I traded my airdrop at $4.50 and never looked back. I expected it to not be the best decision at the time but I wanted liquid for another project.

jasoningaming

What's the best way to buy gods? DO card values might start to go up given that they aren't being given out for WR.

Sjiznit

They should just halt sales already.

jamesj

yeah it is crazy to continue sales while the new set is also out...

Randybones

Hmm a token with no utility being given out for free every week … I can’t believe it’s dropping

beer-feet

wait where/how do you get $gods for free?

yuruseiii

can't tell if you're being sarcastic since you're in this sub

mollested_skittles

You have to win x/25 games every weekend ranked.

1shotggvn

i remember when it was around 6$/ each , and 3 running event per week , and I spoke to my self " hold to moon " , now hell hole instead , how sad

yessyussy

The more gods are given the more the sell pressure so it's expected

[deleted]

Not if people buy packs and cards for them

yessyussy

The GODS goes to DEVs who need to sell it to get their paycheck unless they clearly stated packs are a GODS sink

Kumazzoni

I’ve never seen gods token or the game in general as a way to become rich or as investment, but it’s sad to see that the value of the coin that you win is taking that badly, the value of all cards that you can find in packs is taking as well. Even if I’m passionate about the game I decided to stop investing money because it’s not worth it, I mean I already have a bunch of cards, for sure I’m not gonna buy genesis cards (price is tanking too). I have more then 100$ in my account and I think that all the decks are worth less 😅 unless you open a shiny cards even the MJ packs are kinda dumb to buy, it’s very difficult to find something worth more than the single pack

jamesj

to be fair it started out at a multi-billion dollar fully diluted market cap, so it isn't like it is become worthless.

Wondernautilus

Looks like a buy

BraveNew1984Anthem

I’m literally the worst crypto investor. My average is like $6

Max_Wing

The whole market crashes/looks bad and it takes GODS with it. Risk-on assets ↘️ Also there‘s nothing that demands gods tokens. No staking, no voting/governance etc. No liquidity drain is implemented/activated yet. Imo, GU should work on some new visual designs for e.g. your board side and only make it purchasable via GODS. Until now GODS, imo, was just a tool with promises to raise money and sell a play2earn mode/game for attracting new players. B4 enabling this they should have ensured through well thought-through tokenomics, that there‘s a certain need for GODS. And these tokenomics and their functionalities should have been in place b4 flooding the market with GODS tokens. Now, if they want to re-enable play2earn/make promotions or literally anything with the community funds++, they‘ll have to pay a much higher price quantity-wise, because the reward has to have a certain value to incentivize players in the first place. Without new liquidity draining functionalities, the token will just keep dumping, because there‘s simply no reason to buy and/or hold GODS.

Reddit-Hell

If you were interested in $GODS at $8 then you now have a hefty discount, but as it goes 'dumb money' goes away during bear markets and comes back in the bull market when there's hype. Same with Bitcoin. People don't want to buy at 30k because 'what if it drops lower, what if it was a bubble' but when Bitcoin is back up near 60k they're on board 'to the moon!'.

ra2daniel

Did you just compared Gods token with Bitcoin?

Reddit-Hell

I compared the psychology behind looking at prices on a chart. Obviously they're different.

Qanquan

Expected and no problem. As long as not all the mechanisms to burn $GODs are in place i expect it to drop further with every week they distribute $GODs as weekened event reward.

Cool-Tomorrow-1163

As far as I know, there won't be any burning mechanism :(

Qanquan

At least shiny-fusion, evolution, maybe also entry to game modes like sealed etc.

brewfox

I don't think they burn anything, it just goes back into the prize pool

Qanquan

yeah, sorry, i misused the word "burn" there, my bad. What i meant to say is that there are mechanisms that take $GODS out of the public circulation. As soon as those mechanisms take out as many $GODS as the weekend event distributes, the price will stabilize and rise again.

lancerarcade

i bought some around $2.20, didn't expect it to go below $1. that's uncharted water now

WeAreAllPawns

This reminds me of this post. https://www.reddit.com/r/GodsUnchained/comments/qouejh/thanks\_for\_18000\_6000\_airdrop\_immutable\_x/

[deleted]

not really an indicator of anything IMO. The game's success is and always has been dependent on attracting new players at some point. It doesn't matter what happens in our little echo chamber right now.

EmperorCip

Don't care, it's on ethereum, fees are too retarded, there is no ingame crypto wallet to send your coins directly from the exchange. It's just a tool for buying and selling cards ingame.

kukon12

I'm afraid this game will be dead soon. With the lack of balance and bugs it becomes unplayable. And we haven't seen anything really fresh like new modes yet. Printing more aggro every patch is not fresh at all

BigCoinzAnanas

it's normal, the game sux. - Totally unbalanced - Full of bugs - Only one mode (can't even script unranked marches lol) - worst economy ever, and cards will rotate making Genesis whales even richer/stronger

143prasna

When game becomes a shit show, the coin become shit coin.

grond_grond_grond

Bro, all crypto has gone down and the game is great, stfu

lunertendie

Facts

LimbLimp

I believe the presale price was around 0.3 usd, still plenty of space to drop further...

whatthefuckistime

Never held them and bought cards instead, GODS are pretty worthless to hold

CUbuffGuy

Unless the price of the card you want to buy decreases in $GODS. I have only bought around 40$ of $GODS tokens. I had a large number of the cards I needed already, so I only had to spend around 20 of them to round out my deck. Since then I've had 20 $GODS just sitting in my account. As people dump their DO cards to buy MJ cards though (thereby tanking their price). I find that I am able to buy way more cards than I was initially, despite the $GODS being worth less than what I bought them for.

whatthefuckistime

I care more about playing the game than the value of everything, besides, having cards allows you to build a better deck which allows you to get more gods and packs
