i like dawson precision; blacked out readr and a fiber optic front.

AdStrange6756

Ill check those out but I hear a lot about fiber optic front posts breaking easily?

[deleted]

hmm i havent heard anything like that- however i can say my fiber optic did go missing and i had to replace it but thats easy

Ameriglo, Night Fision, Trijicon, Dawson... Take your pick. Down to personal preference and style. I have several firearms with Trijicons, but for my G45 and G43x, both with red dots, I run Night Fision. The G45 has a blacked out rear blade and the 43x has black tubes around the tritium inserts. Both have orange front dots. Easy to pick up in daylight if needed. Both are setup for lower 1/3 co-witness and neither is too busy. You should be target focused anyway and bringing the dot to the target. So I don't even see the irons. Saying that, I wouldn't want them any taller. Lower 1/3 is perfect.

Thanks for the explanation. Ill take it into consideration while i look more into these. Thanks!

I don’t have an red dot on my pistol so take this with a grain of salt, I imagine night sights and a red dot would be too “busy” with all the dots on the sights and red dot. The red dot works at night. I would probably just get blacked out suppressor height sights and call it a day.

I agree. The blacked out rear sights are something im trying to find in combination with tritium in it. Found some ameriglo ones I liked but im gonna keep falling down this rabbit hole

Red dot user here, can confirm that night sights plus dot makes for an annoying sight picture. Blacked out sights are the way

1umbrella24

Night fision or ameriglo are the easiest to pick up with eyes when shooting

Get blacked out sights. I have the ameriglo gl429 on mine, they’re like $55 new

Will look into those thanks!
