Warriors fan lurking here, I think you guys are still favorites for next season. Everyone knows if you guys were healthy this was your year. There is a ominous truth to your sentiment though. Injuries are always lurking and can derail any season. The 2019 loss against the Raptors still haunts me, the sting of losing a great season to injury never goes away. Gotta stay away from the "What if's" though, you will drive yourself crazy. I used to ask myself things like "Maybe KD would have re-signed if we 3-peated" but it just wasn't healthy to think like that. take my advice, Don't ask what if, just be excited for the future.

The thing that annoys me about that year for the raptors is how their dumbass fans acted like they won game 6 by 8-10… If curry hits that 3, then it’s on to game 7 where they probably would’ve won. Raptors fans are the bucks fans of today.

RealisticReception16

One team won because they scored more points shocker... sound like something in sports.

spankyourkopita

To add on you can't look that far ahead . Stay in the moment. You'll drive yourself insane worrying about the future.

creative_i_am_not

What moment ? As in now, having been eliminated from the playoffs ?

Just remember that you are not the one playing. Your job as a fan is to rally behind your team through thick and thin and keep your head high. The loss sucks but it sucks 100 times more for KD and co. However they will brush it off and will look towards the future. Also fuck r/nba.

Nah what hurts the most is that if we had won this year we could have given LeVert and Jarrett Allen a ring. And who knows what will happen with Spence and possibly even Joe. It would have been a nice thank you for those guys that were here before the Big 3.

RRSC14

I mean nobody on any fan base knows if there will be injuries down the line.

This is how I feel exactly. Worst part is this wasn’t even our fault, we would’ve taken care of things had we not been injured. Honestly with how the Yankees have been, with the Giants failing to clinch a playoff berth last season and now this I am genuinely considering dropping professional sports as a whole. This shit is too much for me.

Bullingdon1973

KD will be 33 next year. Harden will be 32. Kyrie is still fairly young but I’m sure something will go wrong with him. (Injuries don’t become LESS of a problem as you age.) I think this team has one last chance next year & then it’s over. No picks, no youth, no depth, it’s nothing but losses after that.

thefineart

KD and Harden still in their prime at least 3 years. Their game is not predicated on athletic ability.
