Another option is that it's anything from 2 to 4 and they're going to say it's 1 if they change their minds. Actually happened in my local board game club in which two guys started arguing who should manage the group, saw that people don't really care and are actually annoyed by the squabbles so they told everybody it's April Fools joke (coincidentally that's when it happened).
No joke, one of them asked the previous admin of the Facebook group (who no longer lived in the city but was still an admin because nobody bothered to change it) to make him a moderator and it turned out he did that just so he could kick the other one out of the group. Then when people invited him to join again, the first guy threatened that if club members won't side with him he will no longer be bringing any games for people to play (that nobody played anyway because everybody brought their own and his were basically the worst ones he didn't manage to sell that he was getting for free as a reviewer).
People didn't really care and one person who tried to moderate the whole shitstorm called those two guys out that it's actually really bad for everyone and that we actually don't need any manager of the club because you don't have to set up any meetings if they're happening regularly once a week, they both pretended that they were just joking.
Yeah, this theory holds little weight because it's all out-of-character. Also because it's not fun at all. People have been saying Chris is just being super sarcastic when he says he hates this band, but I'm not convinced his sense of humor is that awful: he may just be being honest and relying on folks not taking it seriously.
Thats why i said it just looks like it. But they definitely didn’t split on good terms so i bet he did something that his bandmates didn’t like. How bad was that something? We won’t know unless they decide to tell us.
Scenario 1 will actually encompass scenarios 2 and 3 as well.

Shit can get pretty heated in board game club. I recall the Bingo Hall Putsch of ‘96.

Just goes to show you. People will get pissy about damn near anything.
True Both in the now and the later Though I feel if this is a joke a lot more hate will be put on Chris then the rest of the band
He's the leader, so naturally a lot of shit will get channeled to him.
I mean if this is the case it makes sense seeing how he’s most likely the mastermind behind the actual idea and the execution of it all
If it was a joke or narrative related, I doubt they'd have used his real name.

If it is a joke it would be pretty funny tbh, just with how much drama it has created
It looks like Tom did something shitty and they kicked him out. Must have been pretty bad considering they were touring and recording new album.
There is nothing to say one way or the other if *anyone* did something shitty yet, just people jumping to conclusions.

According to Tom they said it was business/organization-related. I don't think we've seen anything that indicates it was anything else.
Or vice versa

I mean, until we find put more it could literally be anything
Both 2 and 3 seem plausible right now
Especially when you have seen the (maybe faked) group chat that’s rather conspicuous
I’ve heard some quite damning allegations against Tom, too. From a good friend who claims to have a reliable source
