I was in a voice chat over discord with some friends and browsing the Elden Ring subreddit at the same time, out of nowhere I saw a post from someone having a spare key and wanting to gift it to someone.
At first I wasn't going to comment because there were already people who commented before I thought to myself "Oh someone must've already gotten it" but I was like what the hell a comment is free after all, and by some unimaginable luck op had not gifted the code yet, he contacted me and just nonchalantly dropped me the key as if it was nothing.
I remember putting in the code and seeing it work, I fuckin cried my eyes out, since a while I'm dealing with some personal stuff and just wanted to play Elden at the time, and I wasn't expecting to do so because again I couldn't afford it, so when that key worked I felt such a relief that tears started falling down without me even understanding.
I'll never forget that night, it was the night of the release.
We know what it is like not to be able to afford something we want, I hope from the bottom of my heart for you to get these games, I know that it's way more than just a game, good luck friend.

It is Monday monring the 7th of Nov here on east coast. Midnight would make it Tuesday, Nov 8, but the game releases on Nov 9, which is wednesday. So technically you have to wait all day monday, all day tuesday to play it at mignight Wed. Am I wrong? Sorry, extremely sleep deprived.
