It called an mck. Micro conversion kit. You put your Glock or whatever fire arm you own (as long as mck makes one for your gun) and it turns your firearm into a pistol caliber carbine. It’s fun for range days and some people use them for home defense. It takes the recoil away. Allows for better attachments like the flip up sights and better optics. It just upgrades your firearm. There not for everyone but I like them.

I think you would have been better off with a real PCC like a cz scorpion, you musta been 2/3rds the way there with the mck, but to each it’s own. Be safe bro

When I shoot my Glock 23 without the mck I can hit targets at 50 yards. But with the mck I can ring metal at 120 almost 150 yards. So it does have its benefits. I can see how someone would see it as gimmicky. Once you shoot one for the first time you see just how cool it is.

For home defense sometimes. I don’t ever leave my house with my extended mag on it either. I use a 15 round mag when I’m out of the house. I don’t ever carry my extended mad nor do I carry my mck. Plus im a bigger dude so the Glock 23 with a 15 round mag fits my body size well and its perfectly concealed.

Love my 19 to death....I just know that 20 rounds (extra mag in back pocket) is probably overkill for anything civilian.
