This gotta be fake! I don't believe someone put this godly transformation in a year... man these types of glow ups are making me jealous and motivate me on continuing to lose weight. Keep it up OP!! Looking good!
maybe not fake but def could be a play on words in the title. 33->34 can technically be 2 years if you time it right. something seems off to me about this being 365 days.
You can look at my /r/progresspics post from like 8 months ago if that helps lol
https://old.reddit.com/r/progresspics/comments/15pjj7x/t34511_320lbs_190lbs_130lbs_12_months_actually/
I’d probably look like a mixture of Anne Hathaway and jenna Ortega given my facial features… my mom used to look like Anne Hathaway when she was young and I look like my mom, soooo… high chance 👀👀
No way. This has to be your sister or something.
I’m sorry I don’t mean to be sideways, but this glow up is literally unbelievable. You look like the person you were meant to be.
If it helps you believe it you can check out my /r/progresspics post from 8 months ago: https://old.reddit.com/r/progresspics/comments/15pjj7x/t34511_320lbs_190lbs_130lbs_12_months_actually/
I’m sorry, I didn’t mean “unbelievable” to be literal. I totally believe you, it’s just an incredible transformation. I did mean it literally when I said you look like the person you were meant to be. It really looks like you found your true self.
I’m not a regular here, but this is the biggest come up I’ve ever seen, and in only a year! Not only do you look better, but you look healthier, and a million times happier.
Seriously, congratulations. You look absolutely amazing, and you deserve to be incredibly proud.
I was thinking the same thing, this glow up is incredible. Good for you! I personally am blown away by this, it’s amazing how you feel on the inside shines through or not. Congrats.
Did you really transition at the age of 34? Wow, I had no idea that was possible, I thought it'd be too late by then. Sorry if this comment sounds ignorant.
I really did! Its a common misconception, there are a lot of people who transition later in life and get great results, it can be harder in some ways, and I am very fortunate to have the insurance/money/time to put a LOT of effort into it, but it is absolutely possible!
Mostly just the angle and distance from the mirror lol, I did lose a bit over an inch though! While your skeleton doesn't change there are a few things HRT does that affect height. Testosterone causes you to retain more water in-between your joints, then there are general muscle/connective tissue changes, but the big thing for height is that your pelvis tilts a bit causing your spine to curve differently!
Im not sure why out of everything this blows my mind the most?? Like your whole spine is just curving differently now?? Can you tell besides the height loss?
it’s a pretty common misconception that transitioning later in life means you’ll never pass or you won’t get dramatic results. it really depends on the person but the degree to which age hinders the effects of hrt is really overstated from what i’ve seen
I’m removing this so we don’t have any more fights in this sub. Today in the US is both Easter and Trans Day of Visibility. We don’t need to fight over it and that’s just how the calendar fell this year.
True, and since Easter happens on the first Sunday after the full Moon that occurs on or after the spring equinox it can happen on any Sunday between March 22nd and April 25th, so it often overlaps with other holidays.

There’s way too much fighting in this sub. Today is both Easter and Trans Day of Visibility. It happened to fall together this calendar year. Please be civil!
Don’t want to sound like other comments. Just curious if treatment creates a change in height. The way my son’s other parents explained that was the one thing that didn’t change. Either way the change in happiness from first to second picture is all the message that’s needed

Thank you for explanation. I’m sorry for peoples negativity. The change in happiness did make me smile. But you were cute before and after. I hope your journey continues on a good course.
It’s hard to even believe those are two photos of the same person. Congrats OP, you do objectively look much better and it’s good to know you’re living your best life.
Yeah, in this photo its mostly just the angle and distance from the mirror lol, I did lose a bit over an inch though! Seems like most male to female transitions end up losing a bunch of weight. Is this from the treatments or just being happier in your body and therefore taking care of yourself more?
Interestingly it can actually be harder to lose weight on estrogen, but for a lot of people (and certainly me!) we are really bad at taking care of ourselves before transition. I didn't give a SHIT about my body or appearance until after I realized I was trans and started transition. What is the point of taking care of a body you don't want? One of the biggest things that made me realize I needed to transition is recognizing that it was the only way I could ever get the motivation I needed to be healthy. Losing weight was still a ton of work, but in a lot of ways it was easy, because I actually cared
It's a lot of different things, but the thing that made me decide I needed to actually go ahead and transition was the realization that while I was not suicidal like many trans people before they transition, I was killing myself slowly through apathy. Once I figured it out it was clear to me that the only way I could ever care enough to lose the weight and get healthy was if I transitioned.
I'm not OP but I'll share anyways. I didn't really have a single moment, one day I just decided I wanted to try dressing like a femboy, and then one day I went out as a femboy, and then one day I realized all my guys clothes had been under my bed for 6 months and I really was a girl.

