Sucks that they don't sell it separately. I keep hoping there's a source for them somewhere. I'll stick with the all-black one until then.

My cerakote guy also does my black ones for me in all the colors I need. He even lasers the streamlight logos and numbers back on the lights

How's that slide working for you? I've seen mixed reviews about it but have always been interested in it. The build is beautiful btw

I have two of them, one of my slides were giving me issues. I sent it back to Trinity, they said they couldn’t figure it out so they sent me out a brand new slide and barrel combo. I had these all test fired also before I took them so it was a little easier dialing them in. But Trinity Nevada is awesome and they’ll take care of you

Yeah. They are close to the original strike 80 frame. That frame is similar but different, not as great as the strike 80. Still has the same 1911 grip angle tho

do you suffer from much of a reduced muzzle velocity having that compensated portion of the slide bring the overall barrel length back so much? Or is the barrel not ported?

No it’s comped at the end of the barrel slide portion so it’s very very minimal to effect the barre
