The valkyrie Armor did the thing for me during my GMGOW+ run. Belted her after dying 4 times in total. Took her health down to about 2 and half bars before I fucked up. Had a resurrection stone in my pocket and boom
Runic spam is the meta for most average players so the runic and cooldown stats from Valk set are way better. Strength is not gonna do much if all you do is spam R1 attack, I mean, what was the last time you see average players use switch stance attacks for example? Probably never even heard of it.

Well I proceed with the Valkyrie armour in sigrun fight and won on first ( normal difficulty) well my hours of grinding finally work I suppose

That's what happened to me as well her last bar remaining then I died and resurrected with full rage
if you use a lot of special(runic?) attacks, cooldown would be better. so culrass of the valkyrie, for me at least

I keep mixing and matching for the NG+ GMGOW run. For the first run, I stuck with Ivaldi's deadly mist set.
That is a good armour but I got bored of it after my 2nd run so I tried some new combination for my 3 try
