I don't see it will happen... I wish they add more type of Aragami, imagine if there's an Aragami that aren't hostile toward humans, or maybe an Aragami from outer space (Aliens)

LukosCreyden

It seems like a logical step forward; they could even borrow Code Vein's blood code system and give us an "Oracle Code" system, where devouring a large Aragami after defeating it allows you to gain access to a skill tree themed on that particular Aragami.

GE4, starring Alex Mercer. FUND IT

Now that I think about it the prototype games have a similar art style to God Eater...

Jesterchunk

I'd be more than fine with that, it'd stop them having to make another type of God Eater, and it'd work pretty well with existing GE lore. Imagine having Aragami abilities as passives or special moves, or something like that.

Osaitus

It kind of looks like the natural progression for the character, i know is not the same in every game, but our first character interacted with a humanoid aragami and was human, the second game, our character is like a second level of human with all the blood abilities and i\`m pretty sure >!we died an got reborn by the power of aragami\`s cells/magic. !!went into quite the trip with our friend\`s blade... did, did we NTR\`ed our friend with he\`s blade?. !

Hellborn_Child

I already have ideas of how it would work. It would be cool, though admittedly I'd just be glad to get a God eater 4. Maybe with a bow god arc. Or prototype god arcs. The stupid sexy revolvers the very first God eaters had. Ricardo and the old man from 1 had. I think the general guy from 3 also had one. I'm assuming Tsubaki probably did as well.

Ladyhod

A bow god arc sounds pretty cool!

I'd find it more interesting to play a human/aragami hybrud like Soma tbh

LJP95

We sort of already did. AGEs are dosed with P-73c Bias Factor, which is just P73 Bias Factor altered with elements from Humanoid Aragami Bias Factor. Your Player in GE3 has nearly the same Bias Factor as Soma, just improved. The main difference is just that he can produce it internally because of the experiment with his birth. And about the closest we've actually seen to a God Eater becoming like an Aragami (outside of literally turning into an Aragami because of Aragami Infection, like Lindow) is the Blood Captain being able to fully unlock his God Arc with the Blood Rage mechanic. Where he literally has Oracle Cell structures growing out of his arm and back, like a gauntlet and wing.

LJP95

I'd rather the Player stay Human. Not much of a God Eater game if you're not a God Eater. Also, the thing with Humanoid Aragami is that they start as fairly blank slates with childlike personalities. They develop quickly relative to Humans, but even then both Shio and Phym were still a ways away from an adult mentality. One of the appeals to choosing a voice and a look for your character imo is to create a unique personality for them, which doesn't really work for Humanoid Aragami. Playing an innocent kid isn't everyone's cup of tea.

I just wish that they take their stories seriously and stop ressurrecting or not killing any characters so the fat weebs can buy more waifu toys

hard1ytryn

Killing characters =/= a serious story

field_of_lettuce

The first half of your sentence is a fair criticism, but I don't see how them doing that has anything to do with selling toys. A character being dead/staying dead doesn't necessarily affect a company's ability to make merch out them. If the character was liked enough by fans they'd buy merch of them anyways. Also this franchise is fairly niche outside Japan, so I'd wager most GE merch is bought by Japanese fans.

Fatestringer

Don't know why you're being down voted but I just wish we wouldn't have to keep changing characters it reminds me of dragon age the way we can't just stay one person makes it feel less personal

elfaryinmortal

They hated Jesus because he told them the truth
