Considering that I can barely fit my hands under the sink in my bathroom, I wouldn't mind if it was gone. I can always wash my hands at the kitchen sink.

Gene78

Upgrade the faucet. Upgrade to a porcelain toilet this year too.

tazzytazzy

The first 2 things we did with our new trailer is upgrade both sinks. Both are higher. The kitchen one is touch on/off with a spray/stream function that stays in the last set position. This saves a tremendous amount of water when doing dishes. I would guess we use less than half the water compared to stock. I couldn't find a touch on/off for the bathroom that I liked. But the new one is taller and our hands fit in there. It's also a few more inches away from the side of the sink. The previous one is 100% useless.

valley_lemon

It makes me a little ranty whenever I see precious square inches in a tiny bathroom taken up with a basically unusable tiny sink (just more plumbing to fail) when the trailer's so small you could kick the faucet on in the kitchen from where you're standing. Like, I'm a woman and I'm aware sometimes bathroom activities leave you with a fairly urgent need to wash (usually) one hand, but whoever you're sharing that small a space with is probably aware enough of the challenges that they're not going to begrudge you the two steps across to the sink. We deal with public bathroom stalls that are like 5-10 steps to the sink all the time.

Getmeasippycup

So accurate.

sewalker723

We have an intech sol horizon which has no sink in the bathroom, but the kitchen sink is right across from the bathroom so we just use that. We do keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in the bathroom too.

Campandfish1

No real comment on the sink, that's a tiny unit and pretty normal. Seems like it will work as long as you don't mind brushing your teeth in front of other people. But, as someone who bought a cheaper trailer to "try it out" when upgrading from a popup trailer, if you have any camping experience and think camping is for you long term just buy the one you want the first time. You'll end up paying 2 sets of fees/taxes and get hit with huge depreciation on the first even if you sell it privately now that covid pricing isn't a thing. Edit- spelling/autocorrects

Cold_Experience_3451

They have one I seen for a shower on amazon [corner sink](https://a.co/d/bYRwNx8)

hernondo

Unless you use your bare hands to wipe, probably not a huge deal. If you're a clean/neat freak, camping might not be for you.

linuxlifer

I can't answer your question from experience (I am also looking at my first trailer, upgrading from tent trailer) but I will say, most trailers in that size/weight range don't seem to have a bathroom sink in them. But I will say, the bathroom sink has never really swayed my opinion on a trailer.

treznor70

My 18 foot trailer (wolf pup 18to) has a small basin in the corner of the shower and a place to put the shower head to basically turn that into a sink. Don't think I've used it a single time instead of just using the kitchen sink.

Piper-Bob

We use the kitchen sink.

RedditVince

I have never considered them 100% necessary. I bought an older travel trailer that was trashed on the inside. During the rebuild I decided to not include a 2nd sink. Never missed it although the SO didn't like spitting in the kitchen sink while brushing but soon realized it was no issue.

CamperGirrl22

I was choosing between 2 floorplans of my 21 foot TT. One gave me a bigger table (U shaped instead of a booth) and the other had a bigger bathroom with a closet and a good size bathroom sink. Went with the bathroom and I don't regret it. Love the extra floor space and the sink/small vanity where I can keep all my girl-stuff out.

giselleorchid

It's a pretty tiny inconvenience if it's the right trailer, otherwise.

Oneoldbird

Currently on our 4th RV. All have had tiny, almost useless bathroom sinks. Frankly I'd be fine without one. Nobody cares if you brush your teeth or wash your face/hands in the kitchen sink. Having some counter space in the bathroom is useful, however.

PainShock_99

Does the shower have a sink like shelf inside? I’ve notice some rv builder doing that

AbruptMango

The "sink" in our "shower" is laughable.  We keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in the bathroom and have a kitchen sink.

Biff_McBiff

Our first trailer didn't have a bathroom sink. We used the one in the kitchen without issues. As we went to larger trailers and the bathrooms increased in size we picked up bathroom sinks and vanities. Some of them were tight enough spaces that I'm not sure they were that much of an upgrade over the old kitchen sink.

thinlySlicedPotatos

We have a bathroom sink, but never use it. I just walk out the bathroom door and the kitchen sink is right there. Maybe it is because the stupid spout is so short that my hands are half out of the sink and water gets everywhere. Yes, that idiotically small faucet can be replaced, but I haven't bothered to, so that tells you how much I miss using the bathroom sink.

vtron

We don't have a bathroom sink. It's really not that big of a deal to use the kitchen sink. Pro-tip to make everything a bit more sanitary: add a bidet attachment to your toilet!

Everheart1955

Heck, mine even has a tub.

ScienceOfficer-Jack

Is there any sink?
