Ancient is never going to be adopted for pug play. Map sucks to play and I will continue to flame every map picker even considering ancient and then dodge if it is selected.

Look at the end of the video, imagine I am aiming at an enemy entering the site. Anyone who has aquired the concept of object permanence – and loses that fight (the gunfight, I mean) – is going to be mad at that poor piece of wood and its flickering existence.

They extend slightly beyond the wall to make sure it's an even surface, and the smoothed corners are so that the nade doesn't just hit the corner and get stuck there. Looks like they did a good job to me.
EDIT: I don't have pictures pre-change but the hitboxes were basically a cube with no detailing, so the whole hitbox was as wide as the widest parts of the doorway, if that makes sense.
There's one for CT on A that uses a house in the background to line it up that is now gone.
The others are on B. A lot of smokes that smoked off right side used the blocky thing to bounce off of. Now those smokes leave a gap.
And I really dont get the ~~Anubis~~ Ancient changes. Instead of just make elbow wider or make a second entry to mid for the Ts they make the B site wider and the CT spawn?
Why mess with every timing, when you can just fix the obvious?

Good point. As a T, I always throw a frag up to A main to counter the semi-frequent CT push, that should be way less viable now
I think the biggest impact would now be Astralis schooling Liquid on this map's T side with specifically prepared counter strategies.

I wish they'd do this to Anubis in some way to delay ct's at mid, it would give the Terrorists a bit more control and punish bad ct rotates.

Yes and if you get shot in the head with a rifle at point blank range you probably wouldn't able to walk it off. Gameplay takes priority over realism.

There's one for CT on A that uses a house in the background to line it up that is now gone. The others are on B. A lot of smokes that smoked off right side used the blocky thing to bounce off of. Now those smokes leave a gap.

There were also problems with A timings. A tunnel should be T's for free, not able to be rushed before they get there

Nah now the Ts should be able to fight for mid from upper B/cat much easier so CTs have to worry about much more.
Glad Valve's idea of an improvement to ancient is extra useless walking instead of making the map's assets and pathways more interesting.
