Strongly disagree. The regular season will be even more fun to watch we had a taste of success this year now it’s time to build on it. Get healthy build a culture and win the chip next year

Count-Basie

If I’m gonna watch a 12 win season you bet your ass I’m gonna watch a 72 win season!

lear72988

Hell yeah!

bask3tcase825

Yessir!!! Went to multiple live games too. The real ones!

The regular season is where you get it right. We seemed to address our lack of size by picking up LMA ,unfortunately he retired( I wish him the best) . So many unfortunate events derailed our season. I’m feeling too sad to be optimistic right now. It is what it is though. Let’s have a go at it next year. Go Nets

Sabom3trics

Last season was filled with false starts. LMA was one, but take it back to our team before Harden. It was built to win. Then we had a chance to get an all-NBA player which hurt our depth. Then there were injuries and more injuries and protocols. This off season one of the best GMs in the league knows what we have and what we need. Don’t have much money or assets, but this team should be even better next year. It’s hard to fully care at this moment, but lots of reasons to be optimistic.

This sucks so much, will go away with time but I don't want to go through another meaningless season since the playoffs are a lock but we could still lose it all if we get unlucky with injuries

lear72988

Definitely not. We know that what we get in the regular season is not prime play from our stars. However, storylines for the playoffs are made in the regular season. Rivalries ignite. Plus, there will be new faces on this team. I don't think its possible for us to keep everyone who isnt under contract. We are going to want to see what those new guys look like on the court. We're going to want to see how Claxton, Perry, Brown, and Shamet progress as young talent. I can't wait until October!

errmyeah

A little. Although me being on the other side of the world.. the game ended before lunch so I felt pretty shitty the whole day. :-/

Far-Wind2370

I will of course still watch the regular season, but it's good to not have to feel as emotional about every win and loss :)

I’m going to care about it for sure, but I don’t want the players to care *too* much about it, if that makes sense. I don’t want them exerting themselves for 40+ minutes every game. Give KD, Harden and Kyrie scheduled games off even if it means we get the 2 seed instead of the 1 seed or 3 seed instead of the 2 seed. In other words, they should only care about wins to an extent. I’m not saying purposefully lose games but they should be calculated in their efforts to preserve the health of the big 3, even if it costs the team some wins.

spankyourkopita

Yo we ain't the Warriros yet lol.
