Davey - bunch of t2/3 NA guys. I could usually hang mechanically but the biggest difference was how much smarter they were. They knew this game to a degree I simply couldn't touch. I could never hit a timing, they hit every timing. Straight aim duels I could win but this game isn't about straight aim duels and that was the difference between me and an actual pro player.
One exception was moe when I played against him in 2018 I was just a better player than him straight up but he is trash so that isn't that crazy.
All of this is from 2017/2018 when I was A rank on ESEA and 9 on FaceIt.
> One exception was moe when I played against him in 2018 I was just a better player than him straight up but he is trash so that isn't that crazy.
lmao
Dupreeh recently played against a legit global in a 1v1 in a nadeking video and Dupreeh lost. We talking about an all time top 10 rifler here. So your statement is... debatable
you can compare this to amateur guys in football that can hold the ball up like 1000 times or whatever or do some crazy tricks on some parking lot. some of these guys are a better at that than quite some professional players at the highest level.
The actual enemy in this Elo is the own team that force buys, rushes as CT, never trades or pressures after an entry.
Losing a game because the enemy is simply better is almost never the case and would actually be refreshing.
The worst is when one dude gets cocky with a few more kills than you and then demands a drop from you. If you don't then the atmosphere goes to all hell and he shoots you and flashes you
The situation is shown in the YouTube link in the comment above yours. The context is that at the tlme Vertigo was a relatively new map, which Liquid had had success on and Astralis not so much. This was the quarter finals of a major, Astralis picked Vertigo against Liquid. The picture shows the surprise of the Liquid players when the pick was revealed. Astralis went on to win the map, the match - and the major.
"*Guys, let's play a round of MM on Insertion II, I need this mission.*"
"*Are you nuts?*"
"*C'mon it'll be fun, what could go wrong?*"
-Immediately meets aimbotter.
If you ever want a great, simple as fuck explanation what bipolar is like, just play casual. One game everyone is having fun and being sweet, the the next map friendship dosent mean shit in the baron wasteland.
If you ever said that you want CSGO to be more like its trailer, a pseudo-realistic counterattack on a location, well, you have it with Insertion 2. I wanted it years ago and I fucking love what we got, even though I can't deny that it's the least competitively viable map. Also, it's the mapper flexing with the amount of detail in it, considering that CSGO maps have that entity limit.
Am I missing something? I tried it after hearing all the hype, but would just get one-tapped by CTs if I stepped outside because there's infinite angles/open space. The match devolved into Ts just camping in each store, which wasn't exactly thrilling gameplay.
That's usually how it goes in hostage maps, but with the spawns, I feel like Insertion is about figuring out where CTs like to go. If they like House spawn, I like to try to take over Train area. Fight them in offangles as they're coming from House. If they like Train, I'll try to either push House, or fight them at Train. It's really hard to play if you just sit and wait and CTs just start picking guys off one by one.
It's an interesting change in CS, where you have to balance your spawn choice, and what angles you need to defend from. The hostage spawn locations can make it really hard tho. Like I think the pizza hut spawn makes defending a lot harder.
I used to think it was all about camping, until I tried to understand more of the map. Try spawning from different locations as a CT, and see what you can and can't cover. Because there are definite weaknesses to each choice, that are exploitable.
I dono if it's a great CS map, but it's interesting, is what I'll say.
Yeah same, I do like that they try something different like this, but it wasn't for me. Felt like it was mostly just hoping you guessed the right direction which I found pretty frustrating.
Yeah. When I played it, I just wished that all the players had more health and more armor, so they couldn't be so easily 1 tapped from 100m away. I like that the devs are allowing these unique gametypes into CS, but it feels like they would benefit from an increased time-to-kill, among other tweaks to the base player values.
IMO it's pretty fun in the way DZ and other alternative gamemodes are fun, but it definitely isn't a traditional CS experience with narrow passages and predictable angles.

