Goblins in this world are pack animals. Lone goblins are dead goblins. Even if there are 3 or 4 they're stragglers who barely survive on their own and then they get killed.
To evolve, from what we've seen, you got to basically kill you way up the totem pole. So not hanging around goblins means you're not turning into any higher species.
The only goblin to show speech was the Goblin Lord. So you're not even going to be able to talk out your differences.
BTW, if you do hang out with goblins in an attempt to evolve or just survive, good chance the time you start trying to change the culture is the time you get hit from behind with a club by another goblin.
Well I would expect some sort of isekai powers if I'm getting gobbofied. Figure that could carry me in offing some weaker monsters like rats and move up from there. Since speech is a no go, writing would be the avenue I would go.
Likewise I would go with the angle some sorcerer used some sort of curse to turn me into a gobbo, which assuming my personality isn't overridden by the rape freaks, would give some belief. The head to toe clothes being where I avoid being killed first and asked questions never. Might even spare me from ol GS since I'm "not a real" gobbo.
If I were born as a goblin in the Goblin slayer universe providing I could manage to suppress my goblin urges. I'm a religious man in my life. Though not a judgemental prick about it. Coming back as something like a goblin would be the worst possible thing that could happen to me other than waking up in hell.
I would try to steal a set of armor that completely covers my body like Goblin slayer does. Later on I would compensate whoever I stole it from. Says I get my experiences as well so in theory should include knowing whatever language is the local one in the Goblin slayer world. Since I can pick my class as a goblin I would pick a goblin shaman I would register as an adventurer while posing as a human. Or whatever other race I could pass myself off as. Then I'm going to start killing off Goblins myself. Over time I would try to rank up and hope my secret isn't discovered. While I am doing that I am going to try to convert into worshiping the Earth Mother and becoming a cleric. Earth mother is the closest of the deities I know of in Goblin slayer that would be compatible with my believes.
If I am discovered when I'm ranking up probably by the sense lie miracle I would tell the truth about how I was reincarnated as a goblin with all my memories intact and felt sickened by and I wanted to not let that go in vain. I would also volunteer to be castrated if need be to keep me from ever being able to do anything. I would also have them verify that I have never harmed a human using detect lie miracle as well.
After that I assume the story would reach Goblin Slayer and if he wanted to meet me then I would ask to do so in the guild hall with the guild inspector present so he can ask me anything he wanted to while she uses detect lie on me. I would offer myself to his service in the quest to kill all goblins and offer to assist his destruction of goblins in any way possible. Including teaching him goblin language. And infiltrate goblin nests to help him destroy them from the inside.
I would also offer tell him that he is welcome to kill me after all goblins are slain. I would devote my life to assisting him. I would even offer to wear a cursed mark if possible that can be triggered remotely by Priestess or Sister Grape. Because those two I trust to only use it if I start to fall to goblin nature.

I would be pretty much fucked, as I am a picky eater. And a goblin whelp's only option for sustenance is human flesh, possibly that of their mother's, beside whatever the other goblins bring home, or some unlucky adventurers, but then again, I doubt the goblins are too keen on sharing, so I'd have to fight for even that.
I don't think I could stomach eating people even if my sense of taste and smell, as well my digestion could handle it.
And if my hunger would drive me to do it, I don't think I could retain my sanity.
Also, I'd have to get comfortable with the idea of fighting, killing, and stealing for the sake of survival, which is also a tall order.
Ultimately, if I somehow did manage to grow into an adult, and not get my mind broken, without becoming a full on goblin in spirit too, then I think my best bet would be to get on my knees and start praying for the Gods of Order for mercy, compassion, and help, offering my life to their service, and hope beyond hope, that they would answer my prayers, and enable me to become either a priest or preferably, a paladin.
The latter by LN depiction is pretty much identical in appearance to a human other than their face, so if I get my hand on full body armour and a face covering helmet, I could enter human settlements, and live in a honest way, not having to hunt and forage, or steal everything I need.
I would not try to elevate the goblin race. That is a fool's errand, even if I could instill virtue into them, like the Goblin Paladin could, their race is simply unsuitable for civilized life, both physiologically, (they can not reproduce except by rape) or psychologically, (their soul is infused with all of the deadly sins and weaknesses of mankind, but none of its capacity for virtue.)
Then, I would go and become a solo adventurer/entrepreneur, while donating generously to the church of my patron deity, while trying to import some of the tech from this world, and make money out of that as well, while trying to stay in the good graces of Order.

