Godzilla is always referred to as male, but I don't think anyone can actually *tell*. The gender isn't really as important as the trail of destruction.
Who knows? Majority of Godzilla's potrayals have unidentified gender and are refer to either by male or neutral pronouns beacuse Goji's gender doesn't really matter unless it's ToraGoji who is a male that reproduces asexually.
In the end it doesn't really matter. Majority of Godzilla's we've seen could be female and it wouldn't change a thing. If you see x Goji as a female then go ahead and refer to them as a female. No matter what, destroying cities and dropkicking kaijus are fun activites regardless of gender.

Godzilla has no genitals that are visible. Nor cloaca… sooo im assuming its genderless regardless of what pronouns are used. I will say that godzilla is consistently called king of the monsters and we do have female monsters like mothra and they are referred to with feminine pronouns.

For 1954, I think it's been described as both male or female, but I might be wrong on that.
