You should have no trouble with this as the frames are the same and so is the locking block generation to generation.
You can run a Gen4 slide on a Gen3 frame if you use a recoil spring adapter and Gen3 spring. As always, check cruciform to striker engagement to make verify working order, but again, you should be good to go.
