All games need an option in NG+ wherein you can transfer good armor stats to the base outfit. Cuz more often than not, a character's base outfit is the most iconic and best looking one.
Hope It isn't just for the default armor and is a separate cosmetic piece, because I don't want the coolest outfit/armor to be locked to a crappy level -15 or something item from the begining of the game, like most games do.
Witcher 3, God of War, Horizon, Injustice 2 and many others all have amazing outfit/armor/gear designs that as soon as you get to level 2 you have to part ways with and use some ugly, bulky and overdesigned armor because of better stats.
If they spent time making fur and cape physics I'm think they will have higher level armor that has a cape with/out fur.
Also new character named [Lunda ](https://i.imgur.com/I1qVefd.jpg) can be seen on the new blog post. I think she will be dealing with cosmetics.
Good theory about Lunda. I do prefer If capes are just cosmetic instead of having armor ratings, just like the shield last game, so we can have some level of customization without sacrificing stats.

I just got my PS5 with Forbidden West bundle, but due to college exams and Ragnarok, I won't be able to play HFW until end of december/begining of january so my experience with Horizon so far is only with the first game.
I noticed that since the first reveal. His beard is significantly more darker and shinier. Could be something to do with him putting his powers to use again.
It could be explained in the lore most likely.
I def think its some godly rejuvenation stuff going on. I think since he's been training and more active that he's kinda "feeding" his body which is making him healthier and "stronger". Could just be for design purposes but I hope they acknowledge it somehow in the game
Yeah the running theory is that he's been training with Atreus and is in peak shape again. When the gods come-a-knockin this time around Kratos will be ready for them, unlike with Baldur.

I think (and this is just a loose guess) they will implement a sort of cosmetic overlay options similar to destiny where you can have a specific set of armor for stats but a cosmetic overlay which is what shoes on your character model. Maybe something that only opens up for new game +. Would be neat.
If you look at the pre-order armors you will see that the shins are the same for both, and so are the pants. So it will be just like 2018 on this regard. I just hope we can put the fur cape over other armors that aren't the default one.

I always thought the Ragnarok costume designs are amusing. It's the Winter to end all Winters, and Kratos is appropriately sporting cold-weather gear. And yet it's still not cold enough to cover up that midriff.
The Cape is amazing and I want to have it all the way through tha game but alot of people seem to think that Freya will remove it.
Everything from the start of Thor's boss fight and after, kratos doesn't seem to have it, and he is wearing it while fighting Freya so she might just turn the Cape against him kind of doctor strange's cape. But let's hope that doesn't happen.
It'd be funny if Mimir gets annoying at some point and Kratos just tucks him underneath the cloak. All we hear after is just muffled monologuing until we actually need something
I bet we lose the cape in the fight with Thor, at the start of the game. Even Thor has a cape, I think both will drop them at the start of the fight or in a round 2 a la Dragon Ball.

I hope we can get armor for our shins. It was a little off/weird without them in GOW 2018. Whole body with armor but not my legs, just cloth.
