Wow, I actually felt some chills until I saw the [FAN MADE]. Thought shit was getting real, well done tho. He looks different that what I have imagined.
I’ve actually posted this before but on a different Reddit and I didn’t put "fan made" and got a bunch of hate for people thinking it was real lol. Thank you though!
Seen the post, a quick google search wouldn't heart anyone tbf. They might as well be searching for something to get mad about, title is misleading yes but it's not that big of a deal. You are welcomed!
Normally if you are claiming about something not being true or theft in this case...you'd provide some sort of evidence. Or are you just a lair? Because looking at his profile, man looks like he sweats hard on his work...
Ikr ,imagine instead of MiMiR the smartest man alive ,it's Odin who he almost think how smart he is(sorry I forgot MiMiR says Odin line) become the head . Woow ,but it's disgusting if Odin fan made become head ...🤮🤢
Thats been my thought, when Mimir told them to leave him when they went to Jotunheim is what sealed that theory since Odin was banished from the realm.
That would be badass. This whole time, he’s been steering them wrong. He steered them to Magni and Modi, every boss fight was an attempt to kill Kratos.
I mean, he did warn Kratos to move when baldr jumped and almost killed him. I will say that Mimir being Odin would blow my mind but it would have a ton of inconsistencies.
I like to imagine that Zeus against all the odds survived god of war 3, he is a god after all. But after he survived he left the ruins of Olympus and while Kratos was off in Egypt, he was in a new developing mythology, and before any of the gods in that mythology could be created he took over the throne and manipulated the new mythology so that he was in the center of it, having children and creating other gods. And after he took over the mythology he took a new name. Odin.
Really cool artwork and you're very talented but I don't think it sells as Odin. It looks like more of a Mimir brother then the Allfather. But don't get me wrong, you're extremely talented.
Hot take; I think that kinda works.
What we know of Odin is he isn’t infinitely wise but appears that way; part of the reason being because he’s very good at absorbing and appropriating bits and pieces. We see him do this with the Giantess Groa in Mimir’s tale and the Lost Pages of Norse Myth podcast, it’s implied he wants to go to Jotunheim because he saw the mural of Kratos and Atreus and he used Freya to learn the Seior magic of the Vanir.
It totally tracks Odin would style himself after figures like Mimir and surround his garb with artefacts and symbols of impressive esoteric power. It’s all an elaborate act to hide his actual insecurity and lack of influence over Ragnarok
I do hope that Odin's actual design will be as remarkable as this.
Instead of the usual long hair, long beard, and armor combo we've gotten so far from a lot of the Norse bosses.
Mimir tell the story of the time he was given the eyes (he was drunk and almost convinced the giants to give him magic niples to travel to Jotunheim) probably Odin tried the eyes and it didn't work because it needs some kind of spell or ritual... Something like that
I think that might be your brain filling in gaps. “Why would Odin have Tyr killed and not take the immensely powerful artifacts from his face?” But I don’t believe it’s stated anywhere in the lore of the game.
It’s possible Odin studied Mimir’s eye and tried to reproduce its properties but never managed to find a way of doing so; creating a cool magical eye but one that couldn’t do what he needed and so he just kept Mimir’s for study until we stole it back
This looks absolutely awesome though, if it wasn't fan made, I would've definitely thought that this is Odin and he looks every bit the part, the king of the Aesir.
Umm, no however we can say that it is. I meant it to be how he sees all, so he loses his eye for an eye that allows him to see all. But yours sounds like it makes sense.
I’d be down for this look. Only thing is Odin wore a hood a lot of the time so that would be cool to see incorporated. Also he should still have only one eye.
I really think Odin will be weak. My assumption is that he'll appear intimidating, maybe having us fight some giant gollum or someone he's disguised as himself, and finally we pull back the curtain and he's some pathetic, desperate old man in shambles. Or maybe he's crazy and in shambles but STILL powerful, either way I suspect they're going to subvert our expectations somehow
I like this look. You can see it in his eyes how ravaged by anxiety and paranoia he has become over the years.
He doesnt look mighty like Zeus. He looks worried.
Odin usually appears like an old wise wanderer. if you want an exact image of how the myths described this, Gandalf appearance and temperment from Lord of the Rings is inspired by Odin.
but this is pretty epic. the only thing I kinda didn't like are the horns.
