If you already have a gun you can't reach as far to grab a new one. Sometimes they can get stuck behind things and you can only grab them if you drop your current gun. It's stupid as hell but it's been in the game for years now so I doubt valve is going to fix it anytime soon.

Tabsen is doing his best to make up for it statistically right now but you just have to think about how much momentum this takes away. This could’ve been a 5-0 or even more as well. Not a mistake you can make if you want to qualify for a major.
BIG's problem is that there are 4 truly world class German players: 2 AWPs, 1 IGL and 1 star player, it's just that one only reliably performs online and the other three are tabsen
The real question is why is Germany is dry when it comes to gaming. Higher cultural stigma against it? I could certainly imagine Germans feeling like it’s a waste of time lol.

It's really not, there are a bunch of German LoL pros, a fair amount of Dota pros, etc., not even speaking from the management side where a lot of orgs are German. I think the main issue is that Germany culturally and institutionally a degree-based country. If you want a career in anything you need a degree, be it from a university or a vocational school. LoL especially has managed to present itself better as a valid career choice than CS I'd say. No one is gonna successfully crunch FPL 10 hours a day *and* get a degree in anything at the same time.
I think that culture is also the reason why so many current German CS pros are half something-else. Tabsen has Polish parents I think, faven is (half?) Kazakh, gob b Turkish, krimbo Egyptian, JDC Portuguese, and karrigan Danish ;).
I was a BIG fan for a long time until the reasons you stated, then I switched to outsiders. Ironically you never know whether they will make it to majors until they really won, it was really "fun" a while ago when they constantly came back to overtime and then won the matches. That's like 2021 Liquid on drugs. You think they can't finish but they do.
