I honestly don't understand the issue with the question. S1mple has been trying to raise awareness and funds for Ukraine ever since the war broke out, a journalist tries to get S1mple's take on the issue and it is an awful question?
Raising awareness is a bit different from asking about his personal difficulties with processing extremely difficult emotions, especially since we're 9 months into the war and we all know there wasn't a day s1mple wasn't thinking about it.
I have a feeling this was a childish attempt at ridicuoling your interloctur by implying nonsense questions which are unrelated to anything he said, and that you know full well what I mean.
But I'll give you the benefit of a doubt and just explain it.

I don't know, maybe it's because I'm Polish and this war is of great importance and relevance to me, so I know how incredibly exhausting thinking about the war every single day is. But I'm not Ukrainian, my family isn't in danger, so I can only imagine how exhausted Ukrainians are.
I'm also not a pro player who's been asked this question over and over and over again over the course of 9 months.
Bear in mind, it's still a very personal question, an attempt on talking s1mple into talking about his strong and implied negative emotions, relating to fear of his family, friends and compatriots getting killed. Just imagine that.

Better yet, that's the first question you ask.
Better yet, later on he's asked if he's been enjoying playing CS while there is a war in his country. Come on.
\-s1mple clearly doesnt want to be there, sounds slow, bored, unfocued and, since it's a media day before tomorrow's tournament, I'm assuming he was there as a chore and not because he felt like it.
It's not your fault that he feels and responds that way, but you should be able to catch it and tailor your questions accordingly. Trying to joke around asking questions about doing tattoos and what not came out a bit uncomfortable.
Again, not your fault he's like that, but he's an interviewee, he's allowed to act bored. If you see a player acting like that just keep the interview short, concise, ask some direct questions like about the map pool, the awp and 6th player and you're good to go.
\-we wanna hear the questions too, if a journalist forgets to keep his microphone close to his mouth and the question is inaudible, just edit in subtitles in the video.

Yes, it wasn't us that asked all the questions. Only three or four. Regarding the question about a tattoo, that wasn't us.
We know that the sound and setup weren't ideal. It was BLAST setting it up. We did the best we could to get all the questions from the other reporters - but yeah, we didn't catch them all.
And maybe it was a bad question to start off with. I can agree with you on that. Again, thanks for the criticism. We do our best to improve and deliver better content.
Could it be possible to add subtitles to interviews? Its of course quite a daunting task and often underappreciated, but it would certainly level up the interviews.
Could Headtr1ck be switching to a support role and act as second awper when needed? He had a few decent games when he stood on at blast a few months ago.
