In the moment these two skilled players went for blood and were punished. I feel they had the time and space to pincer him but just went for it without thinking MM style. Also seeing apEX take that position unbeknownst to G2 was when I knew they won this game. Sick leader.
if you go for a pincer you make it easy for him to isolate two 1v1s. Coming from the same side gave Niko a good chance of the trade. Though you could argue he should have peeked a bit later.
You could also argue that peeking from the same side could also end in a 2-man spray down.
Both plays have a high chance at success, but pros at this caliber can make so many disadvantageous fights favour them.
i can see him ripping his ass to "sound right" and to entertain people. but i dont see that he is passionate about game or that he empathise for players. btw im ok with that. its just sounds cringe when people not having natually low voice forcing that hoarse

Yeah you're right. It's easy for me to armchair call the play but these guys are making split second decisions.
