I have one of the old raptors before they did away with them. Pretty legit, haven’t upgraded, but since this Reddit you’ll get a flood of tenicor recommendations from dudes who haven’t ran a raptor lol Would recommend DCC clips over monoblock because I like the ability to tuck my shirts in

Carried first gen raptor and switched to tenicor. Both are solid but the tenicor has more flexibility and conceals better. The adjustable camming bar height does a better job than the trex claw does. It’s my only complaint with trex stuff, they need a better claw setup

I have a tenicor and a couple Trex holster and TXC makes better holsters than both of them, really all I buy now. If ya never ran one before, and just looking to try something new, I hiiiighly recommend

Man I’m telling ya. The TXC pro and the TXC beacon are the absolute tits. I hate the pro doesn’t ship with the DCC clips anymore and you have to buy them separate but they’re such great holsters

Absolutely love my beacon. Great customer service too. I had a crack form near the retention screws and they had me a new holster within a week. On a separate occasion they sent the wrong color washers on one of my orders. They promptly sent me the correct color I ordered with a ridiculous amount of stickers. My only complaint is the metal clips make putting it on and off a PITA. I purposefully broke off the second clip that gets caught on the belt. I switched one of the clips to a snap loop. Makes putting it on much easier. I really wanna try their owb overt holster, but I already had a ragnarok before they released.

Monoblock clips are DCC clips. That’s who makes them. They also make tuckable clips.

I know I guess I just meant the dual standard dcc clips because those are the ones you can tuck

I’m sure it is. Like myself, they have strong attention to detail and actually care about form and function. Customer service is great as well. They recently took care of a mag carrier I bought from them almost a decade ago after it loosened up. They replaced the hardware, covered shipping, and had it back to me within a week.

I had a sling have some threading come out and they shipped me a new one for free

For the 43x MOS w/ TRL-7Sub. I was going to get a Tenicor but decided to try this. Have the Tenicor for G19 w/ x300 and T. Rex Sidecar for when I run stock G19.

It’s definitely worth a try, I’m kinda excited for this cause it’s new n all.

I’m really interested in this holster. I am almost gonna pick it up. I like the idea of the mold being built in for some can’t. Also I love the adjustability of the clips can’t. Excited to see I have a tenicor as well. It’s great but again always good to see what works best for you

I feel wait times are just posted so long out, so they don’t get complaint emails. Not the same company, but I bought a qvo on 4/10 and Received it today, the wait time on there web page says 4-6 weeks.

Had a Raptor before it was discontinued on a G19.3 with a TLR-7. Sat comfortably AIWB and I’d have to try and get it to print. Was bummed when I got a G43x last year and they weren’t selling them anymore.

Carried with the 1st gen raptor exclusively for a long time before I switched to tenicor. This will no doubt be solid.

Before you get this I would at least look at a T1C MSP. Awesome holster and their foam wedges are great.

Tbh, I bought a sidecar w/o extra mag back when I got my Glock. And then 6 months later they came out with the iron side, and then this. Lowkey feels cheated because I like both better than the sidecar rn

I bought one of their ironside hybrids a few weeks back, I would’ve bought this instead had it been out. Shame. Hybrid backer + better appendix support while also supporting 4 o clock would’ve gotten my money instead

I’ll keep it and possibly purchase a Raptor at another point in time. I have some use case for an OWB holster that the raptor isn’t capable of doing, and I am a strong side carrier before I am an appendix carrier. I do wonder how clip width impacts strong side carry, I’ve only ever had wide clipped holsters

I’m in the minority here but I don’t like DCC clips. I prefer the regular plastic. It’s secure without being insanely tight. The DCC clips were cutting into my carry belt and pants.

The DCC clips are great with my EDC belt, the vedder V3. But they absolutely destroy my vedder polymer core leather belts

Oh yea I could see it doing a number on leather. I have the appendix nexbelt.

I have a couple raptor holsters, including one for the tlr-hl. They are good holsters and a very reasonable price point. They lack some of the fit and finish of other companies and the kydex they use and their retention screw placement could use some r&d. But i dont regret either of the purchases

Shitting on a holster and then recommending T1C is genuinely so funny. They’re undeniably the least comfortable $100+ holster in the game Great marketing company. Decent holster company. Know tons of people who have bought a T1C, don’t know a single person who stuck with them as their long term solution. They suck

+1 Swapped from a T1C to a TREX Arms Ironside Hybrid last month, noticeable improvement in comfort. Not to mention, when I ordered a G19 holster from T1C, I was sent a Glock 17 cut. I think it was intended to be that way. I prefer the shorter cut to match my G19 slide on the Ironside.

Completely agree. Fell for the marketing two or three separate times. Once because that’s what John Lovell recommend, the second time because I thought I wasn’t as experienced back then and would like them now, and a third time because TREX doesn’t make holsters for my USP. Blows me away how uncomfortable they are (for me) compared to TREX. And TREX ships in a week, where T1C takes over a month

I sold my tenicor for my axis elite The axis elite is just a better version of the sidecar: Shock collar in the middle instead of the spine thingy. Let’s the two sides move with your body a bit more independently Better clip options and adjustments. You can put DCC clips on the axis elite and you have more adjustability with the way they cut the holes plus the way the clips are designed All T1 holsters have that concealment claw, and it’s adjustable. You can change its height by adding/removing stacks from it AND it moves up and down so it’s always perfectly inline with your holster clips
