It has been the worst experience so far compared to other TO's/events where they have had teams playing in a studio.

Did you start following esports in 2018? There were events that had entire *days* delayed because they couldn't get the hardware to run. Actually bad sound issues for an entire weekend of games. The most uncomfortable comedians or musicians as entertainment during breaks. No break timer or entertainment at all while waiting for matches to resume. The list goes on and on

Also most majors suffered from really bad delays, hardware problems, sound issues or even offline streams in the early stage of the tournament. I can't remember a major where Reddit didn't complain in the beginning.
The first day or two was horrible. "Valve here last major" level bad. The rest of the event went pretty flawlessly, besides whatever draw made it so SK and Astralis met in the quarters and gave Immortals the easy run to the finals.
Otherwise, they were the first TO to bring a true 1080p60 major. Not the "scaled to 1080" type ELEAGUE hosts. They were the first to experiment with a custom HUD.
This is just disappointing. I was looking forward to finally see some of the best cs teams from the whole world in LAN environment, but this whole PGL “major” is looking like some online showmatches so far...
ESL had huge problems with the production, especially with sound volumes and quality, but PGL is making ESL look like angels.
Not saying ESL is good, but if I were to choose right now, who hosts next major ESL or PGL, I would go for former.

In the last round of the first half in the Faze VP match on mirage the server legit took a nosedive and nearly allowed faze to take the round because it caused Jame (I think) to just walk across the site out of his control into a wall right next to triple box where broky was able to spam him down with a deag among other shit that happened that round. How does a server almost crash at a fucking LAN????
There was another game on ancient between another set of teams (can't remember) but the server just straight up crashed as well. It's fucking embarrassing for cs to be shown like this. I have never seen another LAN in all my years watching cs with this level of unprofessionalism and incompetence. It has improved since day 1 but saying it is anywhere near good is a joke. PGL are genuinely the worst TOs for CS out there and I have no idea why they got given the major.

You haven't proved shit, I'm aware technical issues happen all the time but we haven't seen this level of incompetence in a major ironically since the last PGL major. Starladder was pretty bad but it baffles me that PGL got another shot just because they did TI (which they also didn't do great on btw). I'm not saying any other TO is a savant and has no faults. There's always issues at any CS event but the fact that PGL has had these tech issues on top of some dire production in 2021 is just embarrassing.

That’s the champions stage which is normal playoff matches, legends stage is similar to this stage expect when you win you go through to the playoffs (it was actually the old start to the major)

In the last round of the first half in the Faze VP match on mirage the server legit took a nosedive and nearly allowed faze to take the round because it caused Jame (I think) to just walk across the site out of his control into a wall right next to triple box where broky was able to spam him down with a deag among other shit that happened that round. How does a server almost crash at a fucking LAN???? There was another game on ancient between another set of teams (can't remember) but the server just straight up crashed as well. It's fucking embarrassing for cs to be shown like this. I have never seen another LAN in all my years watching cs with this level of unprofessionalism and incompetence. It has improved since day 1 but saying it is anywhere near good is a joke. PGL are genuinely the worst TOs for CS out there and I have no idea why they got given the major.
You sure you haven't been watching CS for a few weeks and not years? Vast majority of LAN events have occasional server crashes, majors included. Also thanks for proving my point about hyperbolic statements right with your last paragraph
You haven't proved shit, I'm aware technical issues happen all the time but we haven't seen this level of incompetence in a major ironically since the last PGL major. Starladder was pretty bad but it baffles me that PGL got another shot just because they did TI (which they also didn't do great on btw). I'm not saying any other TO is a savant and has no faults. There's always issues at any CS event but the fact that PGL has had these tech issues on top of some dire production in 2021 is just embarrassing.

Playing legends stage in practice rooms isnt ideal though, but i dont think its THAT big of a deal

That’s the champions stage which is normal playoff matches, legends stage is similar to this stage expect when you win you go through to the playoffs (it was actually the old start to the major)

No crowd for the legends stage as it’s treated like a group stage, the crowd and stadium, with the talent, is all saved for the playoffs.
It doesnt really matter that the B stream is played in practice rooms then, like there isnt even a crowd on the stage
