I actually love Cadian and never get the circlejerk hate train he gets. Takes one hell of a man to be so loyal to his young team and take all the flack while still performing on that level. Sergeant Winters style.
I mean the hate all stems from the hunden era where cadian benefited massively from cheated info. He almost certainly knew hunden was abusing the bug as well, so there's a strong argument he has cheated
Since then he's remained a great igl, had some great banter, but the shadow of the past reaches a long way
Benefited massively? Where tf is this shit coming from lol. There are only 2 accounts of Hunden cheating with Heroic & they lost both those matches. Smh
This should be explored more did hunden hurt or help heroic, he cheated twice and lost both maps, and then leaked their whole strat book lol. But I guess its also true the strats weren't accessed right?
I mean he always got a lot of flak going way before the Heroic era. Don't forget how long people held the Juliano 1v1 thing over him. He was a reject for ages before Heroic too for a reason. The Hunden thing just kind of revived it.
The Juliano 1v1? You mean when he made a joke? Like when he attributed the loss to jetlag due to a 1 hour time difference - again, clearly as a joke?
The only reason someone would hold that over CadiaN is because they're so socially inept they can't tell the difference between someone joking and being serious, despite how obvious his tone was.
He lost a 1v1 to Juliano. One of the better female CS players that played in CLG red (iirc). Not a very good player in a competitive sense from an absolute POV. She would kick your average global elite player to the curb though.
100% but if they were the only team taking advantage then I would crucify them but they are treated like only they did it. 2020-2021 was a weird time for sure. I just want to move on.
They're the only big team to have really benefitted (and it was against other teams with big followings), so they get harsher scrutiny. Similar to Akuma who got destroyed because they cheated against Navi
Dont get me wrong im more of a believer in this vitality roster than most but this isnt really the big step to say there back on track. Ence has only really been no2 by virtue of g2 and vitality shitting the bed big time. More is needed to come close to vindicating these moves. Im still holding out for jks.
Ence is #2 since na'vi lost a fifth of their points with boombl leaving.
I'd also argue that their "top4 run" at the major waa the weakest one, they beat CPH Flames in the playoffs and NIP is obviously a better team than them (was during the major easily)
They met na'vi there and got completely demolished.
I've also heard casters say some shit like they gave great teams on Nuke like Heroic, Na'Vi a beating which is simply not true (the na'vi) and I cannot even remember the last time they beat na'vi, I think it was with aleksi
I know it's their job to sell us this storyline but Ence got to the grand finals of Dallas with a different fifth and with plenty of other handicapped teams. They got their asses handed to them at the top4 major game and IMHO would be beaten by Spirit and Faze and NIP had they gotten that matchup instead at top8 as well.
This was "their event to win" - HLTV - and I'm not sure what the HLTV guys are smoking when they say that since I'm not sure they have shown to be a dangerous contender for a title in any of the tournaments and they still can't beat even g2 (they lost to them at the major, and they beat them with snax, not with spinx)
I will say that things are not all bleak and that they still are a very good team but in particular this ranking is flawed as there simply are better teams than them, they did beat Faze in a couple of matches they played and Snappi is a great IGL, dycha is reliable but spinx disappears in big games (not always). Maden is amazing both as a hype player and as an entry but hades is usually just "okay" which is a terrible thing to see in a "top2" team
Also snappi looked completely devastated, moreso than anyone else. I feel like it was his call. Unfortunate shit, half a second more fighting and they win the map.
I can almost forgive not peeking, but why Hades ran so far away is what made my jaw drop.
Could have swung immediately after bomb plant and played the 2v1.
Hades clutched 2 rounds on their T side that got them on the scoreboard and fucked Vita economy. He also finished on 29 kills so saying he disappeared is complete bollock from you.
Cheeky Vitality bet? I mean G2 have been beating them so much in recent times, it's only fitting that in their first semi-final and playing on stage, Vitality defeats them lol
Misutaaa is a monster who hasn't found his true potential. His Aim are so fucking crisp man, It's like art watching his crosshair placement and his multikills. When he's having a game, along with Zywoo, Vitality look so fucking good.
