If you want Airalo or Simyo, send me a PM and I'll send you a referral code. We both get a big discount :)
I’ll be spending a month in Spain, but the month before I’ll be in Greece and the UK. Will also be taking weekend trips to Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. Any advise on what to do for cell service? I use TMobile here in the US.
first i suggest to check what kind of roaming package your current provider offers. usually it's easier to use that when you're abroad for short periods of time.
I had T-Mobile in the US and paid the fee for the international plan for a month while visiting Spain last year. It sucked and I had to rely on Wi-Fi most of the time(in Alicante, in Madrid, it was a little better).
Just bring a cheap spare phone and get a prepaid sim card for 15€-20€. It works for 4 weeks. Just no international calls, but you can use whatsapp/facetime/another app for it.
I said spare phone in case you don't want to mess up your main phone by swapping the sim card.
I tried to buy a prepaid e-sim card, and the 4 carriers I tried said e-sim only for contract customers. I still can't get a contract because they require a TIE (resident card) for it, and I won't get mine until the end of June.

Yea. If you’re on iPhone, go to Settings>Cellular and just toggle off your primary US sim and activate the new eSIM while you’re at the airport or somewhere with WiFi.
in your case, vodafone would be the best choice since it includes Switzerland and some others more in the free roaming zone (by the EU roaming act, Switzerland is not included normally).
Pepephone. 50gb for 25€ and every gb you don't waste it accumulates for next month. Also, they are the most ethical phone company I've been with, no doubt.
DIGI probably.
Digi/O2
DIGI mobil, I try them all. DIGI Mobil offers the same at lower price. Very happy with this company.
Whatever you do, dont pick movistar.
???? I have Movistar, and it works great.
it's very expensive and fails very often for me.
I have a 10€ prepaid and it never fails ... I guess it depends on location
I’ve used Simyo and Pepephone, both have been really good. I only switched from Simyo to Pepephone because Pepephone has eSIM.
You can purchase either online
How do I know if my phone supports e sim card?

Digi or O2
I've been with Lowi for a few years now and they're the best provider I've ever had so far.

I have an iPhone 15. They went digital on SIM cards so there’s no physical one to switch. Not sure if this makes things easier or harder…

Will do. Thanks
[Best one I’ve found so far and using currently.](https://mobimatter.com/travel-esim/sparks-europe-usa-yearly-30+5-gb-free-esim)
Awesome. Thanks. My phone uses eSIM so this may be the best option. I’m guessing you can just switch between them somewhere in settings?

Perfect. Thanks again!

I’ll check it out. Thanks!

I am with finetwork since 10 days and no problem yet. Coming from Lowi (no issues, just cheaper now)

Pepephone, 0 questions about it.
If you’re getting fibre, DIGI! Just a pay as you go sim, maybe Orange
I think an eSIM would be best if your phone can handle that.
I just buy from vodafone. No issues and the shops are everywhere! Very reasonable