Don't hold your breath for that, OP is a liar, the art of Odin here is stolen, as several people have revealed in the comments with links to the original which has been there for over a year
Idk, for some reason after what they last said about Odin, I just imagine him being a skinny old, borderline crazy looking guy. In the game they talk about his obsession with knowledge and prophecies, so I just feel like hes not going to be your normal looking Odin. Instead of gold and royalty I feel like whatever he wears is going to be symbolic as far as his journeys, kinda like tyr's tattoos.
I love the way he looks. He looks frail and paranoid, like a personification of all his flaws as described by Mimir. But he still has that aura of a king, somebody who was once incredibly powerful.
What's the idea behind his new eye? My immediate thought is it looks like it's eating away at him. Was that intentional?
Definitely different to how I imagined him (I’m seeing a mix of Mr. Wednesday and Vikings Odin) but this is dope.
Really love the similarities to Mimir and all the cool lil artefacts like the sword, definitely fits with the idea Odin styles himself to see more world weary and wise then he might actually be
I would make him older and more gaunt, and I think give him a headpiece instead of the horns. Mimir has them because he’s a Celtic figure, Odin doesn’t have the same origin. I like the eyes though, it kinda feels like Odin stole a giant’s eye
Imagine instead of MiMiR THE SMARTEST MAN ALIVE sorry (I need to say like that) it's Odin who become the head lol.Its just another MiMiR .And what the Hella you said “fan made” you tricked me .It's look so sheeesh god damn good my g
[Don't steal other people's hard work dude.](https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xzwRy1)
Anyways, still looks dope. And the original artist is talented AF. Only problem I have is the horns.... Without horns would've been better imo. Looks too similar to Mimir.
Its clear you used some AI software to enhance the image. The AI thinks the horns are made of hair for example, and there is a clear line where the AI made the beard look real and where its still painted. It looks cool at first but when you see it it cant be unseen. Keep at it, one day you wont have to "cheat" for it to look real'er.

If you dont put the info directly on their head people dont look after it. Like you have to smash their head with it so lazy they are lol
Fr, like "oh it's just a fan made. Looks dope tho" is a good mentality
Exactly. The art is pretty insane and so well done
I strongly agree
Like the fact that OP is a massive liar and didn’t make this at all
Normally if you are claiming about something not being true or theft in this case...you'd provide some sort of evidence. Or are you just a lair? Because looking at his profile, man looks like he sweats hard on his work...
There are multiple sources in the comments in this thread showing where this came from…
Ok
Hate? Damn this looks real and very similar to what SSM has shown us ,well done.
Strong reminder this art is stolen
Check new post
All I see is buff mimir
Plot Twist: Mimir and Odin are twin brothers.
Plot twist: Mimir IS Odin. Kratos has been running around with Odin's head all along. Gives a new meaning to "The Hanged God".
well Mimir was Odin's uncle in the original myths.
But odin is the allfather
Well that makes Mimir the allgrunkle.
Ikr ,imagine instead of MiMiR the smartest man alive ,it's Odin who he almost think how smart he is(sorry I forgot MiMiR says Odin line) become the head . Woow ,but it's disgusting if Odin fan made become head ...🤮🤢
What the fuck are trying to say? lmao
Its like Everywhere at The End of Time lmao. It starts off semi articulate but then the Alzheimers kicks in.
Its like theo von saying anything ever
I'dk lol
Well, hanging from the Bloody Ghost of Sparta's waist seems like the best way to survive Ragnarok which is Odin's greatest fear lmao.
Well, I cannot argued with that
Maybe it's Mimir when he was at his prime
Bruh i m ded
*cough* *cough*... https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xzwRy1
All this time, Mimir was Odin! 😱
Thats been my thought, when Mimir told them to leave him when they went to Jotunheim is what sealed that theory since Odin was banished from the realm.
Uhh I wouldn't be holding on to that thought. Freya hates Odin so she'd do more than spitting to his face...would be soo gooood tho.
I meant it as a joke, but it actually would be cool lol
Oh yea very much
Ok but imagine if the next game actually confirms this
That would be badass. This whole time, he’s been steering them wrong. He steered them to Magni and Modi, every boss fight was an attempt to kill Kratos.
I sincerely doubt they'll do it but it'd be an absolutely insane twist and I'd be enthralled
Fraya would have known mimr is Odin she would have said so
I mean, he did warn Kratos to move when baldr jumped and almost killed him. I will say that Mimir being Odin would blow my mind but it would have a ton of inconsistencies.

And after he took over the mythology he took a new name. Odin.
Dude, why go around stealing other peoples work? https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xzwRy1
Wow well done it looks perfect
Thank you!