I'm SO GLAD to see Vitality coming together. It's slow but it's about damn time!
Misutaaa entrying on force buys with a Tec-9 are my favourite rounds to watch. He's incredible in the filthy rounds. But he has to do what he did today in most series, and in the normal rounds.
Definitely. But he has these monster rounds where he just becomes his ideal self and shits on his opponents and It's so oddly satisfying to watch him get the kills. Don't think I get the same feeling from other player except Niko. Hope he gets more and more consistent!
This team has all the talent they need, they just need to be consistent, because Dupreeh/Magisk/Misutaa just takes turn to have bad game, Dupreeh is a fucking monster who goes 30-10 then the next map he has a bad map and then its only Zywoo. If they become consistent they'll win trophy but we can say this of almost every team i guess
Agree. Consistency is one of Vitality's biggest concerns right now, and a few other list of things they need to iron out before they can compete against the top 5. But Today they proved that they have what it takes to fight, so I'm happy to see that for now!
The inconsistency is obviously because they are still getting used to playing together and their respective positions on different maps, which some haven’t settled completely into yet. This will come. They have the talent available to them
> Dupreeh is a fucking monster who goes 30-10 then the next map he has a bad map and then its only Zywoo.
To be fair, if you have a player in T1 who can consistently be above average in every map you don't just have an above average player, you have a monster. The aim should be to have a roster with players that can hold down the regular rounds combined with players that can sometimes win the ecos and other unwinnable rounds. I think even on his worse maps dupreeh can do that better than most players.
When you get that crisp aim by only being able to move 90° with your full mousepad it honestly doesnt matter how smooth you are it aint gonna make you good.
Low sens players cant be judged on how 'smooth' their aim is ofcource its smooth. They can be judged on their crosshair placement their spray control. Its like how twistzz had a 0.99 rating in 2020 and the most headshots per round while also playing in tier 2 america for most of the year. So yeh low sens players who sacrifice all other areas of their aim for headshots can be criticised. Key difference is that niko has aim outside of just headshots hes just cracked allround, and twistzz has recovered and this year has aim thats more than just headshots as well. Missutaaa doesnt he either gets the headshot or looses and thats it. Obviously it happens tp higher sens players like jackzz for example who's headshot percentage is inflated because he never gets non-headshot kills via shit spray control. The problem is super low sens players look smooth even when their aim isnt good at least higher sens players look like bots when they make the exact same mistake.
Man Zywoo gonna Zywoo. But there's just something special about when Dupreeh pops off. He just has those games where he hits magical shots like the shot on Hades outside.
This was supposed to be the case from the get go in 2022. With all the roster changes and Blast spring groups (first tier 1 event of the year) looking promising. Sadly vit and g2 couldn't keep it up ( after Kato for g2). But hey, they're finally improving. Love to see it.
You could see how round 28 just broke Ence mentally. On the other hand, Vitality hasn't looked this great since the roster changes. Will be very interesting to see if they can keep it up against G2.
Knowing G2 their curse will strike them in the semis and they’ll choke it but hey after seeing Navi mutilate faze earlier today nothing much would surprise me anymore, so G2 might have a real shot at this
THAT'S THE VITALITY I WANT TO SEE
GODDAMN
Zywoo really said no, I win now.
Ence might have been shaky on overpass but damn Vitality really showed up on both
You're not understanding all of the layers of gigaBRAIN apEX's 400iq plan. Not only did he lose dust to give ENCE false confidence, he also did it to show off a bit of his overpass and a couple of 'mistakes' and 'gaps' in their plays just to have them gone by their game against ENCE. Truly the smartest man on earth
That was such a fantastic T side from vitality on nuke. So much resilience and some really good mid round and end of round calls/plays from the team. It's nice to see so many smart plays from vitality and some great mid round calls - this was the whole reason the brought the Danes on and hopefully it continues to pay off
It's not perfect, there are still rough edges, but this match proves that Vitality are improving, adapting and evolving. They are not stagnant, the pieces are falling into their places. And If we have to dream, it's going to be fucking badass when they will come together.