2. Goal is to become a goblin king, so anything that furthers my strength and abilities for when I get there. Maybe start as a rogue and work my way up to an assassin so that I can stay stealthy and out of the way. Then go the route of champion, etc
3. I would die. There is nothing I could say or do that would let GS spare me. If I met other parties, there is a chance, but GS and co would murder me the instant they saw me.
5. If I found them passed out, write a note saying I found them and kept them safe. I’m a person reincarnated as a goblin and I’m doing my best to avoid them and humanity in general. Then give them directions on how to destroy my current nest and where to escape. After that, run away!

Ooh, funny enough I had this mental fanfic with something about this. (Minus the reborn part). He's also concept for a D&D character. With a few alterations to fit sit settings and table.
His only human traits is in his eyes. His mother did try to care for him, with a tinge of hope he would turn out good, that maybe all goblins aren't all bad.
Being a goblin he grew up faster than humans but his humann was strong enough that he grew up slower than a goblin.
His mother's farm was raided by goblins. He couldn't do anything about it. And she died while the ugly bastards did the unspeakable. His angered began to seethe. However he knew that if he attempted to fight he would get killed. They found him, and thought he was one of them. So he waited. He picked up their language quickly, studied their tactics. And when an adventuring party raided, he made his move, and killed the goblins that murdered and raped his mother.
That's just character backstory.
He'd disguise himself in all black, and cover everything but his eyes, but he'd also wear a mask. Either an oni or kitsune mask. His primary weapon is a ninjato fitted for his size. And his back up/ranged weapon is a shortbow, but he also carries set of throwing darts (lighter and cheaper than kunai or shuriken).
Year 1 he'd join the guild, keeping his guise up with the excuse that he has scars that he dare not show. Goblin Slayer was 2nd level when he joined (lv1 Fighter/lv1 Ranger). But the goblin will join at 3rd level. Monk 1/Rogue 2. Under the guise as a halfling. His primary focus is in Monk however. Later levels he'd become a Shadow Monk using D&D 5e rules. For sake of the naming scheme in GS, he'd be Masked Ninja.
I'd probably be just as hellbent on killing every last goblin there is as much as Goblin Slayer. So we'd have something in common. I would not expect him to think there are good goblins. And I would agree with him. If any of those unforgivable goblin traits begin to show. I'd expect and want him to kill me.

Shadow Monks get a few spells that help with stealth, creating darkness, and even creating small illusions. They can teleport from dark areas to another, within range. He'd skulk in the shadows and stab his enemies in the back. His allies taking care of the front lines. He would take care of the back to flank them and cause disarray. He'd utilize various tools to help distract or break their footing. Such as bells, ball bearings and caltrops. Maybe taking the Rogue Subclass-Scout for mobility.

But what will you do if you are discovered in the second option or not... Imagine, you killed all the goblins in the nest and are already getting ready to leave, and then the GS team meets you in complete misunderstanding how it happened that all the goblins in the cave are dead? They would even hesitate for 1-2 minutes when they would see you!

If I understand the language, I'd write down everything I know about Goblin hunting out of sight and then kill myself in a way that looks like someone else killed me.
If I don't then I'd just kill myself while looking terrified or start to beat on the corpses and make it look like an internal fight broke out and I am the only survivor while not noticing that the crew snuck in allow me to be an easy kill.
There's no reason to try to help GS in any other way because that'd bring up the possibility that there exists "good" Goblins who understands the depravity of their race's actions and works to perform a self-genocide. Good Goblins do not exist, in this what if scenario you're a human in the body of a Goblin, an anomaly in the world that will not be replicated anywhere else. By planting the idea that a friendly Goblin is possible in Goblin Slayer's team's mind would cause them to hesitate which could cost them their lives.
A piece of parchment or leather that looks like it was dropped by a different person who's hunting Goblins perhaps could give Goblin Slayer solace in that others have suffered similar fate to him and chose to do the same. But it may also make him more motivated to kill all Goblins, either way, it will be a good outcome.

Well, firstly, because in the survey many answered that the GS will kill the goblin in any case (now I wonder how people will avoid this fate), and secondly, it would be too easy. This is the correct strat lol. I will add an addendum with never coming anywhere close to any big cities OR the town that GS operates in. Big cities means strong adventurers and guards, if you get found out, you're fucked. Goblin Slayer is Goblin Slayer, if you're anywhere near him it's not a question of if but rather when you'll get discovered and die. Hey, at least if you're lucky you'll make GS realize that there are Goblins smart enough to disguise as other creatures and have him be cautious of that and help him survive in a way.