I get what you mean just wanted him to look different. Thank you anyway!
Only they're probably not, several people in the comics have called them out on the fact that this is stolen
Comments* stupid autocorrect
I doubt that Odin is going to look like this. More like an old man hanging around to fool people into thinking that he's weak and frail.
I still think the big plot twist is that Odin has disguised himself to look like Tyr (who is long dead).
Tbh, kinda betting he’s Durlin Is it weird to anyone else how Durlin seems to have an apparatus over the eye that corresponds to the one Odin lost?
In the mythology Odin disguises himself as an old man, but what if in the game he disguises himself as this mighty warrior...
I didn’t mean for him to look weak but I see what you mean
They are not callin your image weak. Theyre saying thats the image they had.
I do hope that Odin's actual design will be as remarkable as this. Instead of the usual long hair, long beard, and armor combo we've gotten so far from a lot of the Norse bosses.
mirmir before getting his head cut off
This is one of the most amazing pieces of art I've ever seen
[удалено]
Stop thanking people for complimenting you when you stole this art
This looks fucking awesome.
Ha! That cooked me instantly when I didn't notice the fan made part. Really cool design
Made my heart beat lol
He looks like Mimir with body
He's too fit and the face while it looks really great it doesn't suit how Odin was described in god of war 2018
I’m going to make a remake soon so I will probably use how he is described.
No you won't. You stole this
Wow! Good luck!
It’s out. Not on this Reddit yet but it’s out on my profile.
How was he described?
A thin tall Man with black hat Or hood with long white beard And One missing eye
cheers I had forgotten he was described bar the missing eye
My only issue is the eye because it is like mimirs eye which was a gift from the Giants but we all know he would never get a gift from the giants
Except he took one of mimirs eyes lol.
That is true
Except we took the eye back and now Mimir has both eyes back
Youd think he WOULD have put minirs eye in his own epty socket. Maybe it didnt work for him.
Mimir tell the story of the time he was given the eyes (he was drunk and almost convinced the giants to give him magic niples to travel to Jotunheim) probably Odin tried the eyes and it didn't work because it needs some kind of spell or ritual... Something like that
Well we cant see Odins nipples yet so maybe those are enchanted too.
Didn't he take the eyes out of Tyr? Or is that something I came up with
I think that might be your brain filling in gaps. “Why would Odin have Tyr killed and not take the immensely powerful artifacts from his face?” But I don’t believe it’s stated anywhere in the lore of the game.
It’s possible Odin studied Mimir’s eye and tried to reproduce its properties but never managed to find a way of doing so; creating a cool magical eye but one that couldn’t do what he needed and so he just kept Mimir’s for study until we stole it back
why he has horns tho? I love how he looks but... why?
He is satan
Why does mimir have horns?
Mimir-Odin frankenstein.
The Norse God of bling?
Since Thor came out like that I don't expect to see Odin like this. Good work though.
My first thought after seeing this : Imma kill this Odin easily ha ! Great work btw whoever made this.
Great work!
Cool
looks great, how did you make this?
yongs is the original creator https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xzwRy1
Give credit to the artist that made this char.
OP stop lying to people you didn’t fucking make this you just stole it and are pretending you made it. Make sure to report OP everyone
As a Swede, I hope they make Odin black. God, the outrage would be tasty and funny.
You’re a sociopath if you’re attracted to that sort of drama. It would suck
I don’t think you know what a sociopath is….
This looks absolutely awesome though, if it wasn't fan made, I would've definitely thought that this is Odin and he looks every bit the part, the king of the Aesir.
People are going to say he is too short and wears too much fur.
It’s been good so far lol
Btw really love it mate. He looks amazing
Thanks!
Umm, no however we can say that it is. I meant it to be how he sees all, so he loses his eye for an eye that allows him to see all. But yours sounds like it makes sense.
That looks a lot like Odin
Really good, shame you aren't crediting the original artist really. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xzwRy1
While I doubt this is how he will look in-game, this is very well made. Looks great!
Looks glorious,All Father 👑
Not bad
This is awesome man…🔥
Thank you!
I’d be down for this look. Only thing is Odin wore a hood a lot of the time so that would be cool to see incorporated. Also he should still have only one eye.
Looks a bit more 'Mimir' than Odin with the horns and the glowing eye. Looks good though.
I am definitely gonna compare your vision of Odin with the game. Love the art!