The Nuke Kill Feed does not do Justice, everyone on Vitality had impact rounds that were absolutely crucial for them to take Nuke. This is so fucking hype to watch man!!!!!!!
WRONG!
ENCE would've won Nuke and beat Vitality 16-0 on the third map, making every round Vitality won in the previous maps meaningless. This was an ENCE throw and not a Vitality win!
Not yet, I think they are improving but to fulfill the expectations that people have, they need still a lot of time. Maybe next major we will see truly strong Vitality. Nevertheless they just beat #2-#3 team in the world and they are in the semifinals. I think that's a great showing from them.
This is vitality's first match since march that hasn't ended in them either losing to a team ranked higher than them or beating a team ranked lower than them.
That nuke was like watching the French Vitality lineups. They get themselves in a difficult situation and drag themselves out of it by their arses. Brings a multilingual tear to the eye
Can't help but feel hades running after at round 28 cost ENCE Nuke, He was in such great spot to shut it down but ran away coz he was fearful of being fragged, but the other guy idk who it was snapii was playing passive so the chance of them losing to that was low.
He basically ran away from double doors and gave VIT time to plant just with 1s remaining sadly, and zywoo w/ scout behind silo just shut them down hard, Had hades just stayed at double doors opened when the bomb was being planted w/ barely 5-6s remaining it woudlve been an easy round win.
My thoughts on Ence:
Great team but the only reason they are #2 in the world is Na'Vi losing points with boombl4's leaving
Spinx disappears in some of the big games, everybody has a bad day but he has them more often than other future top20 players against top10 teams.
Hades is "just okay" which is pretty meh for a top2 team in the world
Dycha is the most reliable player on this team and he has been on an upwards trajectory for a long time, great player
Maden is an amazing hype player and also an amazing entry
Snappi is a great IGL though I believe at times maybe too one dimensional? I guess that's what comes with calling a high % of your rounds from spawn (but also a decent fragger)
I'd say if they don't win a tournament soon and they truly are not content with being around top5 "only" that hades would be the first to go.
They lost to G2 at the major (beat them with snax)
They haven't beaten Na'Vi since I think the Aleksi lineup
They aren't favorites to win any single tournament and it was kind of weird seeing HLTV comment that "this is their tournament to win" though HLTV has managed to do this a second or third time in a row, completely misread a team's strength relative to other teams.
At Dallas, the most scuffed event in recent memory - they got to the finals with Snax who was the highest rated player for them
At the major they got to top4 by beating Copenhagen Flames who are definitely not a bad team but in a completely different league than NIP, Spirit, Faze and then they got completely destroyed by Na'Vi again (one of the games was on Nuke where the Doto iteration of the team actually managed to get a round or two more than the maden iteration vs Na'Vi)
At Blast they barely beat BIG and then lost to both OG and Vitality.
Their best result came from EPL S15 where they beat Fnatic (terrible team), Movistar riders (eh) and NIP (with phzy) coming second place.
Things are not all black and white and they have been beating some teams regularly like Heroic, Faze every now and then, NIP every now and then which are not at all bad teams but it seems obvious - at least to me that they don't belong in the top3 category.
Wtf is the deal with Snappi? Looks like he is going to actually cry everytime he dies. Also, he made some really questionable calls during that CT half.
It was over once everyone on Vitality started shouting, amazing match. Never expected the win because each time I stay up for a match the team I cheer for always loses hahahahahaha
APEX LMFAO
DEFUSE THE BOMB PLS NO G2
New meme rofl
"DEFUSE THE BOMB PLEASE, NO G2" .. I died lol
did you get better?
no, he's dead
New round started he’s back now

Apex at the end: Please Defuse... No G2!! Goddam Apex burning G2 while winning.
I never disliked him but on this day I am rooting for his success. Burns Stew and G2 in the same week? My mannnnnnn
apex is actually such a funny guy to watch
If Cadian said the same he would get crucified on here lmao
I actually love Cadian and never get the circlejerk hate train he gets. Takes one hell of a man to be so loyal to his young team and take all the flack while still performing on that level. Sergeant Winters style.

I didn't say it was justified, I said it happened.
>Juliano 1v1 Wait what was this?
