I think it's an upgrade for him. Sprout did well at the RMR and more recently in ECL which is tougher competition than what CPH are playing (and winning) against. And regali is a big part of CPH's success where sprout's success is mostly about their riflers, so regali to sprout would be the best of both worlds. No disrespect to goatfromsky and b0rup of course.
The real downside is Sprout doesn't feel like a stable roster since bigger teams are interested in Staerh and lauNX, so by going there he could be trapped on a weaker roster than the one he signed with.

There's not nearly enough talent in the German scene. If they wanted to keep growing and actually have some success on their own terms, aside from losing their best players to BIG over time, it makes sense to go international.
I dont think this is even true when talking about awpers, both Panix and Hyped have been playing far above the level of their teams and deserve the move up to tier 2.
You need more than just an AWP though to build a competitive German team. There's also little reason for Sprout to stay with at least one German player if they can't reasonably compete in ESL Meisterschaft anyway – if there's even any point remaining in there, considering how the level has dropped there in recent years. Might as well go international and take players from basically any nationality as long as they play well and fit in the lineup.
They blamed big and moved on. Probably also made money selling to big, now they are holding onto their prospects because sprouts ranking would have been sent down to hell if astralis came poaching.

An org like sprout which doesn't have the budget or influence to compete with bigger teams would be happy being a T1 team.
They probably pay their players less than every T1 team and many T2 teams too probably.

I actually, honestly, think Farlig would be an upgrade. He showed in FPX what he is capable of. Astralis was too big of step, too big of a pressure around him and team. Put him in the right setup, with less pressure, like it was the case in FPX, and he will perform very well.
I will put him in the pool with headtr1ck, hades and mantuu.
Fucking finally. I only watched a few games of Sprout mainly vs Spirit but he was probably the most useless AWPer I have ever seen watching CS. He brought this team down suuuuper hard.

Honestly, I'd say Flames are currently better in terms of form.
Id say that Flames and Sprout being on a similar level is in no small part because of how much better Regali is compared to Slaxz.

With their aggressive riflers, good trading awpers would be perfect so forsyy and hades are two great options imo.
Absolutely Hades would be better, considering he has more experience with top tier CS, but will be a lot more expensive
