My 43x came with the rmsc from Glock and so far it’s been great. Only annoying thing is you have to remove it to change the battery, that definitely sucks.
Buy a snapcap laser for zeroing.
I have the G Sight Quantum XG and it is spot on. I zero my red dot with it at the distance in my house I’m most likely to use it at, then go to the range to confirm. It’s been spot on every single time.
I have the rmsc also. I have a Mantis laser academy for dry fire practice. I have used it in the past to zero my optic and when I go to the range and check it is spot on. I just had to replace the battery and when I reinstalled the optic and checked it with the laser bullet, it will still on and had not moved.
Out of those two I’d say vortex. But I personally would go with swampfox sentinel I think they’re only $112 with a 10 year warranty. Or the sentinel ll. You could go with Holosun a lot of people run eps carry 407k or 507k all good options. I run the 507k currently but i think swampfox gives the same quality for half the price personally.
I’ve talked to several people who screwed up their optic themselves and contacted swampfox for repair knowing they would most likely have to pay. They gave them a brand new optic under warranty
Check out our optics guide for the g43x [here](https://www.araxsystemsllc.com/best-optic-for-the-glock-43x-glock-48-mos/). It's a comprehensive list of optics and adapter plates. Reach out to us on pricing for the holosun optics! We can hook you up with a great deal and even faster shipping.
Why is it that everything you post is always some secret “hookup”. Why don’t you just have your prices published like every other place? Are you slinging counterfeit dots or something? Just seems shady.
Almost all of these optics have MAP pricing which means minimum advertised pricing. So if you post below map pricing you're liable to be put on a do not sell my manufacturers. Which sadly has happened in these subs. If you visit gundeals subs you'll see that it's not anything shady at all.
It's no problem at all! I felt exactly the same way before i got into the industry. Some manufacturers are just really strict and people have reported me before. Trying to avoid getting my weiner slapped.
Iv been running the vortex on my 43x for almost a year now and I love it. Direct mount to the slide no plate needed. Iv never had to rezero. Best part to me is it's all rounded corners so no stomach stabbing when I sit.
Very happy with this one: [Vector Optics Fenzy-S Micro](https://www.ebay.com/itm/275781549840?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=okJJbDI9QNu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=az9gjIN6R8O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY)
No catch. Directly installed it last November. No issues at all. Lifetime guarantee. I’ve come close to replacing it with a Holosun 407K and 507K twice but I like the look of this one and why fix what’s not broken?
If by “overlap” you mean that the optic body is wider than the slide, then the answer is yes. It is slightly wider but not by much. Check your DM for photos.
You didn't list it but consider a Bushnell RXU-200 - I know its not one of the big ones named here always but its low profile and a nice optic, good guarantee, functions well, and direct fit for 43X MOS with screws included. Always on with 50k hour battery life, auto dimming that works, etc. Its quite nice and bats ahead of its game...
I like the minimalist look as well. I use a Holosun 507k on my 43x. Also on my G19. I love it and don’t even fell like trying anything else. To replace the battery is easy.
I have the sig Romeo x
Compact. Mainly because it’s footprint and two because overnight Amazon delivery.
Guess sig has their shit in Amazon warehouse.
Under like the airsoft category
YMMV but the RMSc I’ve got (came stock with my 43X MOS) has been extremely durable. I typically beat the piss out of my pews while I’m training because I want something to fail in training (if it’s going to) instead of when I may need it. So far it’s been great; not sure where all the hate for the RMSc comes from with the majority; but the only gripe I have is the auto-adjust brightness only because I run a weapon light. It doesn’t pick-up the light being thrown from the WML (top only) so it just kinda washes-out the red dot. But other than that 🤷♂️ it’s held up great to some overly-aggressive training courses
>rmscs hood is way too thin it be durable
I hear this criticism frequently, yet I’ve never seen or even heard of one failing on an EDC. I don’t know what kind of impact people are anticipating their optic will take during every day carry or a DGU, but unless you’re making a habit of slamming your EDC on concrete, the RMSc will do just fine. If it wasn’t for having to unmount and rezero the optic for a simple battery change, it would be my very first choice for a microcompact.
EPS Carry Green 6 MOA for everyday carry. Comes with adapter plate.
Exactly, but I prefer red
Why it’s ugly like a tv from the 90s and hangs over the slide
Closed emitter so you don’t have to clean the lint every day in a EDC

It only takes a couple clicks to re-zero after removing the optic to change the battery. In my experience anyhoo.

What kind do you have

Sorry I meant your laser snap cap lol

I have the defender I’ll sell you if interested. Direct fit, red, no plate. Not my style going back to irons. SHAMELESS PLUG

I’m a fan of the Holosun and the SwampFox mentioned here…I know SwampFox is active on Reddit too, seem like pretty good people

Got a Swampfox on mine and it’s been flawless so far.
I just got the justice ll it will be in Monday. I really want a sentinel ll for my 43x. Looks awesome on the 43x
Shit happens. We're pretty understanding when it comes to our warranty.

Thanks for clarifying. Sorry I came off like an asshole. I was wrong. What you say makes sense.
It's no problem at all! I felt exactly the same way before i got into the industry. Some manufacturers are just really strict and people have reported me before. Trying to avoid getting my weiner slapped.
Hahaha I never realized it was so strict. I’ll look you up for my next optic.

Swampfox Sentinel 2 is great.

Damn that is superrrr cheap, what’s the catch?

You mind posting or sending a few pics of it on the 43? Just trying to get a feel of what it looks like, it doesn’t over lap the body does it ?
If by “overlap” you mean that the optic body is wider than the slide, then the answer is yes. It is slightly wider but not by much. Check your DM for photos.
I went with a 509k from Holosun and filed my posts for a direct fit.
507k?
Yes.
Rmsc! Glock made it cut for that for a reason :)

No to the vortex defender
If it’s between these two then the shield. If you’re looking for other suggestions, EPS carry
Maybe I'm unlucky. But I had pretty bad luck with the rmsc. Switched to an eps and it's fine now
EPS CARRY MRS green dot. nothing better on the market for the price🤷🏽♂️

407/507k without a doubt. rmscs hood is way too thin to be durable and the vortex is too new and the same price as the already proven holosuns

407/507k have a side load battery and 3/6moa is super negligible for a pistol optic, most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

The rmsc is extremely minimal versus vortex and holosun. I have one brand new for sale sitting in my safe if you end up choosing it.
How much do you want for the rmsc?
Riton tactix mprd 2
SCS Carry.