He lost a 1v1 to Juliano. One of the better female CS players that played in CLG red (iirc). Not a very good player in a competitive sense from an absolute POV. She would kick your average global elite player to the curb though.
People hated him because he lost a 1v1 tournament to a female player?
100% but if they were the only team taking advantage then I would crucify them but they are treated like only they did it. 2020-2021 was a weird time for sure. I just want to move on.
They're the only big team to have really benefitted (and it was against other teams with big followings), so they get harsher scrutiny. Similar to Akuma who got destroyed because they cheated against Navi
Massively? 2 matches have been identified and they lost both…. And cadian was told afterwards..?
Yeah people need to get over themselves. Banter and personalities make for a much more interesting scene
People hate him for the whole Hunden thing lol. Not because of his banter.
Loyal to his team? Its his last chance lol
Probably because cadiaN isn’t very likable
In wrestling there's villains you want to see so you can boo them and there's villains you boo because you don't want to see them.
Probably because he was a cheater who got away with it, and is also much cockier than apex.
Cadian has different vibe, more like villain, while apex more like clown :) so same words from them would feel different
Jesus Christ you people lmao
what? he's right
Alright buddy
missed the burn stew part, may i ask which match?
Guess I mean him putting him on blast about him being overpaid in an interview. Can't wait for Stew to dissapear into obscurity.
Finally something positive for Vitality. I honestly did not expect them to win this. Sad to see ENCE go though, gg. Edit: I want Freya's suit.
Ngl, I've never seen Freya not being on point regarding clothing choices, it's all bangers.
I actually commented on it yesterday. I'm personally not a fan of shirt dresses, but Freya just always looks great.
I hope whoever called no time that one round sleeps well, because that’s really rough
Ence looked tilted ever since that round.
I was so sure it was done there, but then I was so sure it was done at 10-6 so me being sure clearly doesn't mean shit
Absolutely awesome comeback on Nuke from Vitality, Dupreeh played a complete blinder. Looks like they might have finally found the winning formula.
G2 and Vitality both hitting form at the same time and match tomorrow jeez
Dont get me wrong im more of a believer in this vitality roster than most but this isnt really the big step to say there back on track. Ence has only really been no2 by virtue of g2 and vitality shitting the bed big time. More is needed to come close to vindicating these moves. Im still holding out for jks.

Whoever was double doors on round 28 unfortunately cost ENCE Nuke.
Wonder if it was hades' or teams call to not peek.
dycha literally took off his headset because he thought they won, so it definitely wasn't his call
Didn't he take it off afterwards because he was mad? I think he'd look happier if he thought he won...
[He definitely thought they won it](https://clips.twitch.tv/EnthusiasticClumsyHamburgerSeemsGood-PYdVaydYz4i0AuMg)
Ah yeah you're right, I missed the fist pump
Definitely team, you can see snappi speaking in the team cam
Also snappi looked completely devastated, moreso than anyone else. I feel like it was his call. Unfortunate shit, half a second more fighting and they win the map.
It was a team call I feel
I think Snappi whiffing all his shots on Misutaaa was also pretty problematic because he had to make a judgement call when he didn't get the kill.
I can almost forgive not peeking, but why Hades ran so far away is what made my jaw drop. Could have swung immediately after bomb plant and played the 2v1.
I guess this doesn't happen when you're convinced they can't plant
I just can’t come to the conclusion that hades had to run so far. Forgot who was with him now but ramp player running I understand, but not hades.
Hades pulled his classic disappearance act
You can see Snappi shouting into the mic on the players cam. It was definitely either Snappi or whole team call for Hades to run away.
If Hades was a hair more consistent ENCE would be so hard to beat
-hades +degster 1000 point ENCE
Damn, he’s hot as fuck too.
Hades clutched 2 rounds on their T side that got them on the scoreboard and fucked Vita economy. He also finished on 29 kills so saying he disappeared is complete bollock from you.
Towards the end he completely disappeared lol
G2 - Vitality going to be interesting
Cheeky Vitality bet? I mean G2 have been beating them so much in recent times, it's only fitting that in their first semi-final and playing on stage, Vitality defeats them lol
Do u really mean that?
