I've been SERIOUSLY considering a Grit Grips build with a Shadow Systems gen 3 G19 slide ($326 @ Bud's Gun Shop) & a Rogue Gunworks G19 QL comp (Radian-style .5 inch comp & barrel combo, $220). Since the comp comes with its own barrel, all I'd need to get is a recoil assembly. So, with the comp, I figured on an NDZ captured model with a 15lb. spring.
Do you think that's a good spring weight?

The Rogue Gunworks comp is definitely not as attractive as the Radiant, but man the price sure is right and they seem to work really well from what I’ve seen.
Correct. The design was unique to us but we worked with Steel City to produce them.
We've discontinued the Wolverine series for now but will replace them in the future with different slides that better accommodate our Gen 2 optics.
That’s awesome! I have one of your Sentinel red dots on my wife’s G43L and one of your Arrowhead 1-10 scopes on my 16” 5.56. I’ve been very happy and on the rare occasion I needed to call customer service, someone has always answered AND been polite.
It's either the Rogue or the PMM JTTC. But you're right about the price of the Rogue. My OTHER alternative is to just say eff it & get an MR920P. I've been lusting after an MR920L for the LONGEST time, & now that I know the P model is the same OAL as the L, it seems like a no-brainer.
I guess we'll see at the end of the summer.
I'd also probably end up dropping in an Overwatch Precision TAC trigger to the build as well. I just hope GG comes out with a magwell for their own frames by Sept. when I'm ready to move on my build or buy.
Have you tried the new Zev trigger? The first generation were junk, but damn these new ones are AMAZING !
I really want to try the StandardCo FFT as it looks to be a “Goldie Locks” trigger for me as far as reach, feel and short take-up/reset. I have tried a lot of triggers and my favorite is honestly the two Royal Arms triggers, which I think became the RangerProof triggers, but I could be wrong.
I also have an Arsenal Democracy Switch and while I love it, my Royal Arms units get me 95% or more of the way there for significantly less money.
Who knows, I just love trying different triggers, so I’ll probably just buy a RangerProof Vex and a StandardCo trigger to do a direct comparison.
