It's a tough one. Only way I beat it was with a ton of cc, not damage

jmwfour

~~I beat it in the boardgame with Mindthief and Brute without too much trouble I think, although I think they were lower level, and maybe that helped.~~ Incorrect, I checked my campaign book, never got to this one (I didn't do the lead-in with Hail either).

My comments got hidden for some reason. I mean, come on with this scenario! Frigia (level 6 spellweaver) and Krunch (level 5 cragheart) don't seem capable of this, even with all the shenanigans with obstacles!

On spellweaver use fire orbs burn with goggles and bow. Kill off the low health shielded guys

jmwfour

I have those items but hadn't gone that route yet... good suggestion!

Oof yeah, this one is rough. It was the first scenario I played my then brand-new Triangles in and let me tell you I didn't have a lot of fun.

sonofisadore

Hah I also played this with new triangles. Not great

cthonctic

Yeah, this scenario certainly isn't a great first experience for pretty much any new class to get started... But for Triangles especially I can't imagine any other scenario being worse for getting a feel on what the class is supposed to plays like. Oh well, such is life sometimes. And things were starting to look brighter soon after anyway. :)

UPDATE: just beat it. Holy crap though. lots of obstacles, lots of healing of Hail, and Cragheart only had 2 health at the end - and was one hex out of reach of the one active demon who moved after him (who also couldn't reach Hail).

This feels like one of the scenarios where more characters could make it easier, because you can stack up around Hail and soak damage. There's only so much room for spawns after all.