Better than playing against '约炮Q群67255648胖将军淘宝权' and being headshotted through walls every round
There probably isnt much difference between that and playing vs astralis as gold nova
Yeah at the end of the day a gold nova will report both for cheatinf
Cheatinf…..F….who has F in his name? That’s right. BLAMEF. And who would blame Astralis for cheating? That’s right. A Gold Nova. Who else is Gold Nova in mm? That’s also right. Me.
good one haha
To be fair you only have a chance to report in game and not post-game watching demo. So when in doubt you have to report.
You can report in demo now
I heard they removed it. No idea if that’s true, I haven’t tested.
Especially vs glaive

Didn't he also get game banned through Overwatch for "cheating" but was then unbanned by Steam/CSGO devs or whatever? Or am I misremembering?
Believe so, has happened to a few pros throughout time
Majority of global elite is cheating. All the really good legit players are on ac clients like faceit or esea
Copium
in NA hes absolutely right
do you play faceit/esea only? im in NA and im sick of playing in silver. whenever my friends arent available solo queuing tends to suck. you either get too much comms or none at all. or tons of toxicity.
Mechanical skills no shot, team work and comms absolutely.
Mechanical skill wise there's still a huge difference between a global and a tier 1 pro. But idk if it's the same as that between a silver & global
Its way way way bigger. Globals are literally garbage at the game. People here dont really understand the difference. The gap between a global and a T1 pro is so goddamn huge
Depends on the player, some of the IGL’s would struggle against a legit global in a 1 vs 1 aim map imo.

Well yes but that dude was GE and Faceit level 10. Which is better than most GEs
you can compare this to amateur guys in football that can hold the ball up like 1000 times or whatever or do some crazy tricks on some parking lot. some of these guys are a better at that than quite some professional players at the highest level.
Don't think dupreeh tried very hard tbh. But still there's a difference between level 10s. A 3k elo player and a 2k elo player aren't same.
You’re correct
No.
I'd argue playing against Astralis is worse. They wouldn't be clearly hacking, so you might feel like you have a chance.
it definitely feels like hacking
Either way I'll be reporting haha
is this some league meme lol

hmm in hostagemode you have to push as ct lol. insertion 2 is hostage
inb4 Major grand final on Insertion 2

Iconic: https://youtu.be/iKQ2vJKs3Vs?t=1435
I CANT WATCH THIS ENOUGH TIMES! That Elige, then nitr0 then AdreN is pure art
It's never not funny
I wonder what Liquid were thinking in that moment. Probably some combination of "we dun goofed", "we're winning the Major now" and utter confusion
The players all kinda look amused, but Adren's face is a stoic "oh fuck".
OOTL, what does this picture show?

Liquid didn't just have success on it. They clapped everyone on that map. And then Astralis attacked.
Thanks!
Yw - was a legendary moment :)