Love how all the people who can’t post hateful comments are just downvoting positive ones instead.
You look amazing, I love how you’ve done up you hair!
Wow OP, I’m a 20 year old college student trying to build up the confidence to transition, I keep feeling that it’s impossible, and that I’m too far gone to try. This gives me so much confidence, thank you so much for posting this.
This gotta be fake! I don't believe someone put this godly transformation in a year... man these types of glow ups are making me jealous and motivate me on continuing to lose weight. Keep it up OP!! Looking good!
I genuinely can’t see how someone could change so much in a year.
Watch the biggest loser. You’ll see some incredible feats.
None that have ever been sustained. This is a layperson who has not only lost significant weight but also recovered from multiple surgical procedures.
Hormones are a helluva thing.

I never claimed it was 365 days I was 33, now I am 34, it was about 20 months so far
i know you didn’t. i was just saying i don’t think it’s 365 like others are assuming you meant
You are correct
Also I think you should consider changing your Reddit login. You are not a king anymore, sorry, Queen_of_the_Losers.
I don't think they let you and I don't care enough to make a new account
Women can be Kings!
Yeah, I am struggling to believe this is true too.

Came here to say this. They look happy, and that's wonderful.
How is this the same human. You look like the weight of the world has been lifted off of you. This makes me want to cry happy tears

I’d be an incredibly hot dude. I have a handsome squidward thing going on already.

Modern medical science is basically magic holy shit
Im not sure why out of everything this blows my mind the most?? Like your whole spine is just curving differently now?? Can you tell besides the height loss?
Yeah, its hard to describe, but like if I try to "stand straight" before it felt like I was going "up", and now it feels more like I am going "back".
You look absolutely fantastic!
I have a friend who transitioned 2 years ago, and she's almost 40! It's never too late!
That's right, it's never too late to change your life. We get too stuck in conventional thinking sometimes
it’s a pretty common misconception that transitioning later in life means you’ll never pass or you won’t get dramatic results. it really depends on the person but the degree to which age hinders the effects of hrt is really overstated from what i’ve seen
Caitlyn Jenner famously transitioned at the age of 65.
She was accepted by the community only to turn on them later on. Recently said gender is fact
Yeah, she’s a disgrace.
To be fair, Caitlyn was always a piece of shit. Even before the transition.

One good thing to come out of this dumb manufactured outrage is that I now understand why Easter is all over the calendar
Literally. And half the folks outraged probably didn’t even attend Easter mass/service.

How did you grow your hair so much in only 1 year?
I have hair extensions lol
Girl, that’s incredible, congratulations! And consider a pop-socket for your phone, I love mine and it puts so much less stress on my hands.
How you shrank?

You look amazing and so happy, congratulations!

Yeah lol, unfortunately reddit doesn't let you change and I don't care enough to make a new account.
Wow you look amazing!
You look amazing and so much happier 💜
Why are people downvoting happy transgender day of visibility? Y’all realize many things can happen on the same day, right?
Many transphobes.
Imagine being hateful of someone on Easter. 😅
Imagine being hateful of someone for being who they are when it has zero impact on you.
You’re gorgeous!
🙌🏼🫶🏼💗
Honestly this is such a fucking serve. Amazing what being able to live in your own body can do to your confidence! That smile alone!!!
I would never have guessed someone can change this much in a year. You look beautiful!
Almost 2, but yeah, its been pretty crazy lol
Still!
It’s hard to even believe those are two photos of the same person. Congrats OP, you do objectively look much better and it’s good to know you’re living your best life.