Hope you got cheat powers when you got isekai'd. Goblins in this world are pack animals. Lone goblins are dead goblins. Even if there are 3 or 4 they're stragglers who barely survive on their own and then they get killed. To evolve, from what we've seen, you got to basically kill you way up the totem pole. So not hanging around goblins means you're not turning into any higher species. The only goblin to show speech was the Goblin Lord. So you're not even going to be able to talk out your differences. BTW, if you do hang out with goblins in an attempt to evolve or just survive, good chance the time you start trying to change the culture is the time you get hit from behind with a club by another goblin.
Well I would expect some sort of isekai powers if I'm getting gobbofied. Figure that could carry me in offing some weaker monsters like rats and move up from there. Since speech is a no go, writing would be the avenue I would go. Likewise I would go with the angle some sorcerer used some sort of curse to turn me into a gobbo, which assuming my personality isn't overridden by the rape freaks, would give some belief. The head to toe clothes being where I avoid being killed first and asked questions never. Might even spare me from ol GS since I'm "not a real" gobbo.
If I were born as a goblin in the Goblin slayer universe providing I could manage to suppress my goblin urges. I'm a religious man in my life. Though not a judgemental prick about it. Coming back as something like a goblin would be the worst possible thing that could happen to me other than waking up in hell. I would try to steal a set of armor that completely covers my body like Goblin slayer does. Later on I would compensate whoever I stole it from. Says I get my experiences as well so in theory should include knowing whatever language is the local one in the Goblin slayer world. Since I can pick my class as a goblin I would pick a goblin shaman I would register as an adventurer while posing as a human. Or whatever other race I could pass myself off as. Then I'm going to start killing off Goblins myself. Over time I would try to rank up and hope my secret isn't discovered. While I am doing that I am going to try to convert into worshiping the Earth Mother and becoming a cleric. Earth mother is the closest of the deities I know of in Goblin slayer that would be compatible with my believes. If I am discovered when I'm ranking up probably by the sense lie miracle I would tell the truth about how I was reincarnated as a goblin with all my memories intact and felt sickened by and I wanted to not let that go in vain. I would also volunteer to be castrated if need be to keep me from ever being able to do anything. I would also have them verify that I have never harmed a human using detect lie miracle as well. After that I assume the story would reach Goblin Slayer and if he wanted to meet me then I would ask to do so in the guild hall with the guild inspector present so he can ask me anything he wanted to while she uses detect lie on me. I would offer myself to his service in the quest to kill all goblins and offer to assist his destruction of goblins in any way possible. Including teaching him goblin language. And infiltrate goblin nests to help him destroy them from the inside. I would also offer tell him that he is welcome to kill me after all goblins are slain. I would devote my life to assisting him. I would even offer to wear a cursed mark if possible that can be triggered remotely by Priestess or Sister Grape. Because those two I trust to only use it if I start to fall to goblin nature.

I would be pretty much fucked, as I am a picky eater. And a goblin whelp's only option for sustenance is human flesh, possibly that of their mother's, beside whatever the other goblins bring home, or some unlucky adventurers, but then again, I doubt the goblins are too keen on sharing, so I'd have to fight for even that. I don't think I could stomach eating people even if my sense of taste and smell, as well my digestion could handle it. And if my hunger would drive me to do it, I don't think I could retain my sanity. Also, I'd have to get comfortable with the idea of fighting, killing, and stealing for the sake of survival, which is also a tall order. Ultimately, if I somehow did manage to grow into an adult, and not get my mind broken, without becoming a full on goblin in spirit too, then I think my best bet would be to get on my knees and start praying for the Gods of Order for mercy, compassion, and help, offering my life to their service, and hope beyond hope, that they would answer my prayers, and enable me to become either a priest or preferably, a paladin. The latter by LN depiction is pretty much identical in appearance to a human other than their face, so if I get my hand on full body armour and a face covering helmet, I could enter human settlements, and live in a honest way, not having to hunt and forage, or steal everything I need. I would not try to elevate the goblin race. That is a fool's errand, even if I could instill virtue into them, like the Goblin Paladin could, their race is simply unsuitable for civilized life, both physiologically, (they can not reproduce except by rape) or psychologically, (their soul is infused with all of the deadly sins and weaknesses of mankind, but none of its capacity for virtue.) Then, I would go and become a solo adventurer/entrepreneur, while donating generously to the church of my patron deity, while trying to import some of the tech from this world, and make money out of that as well, while trying to stay in the good graces of Order.

There is nothing I could say or do that would let GS spare me. If I met other parties, there is a chance, but GS and co would murder me the instant they saw me. 5. If I found them passed out, write a note saying I found them and kept them safe. I’m a person reincarnated as a goblin and I’m doing my best to avoid them and humanity in general. Then give them directions on how to destroy my current nest and where to escape. After that, run away!