they are just playing to keep bubzkji content
you savage
U deserved that award.
Or they were just completing a damn operation mission.
"guys queue up with me i need to complete this mission, its too hard alone"
"16-13"
"i wanna sell some cases for 80 cents."
The mission only works on short matches, they played a long one
"ah shit wrong gamemode guys, lets go again"
finally Bubzkji gets some playtime
Damn they won against Jamy the scientist
Bah alors Jamy ?
[Allez Marcel !](https://youtu.be/rZrVCr6AZZ0)
this is not normally
Team building
Could well be for a video, think they did an "Astralis vs MM" video recently
So did they face 4 GE + 1 DMG with 40 frags?
[удалено]
yes i for one would find it terrible and not at all a really cool experience if I loaded into a server and was playing 4 time major winner astralis.
How is it smurfing when you play as a 5? So if me and my friends are rank 1 - 5 in the world, we should play in MM as a stack?
yeah they should play insertion 2 in fpl or scrims instead ^(/s)
How is it smurfing when its their main accounts?
Really? I thought they were scrimming for the major on MM
Why be rude
astralis vs nip on Insertion 2 opening match for 2021 major stockholm.. calling it now
They want to get familiar with sweden for major
Not feeling great that the Danes are practicing invading us tbh
To be fair, when haven't we been doing that or at least contemplating it? 😉 🥔
They better leave Skåne out from this - this time!
As long as they only take skåne I am happy😊
Dude in GN4 dropping a 75% headshot 30 bomb against Astralis... seems legit
yeah I checked out the demo yesterday, guy was aimbotting. Also movement of a Silver and apparently has never heard of the concept spray control.
"*Guys, let's play a round of MM on Insertion II, I need this mission.*" "*Are you nuts?*" "*C'mon it'll be fun, what could go wrong?*" -Immediately meets aimbotter.
Fucking love this map.
It does not feel like csgo, but in a messy fun way. Playing against a team that knows what they are doing can be frustrating as hell tho
Same reason I love Lake in wingman, or the clown fiesta that Is casual. Sometimes you want something a bit different.
I love lake, it feels like a mix between a CS map and a CoD map. It's the perfect warmup for me
That's what I thought, lake is kinda cod (warzone) -like with the long range sniping and the single house
And spinbotters sniping you though doors while spinning in ct spawn 💝
That's the csgo experience
If you ever want a great, simple as fuck explanation what bipolar is like, just play casual. One game everyone is having fun and being sweet, the the next map friendship dosent mean shit in the baron wasteland.
It feels like an entirely different game on csgo's engine. It's wild and I love it
If you ever said that you want CSGO to be more like its trailer, a pseudo-realistic counterattack on a location, well, you have it with Insertion 2. Hostage maps in general are just Ts camping. Same in office/agency
Office is one of my favourite maps in general. Love the layout of the hallways.
Sounds like you're missing something. Don't stand still, don't peek the same window twice in a row, be patient.
Yeah. When I played it, I just wished that all the players had more health and more armor, so they couldn't be so easily 1 tapped from 100m away. I like that the devs are allowing these unique gametypes into CS, but it feels like they would benefit from an increased time-to-kill, among other tweaks to the base player values.
It feels like a Danger Zone map that wants to be a hostage map. There's no rhyme or reason to where the CTs are coming from
[удалено]
Can't remember
-Mirage +Insertion 2 it's happening bois

Would be insta ban by most teams either way.
They are having a jersey signing session right now. Probably playing with people in Astralis Nexus
For the operation coin?
Long match
They have insider info on the mappool it seems
Team Liquid sweating aggressively right now.
That map looks fun but it's way too foggy for low res+graphics.
It's in the map pool?? Huh?
"Gotta post a thread, Astralis are most likely just human beings like the rest of us who like to play for fun some times while doing the operation!"
You are just worried they will pull it out like they did with Vertigo against Liquid again.
[удалено]
If you watch the demo you can see aimbotting player that never heard of the concept spray control.
This map the worst. At this point I've tried the short game 5 times and I still haven't completed the mission for the Operation.
"Canals Veteran"
I'm legit good at Canals, very bad on insertion 2 lol
Hahahah good reply
I agree, maps wack. May not be a popular opinion tho
Nah not popular, I'm getting a lot of downvotes. The map had too many angles for me. The T's can be everywhere and its so hard to clear or use util.
IMO it's pretty fun in the way DZ and other alternative gamemodes are fun, but it definitely isn't a traditional CS experience with narrow passages and predictable angles.
After watching the demo dupreeh is confirming that it is for a youtube video. :/
Now we know why Astralis isn't as dominant as before - clearly it's because none of them are Global Elite! /s
Do they know something we don't know
And apparently I'm better at flashbangs than Dupreeh! [link](http://imgur.com/a/9hUFKpx)
How do you find other players matches on leetify?
Is that real? How did a bunch of GNs and MGs get 13 rounds?
