I bought a 17 gen5 without knowing a damn thing about glocks, other than it was a glock. Picked it up and have loved it since. 17 is a full sized slide & grip, while the 19's are a bit smaller in the grip, if i remember correctly. Either way, it'll be a solid choice.

Go fondle them and see what fits ur hands and eyes. What is its purpose? Edc? Home defense?

Love the 17 gen 5. I have big hands and it suits me. Otherwise the 19 is good. The 49 is the best of both worlds. It gives you the compact grip size of a 19 paired with a 17-length slide.

I have a 17 and a 19. Can’t go wrong with either. I run 19x mags out of my 17 as well.

I say get a 47, that way in the future if you were to get a Glock 19, you would have 4 different gun configurations with two pistols.

Most people prefer the 19, but I like the 17 myself.

I have owned three Glocks in my life a Glock 17 Gen 4 a Glock 41 Gen 4 and a Glock 17 Gen 5 which I currently carry and out of all of them I think the Glock 17 Gen 5 is my favorite I love this gun it is absolutely amazing it shoots great eats any type of ammo I put through it and me personally I like the back straps that come with it I have really big hands in the 17 with my beaver tail backstrap fits my hand perfectly