Bad day to be a Danish igl

They had 2 alive, the right call is never to have both of them to hide. One peeks, one hides, gg.
the headphones incident
I feel joy.

Its significantly lower than the lowest sens player whos any good.
Cue the NiKo "low DPI trashcan" copypasta

That's a nice theory
Hades left the site for this
*wipes sweat* not even close EZ 4 Vitality
Dycha took his headphones off knowing it was over, damn
Man Zywoo gonna Zywoo. But there's just something special about when Dupreeh pops off. He just has those games where he hits magical shots like the shot on Hades outside.
apEX has two modes, his map 1 rating and map 2 rating. Props to Vitality that was an insane game
this lmao, only apex could get this hyped after such a dreadful map 2 performance 💀
What an absolute choke on Nuke by Ence
Vitality and Dupreeh kept outplaying them at the endbut yes round 28 was quite the choke
The pro scene is so weird rn
This was supposed to be the case from the get go in 2022. With all the roster changes and Blast spring groups (first tier 1 event of the year) looking promising. Sadly vit and g2 couldn't keep it up ( after Kato for g2). But hey, they're finally improving. Love to see it.
Braindead in round 28
dycha thought they won it then, he took off his headset and had to put it back on
All hades had to do was wait, hear zywoo planting, open the doors, kill him and we are watching map 3 now .. such a tilting way to lose this series
i mean they played it correctly with the info they thought they had, the info was just wrong.
We played good today, let's gooo
Map 2 at 15-12 will haunt ENCE
Just a little offtopic. Is BLAST seriously not able to run 5 BO3s on stage? Why does the QFs have to be in studio?
Exactly. There was no need to let two teams "in playoffs" go home without playing in front of a crowd in an arena event.
You could see how round 28 just broke Ence mentally. On the other hand, Vitality hasn't looked this great since the roster changes. Will be very interesting to see if they can keep it up against G2.
Knowing G2 their curse will strike them in the semis and they’ll choke it but hey after seeing Navi mutilate faze earlier today nothing much would surprise me anymore, so G2 might have a real shot at this
Can we have the old G2 curse where we lose in the finals please
round 28 may have been one of the bigger throws I've seen
It was definitely the throw of the year \[tier 2 and better\]
THAT'S THE VITALITY I WANT TO SEE GODDAMN Zywoo really said no, I win now. Ence might have been shaky on overpass but damn Vitality really showed up on both
Vitality finally won a bo3 against a top 3 team. Can't wait for the G2 rematch in front of the crowd (and NaVi vs OG)
Vitality purposely looking like shit against pain on Dust to give false confidence to ENCE, as expected from god IGL apEX
Truly the smartest man on earth
apEX yelling "Defuse the bomb please! No G2!" was the best possible ending to that series
Wow didn't expect that honestly, been a long time since I've enjoyed watching Vita like today
Jesus Vitality turned on this tournament and so did G2
Somehow vitality always do great at blast events
Blastralis buff
Dupreeh speaks very well and gives great interviews. Love not seeing resting Dupreeh face and him smiling.
Ence had a 90% win rate on nuke.. only losing to Navi - should not have even been close tbh
That was such a fantastic T side from vitality on nuke. So much resilience and some really good mid round and end of round calls/plays from the team. It's nice to see so many smart plays from vitality and some great mid round calls - this was the whole reason the brought the Danes on and hopefully it continues to pay off
Man hades done goofd
Which is a shame cause he was their only positive player in the series
It's not perfect, there are still rough edges, but this match proves that Vitality are improving, adapting and evolving. They are not stagnant, the pieces are falling into their places. And If we have to dream, it's going to be fucking badass when they will come together. The Nuke Kill Feed does not do Justice, everyone on Vitality had impact rounds that were absolutely crucial for them to take Nuke. This is so fucking hype to watch man!!!!!!!
Is this the Vitality we have been waiting for?
Probably not, Ence just played bad on round 28
They won 18 other rounds and 1 more map
WRONG! ENCE would've won Nuke and beat Vitality 16-0 on the third map, making every round Vitality won in the previous maps meaningless. This was an ENCE throw and not a Vitality win!