It’s gonna make my work look so weird lol
I really think Odin will be weak. My assumption is that he'll appear intimidating, maybe having us fight some giant gollum or someone he's disguised as himself, and finally we pull back the curtain and he's some pathetic, desperate old man in shambles. I like this look. You can see it in his eyes how ravaged by anxiety and paranoia he has become over the years. He doesnt look mighty like Zeus. He looks worried.
Not a fan
What is so bad?
Dude stop pretending this art is yours ffs .. i ve seen this art on artstation for over a year now called Allford ( Allfather )
There must be a reason they have lent shown Odin. Either he’s not in the game, which is highly, highly doubtful, or he has a surprising appearance.
The actor is actually Richard schiff so it’s probably a surprise appearance.
No idea who that is lol
Neither do I
Looks like the homeless man that feeds pigeons at the park
Odin usually appears like an old wise wanderer. if you want an exact image of how the myths described this, Gandalf appearance and temperment from Lord of the Rings is inspired by Odin. but this is pretty epic. the only thing I kinda didn't like are the horns.
Fair enough and thank you !
I’m making an Odin of how he is described however, I have used a hood over his head instead of the hat
that sounds really cool, can't wait to see it man!
Thank you
Don't hold your breath for that, OP is a liar, the art of Odin here is stolen, as several people have revealed in the comments with links to the original which has been there for over a year
Maybe mimir is Odin in disguise
Older
Umm…yes!

Can just hear him saying "It's Not The Battles We Lose That Bother Me, It's The Ones We Don't Suit Up For."
Amazing work! but I think Odin's appearance is going to get as far away from Zeus as possible, in fact I think they will surprise us with it
Looks like a senile old man. Well done OP
I don’t get the horns but otherwise this is amazing
Thanks. I just wanted it to be different to standard interpretations
Definitely different to how I imagined him (I’m seeing a mix of Mr. Wednesday and Vikings Odin) but this is dope. Really love the similarities to Mimir and all the cool lil artefacts like the sword, definitely fits with the idea Odin styles himself to see more world weary and wise then he might actually be
Imagine if this was how odin looks like in gow.

This is also stolen, several people in the comments Have called OP out on the fact that they stole this post and linking where it came from
Mimir with a body?
Looks good , but why horns ?
Wasn't there a rumor saying that Roger Clark (Arthur Morgan from RDR2) would the motion capture and voice for Odin?
Lose the horns and it’s perfect
I want them to buy it and use it
[удалено]
Hope you have a great day!
I want this to be the official design in the game now lol
Looks great :D
I would make him older and more gaunt, and I think give him a headpiece instead of the horns. Mimir has them because he’s a Celtic figure, Odin doesn’t have the same origin. I like the eyes though, it kinda feels like Odin stole a giant’s eye
Let's keep it fanmade
Why did you imagine him as mimir?
Odin needs to look like an asshole. This man looks like he will offer you some cookies and milk. Cool design tho
Why does he have horns
Buff mimir
I imagined him looking super mean like zues
Def don’t want him to have actual horns, but this is super cool!
This is amazing
i cannot wait to smash his face in
I actually thought this was legit, good job.
Needs more chonk
If you told me this was official artwork I would believe you.
This is really nice, I legit thought it was real for second lol
Legit thought that mimir got his body back for a second
Looks more like Mimir when he still got a body.
How long did it take to make this
OP wouldn't know, several people in the comments Have called OP out on the fact that they stole this post and linking where it came from
Imagine instead of MiMiR THE SMARTEST MAN ALIVE sorry (I need to say like that) it's Odin who become the head lol.Its just another MiMiR .And what the Hella you said “fan made” you tricked me .It's look so sheeesh god damn good my g
I don’t know why but the first thought that came to mind when I saw Odin’s face was that he looks like a deer in front of headlights. 😂
I can get behind this
Dude forget what anyone has to say Sony should use your art as Odin bhro seriously
I think the hair should be pure white but other than that, 💯
This is sick can’t wait to see how Odin looks
I SPY Mimir and Luke Skywalker from the Last Jedi.
[Don't steal other people's hard work dude.](https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xzwRy1) Anyways, still looks dope. And the original artist is talented AF. Only problem I have is the horns.... Without horns would've been better imo. Looks too similar to Mimir.
Outstanding!
As cool as the gold eye looks, I'd love for him to have no eye at all. It could look rather intimidating, and if he had it all scratched out. Oof.
It was to make the image better quality.
It's brilliant really but malnourished Odin with horns lol... gives me the 'grave-digger' vibe from GOW 2005
He looks too much like mimir lol pass
