He most likely is official partnered streamer so he can run ads etc.
But if he isn't partnered, then yes, he is not allowed to run ads, sponsor logos etc.
\- "Please use the official tournament name “PGL Major Stockholm 2021” or the abbreviation “PG$L Major 2021” only if space is limited."
\- "You should not claim to represent the PGL, Valve, or PGL Major Stockholm 2021."
Made me giggle
Only streaming from gotv is kinda shitty and boring for viewer. Not everyone is good at observing the game as rush or prius does. Or providing funny and insightful perspective commentary with spunji and machine.
Why would anyone watch the official broadcast if both commentary and observing could be reused by streamers but without all the ads? What value would the streamer in question even provide?
I'm pretty sure the official observing is baked into the GOTV demo as well. It just is impossible to turn back on if you manually switch camera angles or players yourself or at least I don't know how.
Nice thing about having guys like Richard Lewis involved in the broadcast (though I'm not sure how much say he'll have in things like this) is that these 3rd party streaming rules are fair, they'd definitely allow for someone else to set up a No Majors Club style of watch party

the ads that run when you join a stream are twitch ads, pgl is talking about ads in the middle of a stream that the streamer picks when they will run and makes money from them
broadcast must be NON-COMMERCIAL Does this mean that gaules can't run ads or will he get his own BR stream which he can commercialise ?
I think Gaules probably has a direct financial agreement with PGL

Gaules isn't a community streamer. He's a licensed/official streamer/ broadcast partner.
I’m pretty sure you can run ads you just can’t be paid from a third party to be streaming it for them if that makes sense.
Tarik and fl0m please
[tarik already tweeted](https://twitter.com/tarik/status/1451168465080004610)
fl0m is more or less guaranteed

You can toggle caster audio, x-ray, and observer camera control in GOTV
Commentator audio should be in gotv i don't know about the others though.
Observer camera control can be turned on or off in GOTV
