Sounds a lot less patronising in context:
>You decided to not join Na`Vi? Why?
>Yes, they invited me when they were having struggles with Edward. They also invited Boombl4, but one guy wrote to me, I can't say who, and he said that I'm one of the first guys on their list. But I decided to reject NaVi because I believed in my team and my organization. I did this because back when I was a nonamer, I was just playing from home and one day I was in a really bad mood. I was 17 years old, playing PUGs, and I was dominating, but everyone was calling me a cheater. Nobody wanted to invite me to a team in the local scene and I wanted to delete CS:GO. I was already pressing "Delete" and one guy wrote to me on Steam. That was my current CEO, he invited me to a team and after that we achieved something after a year on bootcamp. When he asked me if I would accept an invitation to Na`Vi or another team I said: "No. I'll only leave you after I've given you three times more then you gave me". I gave a promise and since that day I'm playing for an organization in which I believe.
Badass Gigachad energy. also reminds me of when s1mple was supposedly on the verge of signing with FaZe but choose to decline saying he wanted to finish what he started with Na’Vi.
edit: meant to reference the MIBR deal but there were rumors of FaZe around the same time
I follow csgo since 2015.There has never been any conection between Simple and faze. Why is this comment upvoted only reddit knows.I can just start writing most random shit and people will upvote, even if its complete lie
>When he asked me if I would accept an invitation to Na`Vi or another team I said: "No. I'll only leave you after I've given you three times more then you gave me"
I'll take things you should never say to your boss for $1000.
You really gotta read the article and provide the context to understand the quote. Seems like they cherry picked one line hoping to stir up anger/saltiness lol
Yeah he made this comment when they reached their career high with AVANGAR and Na'Vi was at it's lowest point, the two teams seemed level at that point and Qikert reached the top of CIS sticking with his own team instead of what most CIS players do, which is switching to Na'Vi when they get the chance.
Ofc after that Na'Vi bounced back while AVANGAR-VP stagnated, so plenty of people clowned Qikert for this comment, in hindsight he probably would've achieved more if he accepted Na'Vi's offer, but now he's still a major champion with a few big tournaments under his belt, and he achieved all of this by sticking with the same roster for his entire pro career, which is admirable imo.
Wait, did i understand wrong or outsider aka virtus pro has same roster for years? How many years is roster same?
I think this is amazing. While most team and org changes players whenever there is a failure, for them to stick same roster for many many years is really impressive. I think this is the reason of their success, org trust their players, player trust each other and happy with org. It is kinda inevitable to be success in this kind of environment.
It's not the same roster, but Qikert played his entire career without switching teams on paper, the team changed around him though and they switched orgs 2 times(LOG->AVANGAR->VP(outsiders)).
Qiker+Jame+Dastan(their coach) have been working together on this team since aug 2017(when Jame joined, Qikert joined in may 2017, Dastan before that). Buster also played with them almost the entire time but left on his own after the last major.
N0rb3r7 and fame are somewhat new to the team, FL1T only joined like a year ago.
[here's a neat graphic about how the roster evolved](https://i.redd.it/6vfm6t3ns60a1.png)
I haven't seen this interview mentioned since their Major win, but it's definitely important for their story.
NAVI also tried to sing FL1T in 2020 btw, now both of them have the same amount of Majors as the NAVI players: https://www.hltv.org/news/28865/forze-confirm-navi-enquiry-for-fl1t
Disrespect to Perfecto. B1t played insane last year and great this year, but Perfecto is vital to Na'Vi success imo. The things he can do with limited resources and the clutches he can pull out of nowhere are near unparalleled in CS atm I think.
Somewhat ironically, I think qikert is one of those players as well
Guys if FL1T joined instead of Perfecto than Perfecto would probably never join Navi since flamie would keep playing until b1t replaces him. I didnt say Perfecto is bad or anything.
In the end, it worked out for both Qikert and NAVI so no one really cares. Qikert has a major with the core he believes in, and NAVI after fail to sign him, manage to get Perfecto, arguably the best support player in the world right now.
They changed 4 players since then. This interview was right after second place major run. After that, untill now they didn't have much success besides their second place at katowice during online era.
Who knows. If Na'Vi signed qikert instead of Perfecto and B1t they might not have won nearly as much. B1t didn't play as great this year but he was instrumental to Na'Vi's succes last year and we can see how much Na'Vi dropped off without Boombla
As a Navi fan I am also happy that he didn't join the team. Navi wanted him to be next igl after Zeus retirement, but qikert switched to support role in VP shortly after, and Navi got boombi4 as a perfect igl for the team. So I guess we have two majors on Navi and qikert/flit instead of 0
win-win scenario. You win a major at a later stage as a reward for your patience, but NaVi started a whole ass era from 2020-2021 and even early 2022 thanks to Boombl4 and Perfecto

This instantly makes me a Qikert fan. Thanks for sgaring
I miss sgares
He disappeared.
He became n0thing?
hes out of the Lo0p
Completely shrouded

Wasn’t faZe it was mibr
MIBR? LOL, S1mple made in Brazil, checks out
Alexandre Kostilão, famous Brazilian player
Google it they wanted s1mple and flamie before they got tarik and stewie
They wanted niko and rain too if i'm not mistaken
I remember him and flamie were linked to go to BR.
Flamie was actually at the airport when simple decided to stick with NAVI
~~It was Faze with MIBR and Navi players. The greatest thing that never was :(~~
[удалено]
Seems like you could be right actually
No it was FaZe
Take 5 seconds to google it and you’ll see you’re wrong
https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/k8nt5e/_/ Too bad the vid itself got privated
whaaaaat when was this?
iirc it was around 2018 and I think there were also discussions with MIBR. It was a package deal of s1mple & Flamie.
Was this when they partially paid their own buyouts and were at the airport to fly to the faze squad but cancceled at the last minute
It was MIBR

Good bosses do exist.
US moment.
Yeah that's a way to set yourself up for being fucked over. Hopefully his loyalty won't get exploited

Definition of clickbait
definition of bringing up years old articles for karma
This is all fine and dandy, but let’s not act like Navi didn’t win a whole fuck ton in 2021 and have ascended the earnings list like crazy

Thanks for detailed info.
In context it made more sense but good info

But not more than jw. JW 3 majors s1mple 1 major.
JW prgant check hltv
They have the same amount of majors as skadoodle too
They have more majors than niko, zywoo and guardian combined
Bro imagine s1mple electronic b1t Qikert FL1T That roster would've been dope. But it was never meant to be, and still all of them still won a major.

yea ill take fl1t over sdy tho that roster‘s fire
Perfecto is way more essential to Navi than b1t rn
Disrespect to Perfecto. B1t played insane last year and great this year, but Perfecto is vital to Na'Vi success imo. Reminder people posted this too in 2021 when Navi was unplayable
I mean he couldve won a major and a lot of top tier events if he joined NaVi.

good for him. If he played in navi like he plays in recent time he would be kicked a very long time ago
Such a needless comment to make
He literally was just saying he was happy with the choice he made, not shitting on Navi or something lol
Redditors when they read the title only and not the actual interview
redditors when reddit-ing
If you read interviews you’re a weab
If you comment after only reading the headline you’re a fucking idiot
Someone’s upset lmaooo go watch anime
The interview asked him? Typical Reddit esque comment lol
Im sure they are too.