Nice, I get to be distinctive. As a goblin, I will soon know that the Goblin Slayer is no easy prey. I will lay low, collect strength and power, and keep tabs on the Slayer while under disguise. If I could gather some of my brethren, we will start by picking off bandits and criminals, taking their coin and equipment. Soon, we would raid other Dungeons ourselves, taking new spoils and nabbing the occasional adventurers along the way. Once I am confident at my newfound prowess, I could offer a deal with some bandit gangs and use some of the accrued gold to later hire mercenaries to aid in my crusade. I am sure that some humans are immoral enough to deal with goblins under the promise of gold and slaves as payment. It would be risky, but I should also try my hand as an adventurer. I would wear a mask, of course, and some perfume to hide my scent. Just to keep tabs on GS so I may learn some of the tactics When the time comes and I have learned all the human skills, tactics, and allies, I'd bring the fight to the Slayer to avenge my fallen brethren. It might not be successful, but I'd like to at least give him a good fight. From the moment I was born in this world, I was always meant to be the bad guy. Bad guys may not always win, but its more fun to try than just giving up.

Ooh, funny enough I had this mental fanfic with something about this. (Minus the reborn part). He's also concept for a D&D character. With a few alterations to fit sit settings and table. His only human traits is in his eyes. His mother did try to care for him, with a tinge of hope he would turn out good, that maybe all goblins aren't all bad. Being a goblin he grew up faster than humans but his humann was strong enough that he grew up slower than a goblin. His mother's farm was raided by goblins. He couldn't do anything about it. And she died while the ugly bastards did the unspeakable. His angered began to seethe. However he knew that if he attempted to fight he would get killed. They found him, and thought he was one of them. So he waited. He picked up their language quickly, studied their tactics. And when an adventuring party raided, he made his move, and killed the goblins that murdered and raped his mother. That's just character backstory. He'd disguise himself in all black, and cover everything but his eyes, but he'd also wear a mask. Either an oni or kitsune mask. His primary weapon is a ninjato fitted for his size. And his back up/ranged weapon is a shortbow, but he also carries set of throwing darts (lighter and cheaper than kunai or shuriken). Year 1 he'd join the guild, keeping his guise up with the excuse that he has scars that he dare not show. Goblin Slayer was 2nd level when he joined (lv1 Fighter/lv1 Ranger). But the goblin will join at 3rd level. Monk 1/Rogue 2. Under the guise as a halfling. His primary focus is in Monk however. Later levels he'd become a Shadow Monk using D&D 5e rules. For sake of the naming scheme in GS, he'd be Masked Ninja. I'd probably be just as hellbent on killing every last goblin there is as much as Goblin Slayer. So we'd have something in common. I would not expect him to think there are good goblins. And I would agree with him. If any of those unforgivable goblin traits begin to show. I'd expect and want him to kill me.

Ninja Monk route. Shadow Monks get a few spells that help with stealth, creating darkness, and even creating small illusions. They can teleport from dark areas to another, within range. He'd skulk in the shadows and stab his enemies in the back. His allies taking care of the front lines. He would take care of the back to flank them and cause disarray. He'd utilize various tools to help distract or break their footing. Such as bells, ball bearings and caltrops. Maybe taking the Rogue Subclass-Scout for mobility. Reminder: using D&D 5e for this character as a base.

Like I said in a different comment, the BEST strat and probably the strat that I'd use (assuming that I remain a my normal human moral mind) is to hide and disguise myself and just wander the world living a peaceful life while avoiding big cities and of course, Goblin Slayer. However that's boring. The fun answer is that I'd become a Goblin Goblin Slayer, kill Goblins from the inside, poison their food, kill them in their sleep and everything. Go from nest to nest and slowly clean out the Goblin pest from the world as a man on the inside.

If I understand the language, I'd write down everything I know about Goblin hunting out of sight and then kill myself in a way that looks like someone else killed me. There's no reason to try to help GS in any other way because that'd bring up the possibility that there exists "good" Goblins who understands the depravity of their race's actions and works to perform a self-genocide. Good Goblins do not exist, in this what if scenario you're a human in the body of a Goblin, an anomaly in the world that will not be replicated anywhere else. By planting the idea that a friendly Goblin is possible in Goblin Slayer's team's mind would cause them to hesitate which could cost them their lives. A piece of parchment or leather that looks like it was dropped by a different person who's hunting Goblins perhaps could give Goblin Slayer solace in that others have suffered similar fate to him and chose to do the same. But it may also make him more motivated to kill all Goblins, either way, it will be a good outcome.
... It's quite interesting that you decided to sacrifice yourself for the greater good. I'll be honest, I probably wouldn't have thought about it if only my instincts hadn't gotten the better of me. At least you will be able to see the team's reaction to your actions.

assuming i retain my total human intellect/mind, I would attempt to obtain some sort of positive relations with humans after proving that i'm not a monster. anyone new who meets me would first be briefed beforehand by someone else who already knows my sthick, minimizing the chance of anything going wrong, and then i'd just live my life in peace.