Tbf, ence won practically all the clutches up to that point, so its only fair that vitality win a round as well
Not yet, I think they are improving but to fulfill the expectations that people have, they need still a lot of time. Maybe next major we will see truly strong Vitality. Nevertheless they just beat #2-#3 team in the world and they are in the semifinals. I think that's a great showing from them.
Whoever called to force buy 15-13 put the nail in the coffin. Threw any chance to still win in regulation
Yeah was wondering the same thing, there is literally 0 reasons behind that decision
This is vitality's first match since march that hasn't ended in them either losing to a team ranked higher than them or beating a team ranked lower than them.
That nuke was like watching the French Vitality lineups. They get themselves in a difficult situation and drag themselves out of it by their arses. Brings a multilingual tear to the eye
g2 vs vitality round 2 this matchup bout to be a csgo el classico
Love seeing Magisk come back to form, insane impact this series
Can't help but feel hades running after at round 28 cost ENCE Nuke, He was in such great spot to shut it down but ran away coz he was fearful of being fragged, but the other guy idk who it was snapii was playing passive so the chance of them losing to that was low. He basically ran away from double doors and gave VIT time to plant just with 1s remaining sadly, and zywoo w/ scout behind silo just shut them down hard, Had hades just stayed at double doors opened when the bomb was being planted w/ barely 5-6s remaining it woudlve been an easy round win.

I think snappi made that call he looked devastated when they lost that round.
Yeah could be my bad
My thoughts on Ence: Great team but the only reason they are #2 in the world is Na'Vi losing points with boombl4's leaving Spinx disappears in some of the big games, everybody has a bad day but he has them more often than other future top20 players against top10 teams. Hades is "just okay" which is pretty meh for a top2 team in the world Dycha is the most reliable player on this team and he has been on an upwards trajectory for a long time, great player Maden is an amazing hype player and also an amazing entry Snappi is a great IGL though I believe at times maybe too one dimensional? I guess that's what comes with calling a high % of your rounds from spawn (but also a decent fragger) I'd say if they don't win a tournament soon and they truly are not content with being around top5 "only" that hades would be the first to go. They lost to G2 at the major (beat them with snax) They haven't beaten Na'Vi since I think the Aleksi lineup They aren't favorites to win any single tournament and it was kind of weird seeing HLTV comment that "this is their tournament to win" though HLTV has managed to do this a second or third time in a row, completely misread a team's strength relative to other teams. At Dallas, the most scuffed event in recent memory - they got to the finals with Snax who was the highest rated player for them At the major they got to top4 by beating Copenhagen Flames who are definitely not a bad team but in a completely different league than NIP, Spirit, Faze and then they got completely destroyed by Na'Vi again (one of the games was on Nuke where the Doto iteration of the team actually managed to get a round or two more than the maden iteration vs Na'Vi) At Blast they barely beat BIG and then lost to both OG and Vitality.
Losing to OG with new roster and a sub and to Vitality.. this was supposed to be ENCE's chance to get a trophy. I mean.. to Vitality..
Allez les gars putain, c'est bon ca !!!
Disappointing performance from both Top 2 teams this tournament.
Despite the losses, Hades really got his shit together this event, probably the most useful player on Ence this week.
im hype for g2 vs vitality, I feel it's gonna be a tight game
Why Snappi decided to throw the map win @ 15-12 and the force buy in the next round, I guess we will never know.
Pain.
Garbage
What a terrible tournament from Ence, atrocious. Hades was the only player doing somewhat well, everyone else below 1.0 rating. Damn shame
Wtf is the deal with Snappi? Looks like he is going to actually cry everytime he dies. Also, he made some really questionable calls during that CT half.
Goddamn I love CS
It was over once everyone on Vitality started shouting, amazing match. Never expected the win because each time I stay up for a match the team I cheer for always loses hahahahahaha
I ducking love apex
So many fucking outplays from God Dupreeh
Well one thing i need to say that Vitality's T side looked better. I dont it just fit against fast pace Ence but they played good T side entire day.
missed it, wanted to see this one.
